Fantastic doc. I'm surprised Jericho wasn't covered. It's my favorite from End of an Empire, and I know one of Klay's children is named Jericho. Would have loved to hear some of Klay's thoughts on the song, concept, and personal relevance.

well i think like most things in life it depends some of the club music that have a rather basic beat with next to no vocal or much other than 2-4 variations of beat then i would almost say yes it's almost just a press of a botton but celldweller is by far not that. i have heard some of the albums like 20 times and i still find sounds that i haven't noticed before, like small synth pinches here and there. but yes this i by far not "just a press of a botton" :D
@@TheJackjackification true. for some reason in electronic music, the simpler the composition is, the more popular it can be (more predictable, easier to mix by dj's, crowd dance more). From that, it came to be believed that electronic music is easy like pressing one button and voila. And honestly it is easy like that nowadays, there are TONS of pre-made drums, melodies, basses etc that you can just throw in and have a ready track. Even the processing (mixing, mastering) is already done. But well, if you want to do actual songwriting/storytelling and go for an original sound, then everything is different. Also, it gets a lot harder to gain an audience, found out myself :/ That's why celldweller is more underground with his unique compositions and hasn't blown up and go mainstream.

Spectacular. Ever since the debut album, but End of an Empire especially. Klayton's drive and motivation could be heard from each sound reaching my ear, the tracks gave me strength to keep motivated and go through really rough times throughout the years as well as professionally, it stuck with me, it's no wonder I love what you do.
The stories being told through the music, you don't find that in many artists, the vocals makes them even more impactful.
Your music saved me from the depths of the unknown so many times, I live everyday with it in my head until I die with it.
haven't watched this in a while, it is good to come back to it. i wonder if we're going to get something similar to this for Satellies now that the full album is out.

I really like the concept art for End of and Empire. I think it was actually a large part of why I first listened to the album, and in turn started listening to more of Celldweller's music.
