- Fruit trees naturally reproduce themselves from seeds, but most fruit trees that you buy are not produced that way for very good reasons. There are many ways to propagate fruit trees, and each method has its advantages and disadvantages.
Whether you propagate fruit trees yourself or buy them from a garden nursery, all fruit are produced by the following methods - they may be grafted, grown from rooted cuttings, produced by air layering or they may be seedlings grown from seed
The choice really depends on the end objective you looking at as a gardener or a farmer as all three methods have their pros and cons!

I have grown 4 lemon plants in pots (from seed) in my terrace. They've grown-up to hardly 3 feet in 2 years, but plant's are healthy.
Now I'm planning to shift those lemon plants in to nearby park as there is no fruiting on them. Please suggest if I should go ahead with my plan or wait for some more time to get fruits from them.
I really don't know how much is the time required to get fruits on lemon tree.

Lovely to hear about the growth and health of your lemon plants. If those are desi kagzi lemons then fruiting should start from the fourth year and believe me it will be excellent fruiting when it starts so I suggest you should hold on to your plants for now. Please do watch my video on lemon next week. It will make you understand it better 🙏

Hybrid and Grafted are two seperate varieties of plants. The seeds obtained by artificial pollination / cross pollination and the plants from such seeds are called hybrid plants!
