@@carnage9536 burst glide during heat rises basically forces you to balanced glide so just keep burst on. basically you conserve your momentum by not gliding but maintaining most of your height by tapping glide for like half or quarter of a second each time with like a second between. it’s just a feeling so play around with it.
The funny thing is while this is done using the old Mountaintop, its still possible with the Brave one since it can roll Sticky grenades still. Have fun with that information.
@@eyan2628 Hmm, that might be right. I've managed to get some good air out of four or five shots from the new one at the power cap (no loaders or the like for speed) but I can certainly imagine the sunset cap is better for self damage purposes.
New mountaintop will kill you after 6 shots. dmg perks DO affect self dmg. Most notably recombination and frenzy. this was tested at 100 resil but no other Dr sources. no idea if Dr works against it but is likely it does as it works for things like rockets and h gls inside of a well. there's currently no good way to self proc Dr without enemies afaik other than to drop like a well or pop a barricade for overshield. with the brave version you can get 8+ shots off with impulse amp. The old mountaintop is limited to 7 with loaders. and that's about it for this info dump.
