- Follow this incredibly easy-to-follow guide to refill your laser toner and save money. We used the Xerox B205 B210 B215 printer as an example. You can refill any toner cartridges that are listed on inkchip.net (as described in the video) in a similar way. Sorry guys, the toner powder price doubled, so the price is a little higher per refill ($7 instead of $3) but it is still worth it to do your own refills.

I have my 13 years old hp laserjet 1020 printer that doesn't has any chip in toner cartridge. I have refilled it numerous times and it still runs great. But now I am shaken by the fact that modern laser printers have page counter chip on them.
That's amazing! My friend got the last version of the Dell laser printer (before Dell stops producing it). The toner cartridge is still $7. I don't understand why Xerox charges $75 for the same capacity of cartridges.
chipping a printer like that is almost criminal, it should be illegal

Thanks! I got mine from eBay. I spent a good $115 then found out it doesn't have a cartridge. To buy a cartridge, I found a "for parts" printer for $50. It turns out the "for parts" printer works fine (the one I used in the video). So I have one cartridge and two printers. LOL.
@@BCHTechnologies Not a bad result! Save an eBay search for a spare cartridge, you never know.........might end up with two working printers.
You can turn the config page print off, from the settings dropdown menu on the printer.

The link for the toner on Ebay is gone. Can you provide a compatible replacement for black toner?
Just did this to a xerox b210, worked flawlessly. I was mid print job when the toner showed it was empty, but all my prints were still crisp. Getting extra pages is always worth it. Now I need get some replacement toner. Is all black toner the same, or is there a difference between brands?

Is mandatory changing toner chip In Xerox B215 ?
Thank you for your wonderful and explanatory videos. I bought a second hand epson xp-2105 the other day. Not sure if this was a good decision. It was out of cartridge and I haven't been able to test it yet. I'm going to reset the original cartridges and fill ink. (As in your video). I will print 100 pages in exactly 1 month. Is there a model you can recommend me? Is what I have enough? I don't want to fill ink all the time and mess around. Thank you. 🖐️
I will check out the printers that can be turned into chipless (inkchip.net/soft/). Your XP-2105 is on the list. Otherwise, I will be looking for an EcoTank.
Kevin, can this process be applied to color lasers?
I bought a aftermarket toner refill and I tried to make the whole and aluminum tape it did exactly what the video suggested at the exact point but somehow when I put it back in the machine it was leaking from where the toner would come out on to the drum so I'm thinking maybe some of these aftermarket cartridges won't allow you to refill it?
You may need to clean the blade. This happens to old cartridges.
@@BCHTechnologies ok I will try that Kevin thank u. I also have more questions about a workforce 3640. I bought a print Head brand new and I did exactly like video and it has error on screen. I did drop one of them tiny screws lol I'm scared to take whole printer apart. I now. have 3 workforce 3640 because I'm not skilled like u are fixing them lol
@@LuvRainKinnyaani What is the error code? There is no "new" printhead. All of them are refurbished. Some of them are of higher quality and sold as new. It may not be your fault, just a malfunctioning printhead.
