The average yield/ tree is 15 kg to 35 kg of nuts. The number of trees per acre depends on the spacing and the variety of macadamia. In Australia and the USA, the recommended spacing is 8 x 4 meters, which allows for 125 to 135 trees per acre. The average yield per acre is about 2400 kg of nuts.
