I don't think it was accidental. Ut was very intensional. The alien in the beginning sacrifices himself to provide the genetic material to create life on earth.
I think it was in a deleted scene where there were other aliens watching him before he drank the black goo. They left in a ship before he died. It most definitely was an intentional ritual
This was definitely no accident. Just imagine. . . OOH NOO I accidentally traveled across the universe and happened to land on this perfectly habitable planet, and accidentally drank this life sacrificing drink in the exact place and time that just happens to sprout intelligent life through the universe! I didn’t mean to do all that, it was an accident I swear!
Perfectly habitable planet? Earth was utterly uninhabitable until microbial life forms shat out enough oxygen gases for it to become what we now think of as habitable. The Engineer shouldn't have been able to breathe the toxic mix of chemicals present on a lifeless earth. Alternatively, if they want to pretend that there WAS oxygen on earth at that time, then it would HAVE to be constantly renewed by life forms present there (atmospheric oxygen is too reactive to remain in the atmosphere for very long), which we don't see. There are no plants and no algae blooms visible anywhere, so this is DEFINITELY a planet without any atmospheric oxygen.
My guy was just tryna get wasted on some alien drug shit but accidently poured the liquid specifically designed to disintegrate their bodies and spread their DNA all over the place with the intent to sprout life. Imagine if that were actual human lore lmao

So, her idea was to go to their home planet in a commandeered warship armed with enough bioweapons to wipe out a species, fully expecting them to not re-initiate their plan to wipe out humanity because she is owed an answer? Do you people really not see why this movie is stupid?
The alien in the beginning is a war criminal who received two choices. Either die in his home planet or sacrifice his body to create life on a new planet.
It was not a mistake. In fact if you see the followups you will understand that humans were never the outcome. I recommend looking into the dialogue of the engineer and David that was cut and never made it into the movie. It's more biblical. That's why they made Shaw as a Christian. They cut all that out to leave it open to speculations like your own', which I think was the right thing to do, but some of the other dialogue they cut should have been left as it answered many questions from the entire franchise.
I agree with the comment above mine. It was even broken down that the facehuggers were on that isolated planet as more of a military base, not where the creators actually lived. They used the xenomorph as a weapon, like we do guns or nuclear bombs, and kept the weapons far from their own homes knowing th dangers that is posed. The entire purpose of their mission was to end life on earth because we humans did not end up the way the creators intended and they "needed" to wipe us out.

would it have killed them to give even a small amount of insight why they wanted to end humanity and why they got stuck on that military base and WHAT was the darn squid creature all about???
There’s actually some deleted scenes and shit where the engineer actually talks about the why of the whole thing, I can’t remember the reason. Also the second part is called Alien: Covenant.
It was not accidentally, it was deliberate... He sacrificed ( or was sacrificed ) to bring live on this planet by dropping his own active DNA in the water.
This scene comes from the oldest creation story of all humanity. In the Atrahasis Creation and Flood Story, it states that Enki needed another "God" that had to be sacrificed "with all his intelligence" in order to provide the necessary DNA(I'm assuming) to combine with the DNA of the Earth primitives so that they were able to bioengineer/create man.(In their image) Annunaki = Elohim(plural)
You have to imagine, with the vastness of the entire universe, that there is an alien race, millions of years our elder, watching us like we'd watch ant farms. They're like: " How cute, they're trying to discover how to harness dark matter. That's adorable!"
16:40 , This mask looks like lord Ganesha.Movie starts with a hawt looking blue alien drinking ..poison ??{why bro (・ัω・ั)}as a ritual and it creates humanity. Indic god is represented with cyan/light blue color.Blue represents the aura of god and color of Cosmos(since Indic beliefs consider god as cosmos itself and us humans being product of these universes, the scriptures talk about multiverse too ; i really wanna see a movie about that (≧▽≦) ). Anywaysss back to topic~ According to one epic ,Lord Shiva drinks poision to save humanity after a ritual between demons and deities (lesser gods/angels) went wrong, the poision is called halahal. (Remind me of Valhalla for some reason 🤔). The poision is so strong that neither deities nor demons can handle it so lord Shiva decides to drink it in order to save humanity and everyone else . The poision was acquired after churning the cosmic ocean(wut?? Seriously idk which ocean was that but i said cosmic cuz it looks sexy just like that). The churning was done for obtaining vial of immortality {what that boss dude wanted} .As a result his throat turns blue ,the poision deposits in his throat and for this ,he was given name "neelkanth"(literally blue throat) If we compare this "case study" to movie plot, the lone alien drinks poision (ewww) which creates humanity, the appearance of cylindrical things in the cave (shivlings perhaps? ; They are stone pillars representing shapelessness of lord Shiva ,the non avatar and actual form)And appearance of snakes (in physical representation he have snakes around his neck;snake festival(s) are also celebrated once a year in different regions of India as per their local traditions). All that seems so similar. Remember movie Avatar? Director of movie said he was inspired from Indian epics and as you can see in movie, the symbol on alien's forehead (Avatar) ,their color ,their rituals ,their connection with trees, their love for animals, their prayer for animals after hunting; was similar to what was ritual in ancient india when ppl used to hunt and thank lord for food and thank animal for it's sacrifice to feed the people. What if this liquid, alien gulped was actually 'Le jus d'immortalité du cosmos' 🤌 ✨???
In epic ,the ritual was churning the sea to acquire essence of immortality(that's what the leader guy was talking about ? Immortality?) and poision was acquired from the sea ,drank right in front of sea by lord Shiva so i am 80% sure it was inspired from that. So that also helped me understand the theory behind some scenes and movie looked good-ish to me.some people in comment section said they were too flabbergasted by movie xD
@kamscall The story is about sacrifice made by him.cuz he love his children so much.while he was in human form .the incident happened on eart and laws of universe applies to all those who have taken form.no one else was stronger enough to handle the poison but God himself.you will understand the point of story unless you are here to shit on someone's god .🙂

