Drought and Spearmaster were both conceptualized around the same time, which made Drought and More Slugcats softly 'compete' for who would become modding canon. More Slugcats transcended that and became base game canon, kind of. The first version of Drought was heavily rushed in order to beat More Slugcats, and this version that's significantly more polished was mostly finished by the time Downpour was announced. Downpour somewhat killed the motivation for the project, which is why it took over a year to get on the workshop.
That's good to know. I kind of hated the Drought mod when I played it because it was super unbalanced (no shelters by Karma gates, barely any food, food pip depleting every time you double jump so it's just Arti but MUCH worse). But knowing that context makes me forgive it a bit. It sounds like it was fixed since I last played.
Is more slugcats canon canon? Like, it is packed with the downpour DLC, but it still has to be enabled via the mods so I'm kinda confused about its... Cannonicity
Great video, loved seeing the Slugbase error indicator in the corner at times, very familiar sight for someone who plays with many mods myself lol I'd recommend giving the Wanderer another playthrough and trying to give that message you carry to someone else first. Remember to remain persistent, your alternative recipient may not be so eager to open what's not addressed to her! btw Downpour confirmed Suns to use they/them pronouns, Drought is obviously written before that and for now they only focused on porting it onto 1.9 from 1.5, so devs probs didn't consider amending that to be of priority easy detail to miss in Downpour, so i thought i'd bring it up if you were unaware :D
I'll probably do another playthrough on stream or just casually. I definitely wouldn't mind another trip through the modded moon. Also i never knew suns used they them. I always thought that was nsh. I'll try and remember but I can't guarantee I'll be able to lol I always kinda headcanoned sun's as him tbh. Kinda like how I hc hunter as she her even tho I always say him lmao

I think the pearl you give to pebbles is the "unfortunate development" that creates the rot inside his mainframe. seven red suns thought the taboo could be circumvented by creating a creature that would create a second creature to "kill" the iterator, it would make sense that the rot results from that attempt at self destruction by pebbles.

In one of the endings, you can hand off the pearl to Moon. She’ll read it and become outraged at the contents, asking why you’ve delivered the pearl to her. She then confiscates it, and thanks you for sending it to her, rather than Pebbles, predicting how dangerous the outcome would have been for the two of them if it had been delivered to its proper recipient.
@@groundhog3051 quick tip that may or may not work: don't throw yourself at the centipede, you're asking for it to give you a hug. store 2-3 spears in one location, jump around to lure it, and stab it a ton so it gets stunned, walk up and shank it like you're in london thats what i do I don't know if that works that well honestly

errr guy I need some answer, why is my lizards so small and scrawny??? Like even a Train lizard is just so small and its dorsal spine is even bigger than its body and their body is so slim like a stick, I have no idea what happen to them unless I went to do a Lizard customizer and load the one that I have mutated but nothing change :/
Creatures have different ids that change their looks and personalities, I think it glitched and all your lizards got the same id that happened to make them look scrunkly
@@orenjinokawa thank but I finally realize what happened- when I load other lizard file, it reset/change the other lizards that didn't involve, like during the time when I adjust this lizard and save it then adjust another lizards and save it, only one of them have the others' file save while another one is not, soo..when I load my white noodle lizard, the rest become a baby lizards because I might have turn them into a baby during the time I made this lizard (?)
