After almost 22 years of being televised in the country first via free-to-air television & then via pay TV, Formula One's media rights team decided to withhold broadcasting and streaming rights on any Indian platform & launch the F1 TV Pro App in India instead. F1 can now be watched on multiple apple & android devices in India once you subscribe to the F1 TV Pro App annually for Rs 2,499 or Rs 299 per month. But is the app truly worth it? Here's our list of pros & cons about the app & the expensive subscription plan.

It's just too costly for India but I guess diehard fans will choose it

Good video, very informative. It is overpriced for us though.

I really didn't expect this review. But yeah, it is really overpriced for what it is minus the fact I can re-watch the older seasons.

That's true..The subscription cost is high but me and my friend have shared the cost among us to watch on any device together. To me the cost of subscribing to Netflix is more expensive than F1 tv and me a diehard fan of F1 very happy to spend the price on watching it. Also I sometimes revisit legacy seasons to watch them for pure excitement.

A small doubt, with one account, how many different devices can we login and have live access not to just one?

I thought she says you can only stream a live race on one device at a time?

Where to F1 race for free in India??????

$30 is too much. I can shell out max $15 yearly for an ott platform which have only F1 contents. Even Netflix lowered their price in India but F1 is vibing in another dimension. After decades of F1 following now I am officially switching to motogp. Thanks JIO.

Are you even aware of Disney? Just because they were not interested in renewing broadcast deal with F1, doesn't mean that they're the only culprit. It takes two to tango. And in this case, both the parties weren't able to agree on the business value of this "sport" in India.

not having a legacy broadcast sponsor in a market like India doesn't reflect well for the circus which claims to be a "sport".
