I dont agree,the square wave are right but dimmer out ,is not right if you put voltmeter ,beside led you will see voltage rise and fall, in 255 steps(you might agree why) whereas pwm is not reducing or increasing voltage ,as in square waves.pwm is on and off, in fixed frequency ,there is no stepped volatege it must be either 0 or 5(or 12)
instead you are mistakenly taking analog out as pwm
there is difference in analog out and pwm