Not being petty but if I was to put a crew together for a discovery mission like this this would be my last pick actually not even close or if my purpose was to make a mess and fuck up be my dream team. I'd get a few David's to do the whole thing good ones not alien making ones.
I will never unsee the engineer as being handsome Squidward ever again. Thanks 😂😂😂💀
I think pretty soon they are gonna stop making full movies altogether and just make these short summary films. Its like movies for people who haven't got time to watch movies.
would it have killed them to give even a small amount of insight why they wanted to end humanity and why they got stuck on that military base and WHAT was the darn squid creature all about???
watch the 2nd part
for that
@@vipinsingh4383 where? i wasnt aware there was a second part
There’s actually some deleted scenes and shit where the engineer actually talks about the why of the whole thing, I can’t remember the reason.
Also the second part is called Alien: Covenant.
I'm pretty sure it had to do with inflation and resulting budget cuts.
Ikr
I really wish Shaw was alive for at least part of the sequel. She was a great character IMO.
That Alien jacked lmao
The ending was incredible to watch it mutate into the what we know as Alien.
Not they want you to believe life began in Scotland 😂
💀 and? you black hasn't evolve and still looks like monke
La scène se passe en Island.
I had not seen this movie, and everytime someone here talked about "the engineers", I just imagined them being Engie from TF2
It was not accidentally, it was deliberate... He sacrificed ( or was sacrificed ) to bring live on this planet by dropping his own active DNA in the water.
Its a link to Theseus
That alien in the beginning was kind of a stud though.
This scene comes from the oldest creation story of all humanity. In the Atrahasis Creation and Flood Story, it states that Enki needed another "God" that had to be sacrificed "with all his intelligence" in order to provide the necessary DNA(I'm assuming) to combine with the DNA of the Earth primitives so that they were able to bioengineer/create man.(In their image)
Annunaki = Elohim(plural)
Elohim , Ello to him is singular to me lol
You have to imagine, with the vastness of the entire universe, that there is an alien race, millions of years our elder, watching us like we'd watch ant farms. They're like: " How cute, they're trying to discover how to harness dark matter. That's adorable!"
There's always that one greedy goof who does something stupid and Risks everyone life🙄🤣🤣🤣
I've watched this movie several Times. It's great
This is one of the most sacrilegious movies ive ever seen.
Movie name please
@@samir........ Prometheus
As we can see, human is trying very hard to achieve the alien body structure. We even come out with supplement.
Concept taken from Hinduism. God Shiva drank poison and saved Humanity. Good job west. 👌🙏
Anywaysss back to topic~
According to one epic ,Lord Shiva drinks poision to save humanity after a ritual between demons and deities (lesser gods/angels) went wrong, the poision is called halahal.
The churning was done for obtaining vial of immortality {what that boss dude wanted} .As a result his throat turns blue ,the poision deposits in his throat and for this ,he was given name "neelkanth"(literally blue throat)
If we compare this "case study" to movie plot, the lone alien drinks poision (ewww) which creates humanity, the appearance of cylindrical things in the cave (shivlings perhaps? ; They are stone pillars representing shapelessness of lord Shiva ,the non avatar and actual form)And appearance of snakes (in physical representation he have snakes around his neck;snake festival(s) are also celebrated once a year in different regions of India as per their local traditions).
The fact that god has to drink poison says it all
@kamscall The story is about sacrifice made by him.cuz he love his children so much.while he was in human form .the incident happened on eart and laws of universe applies to all those who have taken form.no one else was stronger enough to handle the poison but God himself.you will understand the point of story unless you are here to shit on someone's god .🙂
@@MilkMocha56 dying god makes no sense ur not getting the point
Indian mythology is full of stupidity..
What was his workout routine tho? That contribution alone will save man kind…
It was not accidental. They are a deliberate creation cult with aims. They create the Alien Plague also to destroy their creation they were not pleased with but that creation got out of their control with Davids further help and animus towards mankind.
I find it hilarious that is found this video while searching for that one video where Bosnian war criminal drinks poison in Hague court to explain a meme to a friend
0:58 mf lookin like future Biff
Bro has that 0.01% Physique
god damn, Charlize looks good in every role she plays... (and irl ofc)
So in Monster you were digging that right 😂
I’m so glad I didn’t watch the full movie. Thank you for the abbreviated version
I like to think that the Predators killed the engineers on the planet.
"But all of a sudden the Engineer beheads David, and his head is separated from his body"
What would be the first thing that you would do if you found out that you were an alien?
Use my superpowers to make money and then go for an MBA.lol
Cool!
start killing everyone and preaching how humans should even not exist in first place
Feel justified that I think the rest of humanity are morons.
Being alien on earth is possible as humans dont have any benefit into the foodchain.
Not gonna lie, I would believe this theory instead of the dozens of religious books or beliefs out there.
I need to rewatch the entire "Alien'' franchise 😁
Prometheus is all about mankind being descended from a race of really buff Michelin men.
Actually the alien just need to sh!t on the river stream to spread his DNA.
I wish the alien species would share their workout regimen
The alien is looking fine thou
🤣🤣🤣
What's with the needless censorship? It was a head, a squid, and a zombie. What is this society coming to?
The Engineers are advanced. The Predator Species must be a natural evolution in that meta verse.
Predator corny af
I watched this movie twice and still didn't get it. So that's what it was about. Very cool.!
She should have killed the squid like creature. At the end it reminded me off the film Predator.
