You need a paid F1TV Pro subscription to get access to live content, or a paid F1TV Access for delayed replay content. If F1TV Pro isn't available in your country, you can't watch using MultiViewer for F1. If you have questions related to F1TV, we suggest you check out reddit.com/r/F1TV. MultiViewer gives you access to the content that you have access to in the browser and does not, and never will help you circumvent any.
What internet network speed are you using to be able to see this 4 or 5 layout with high quality video ??
@@dr.thahir it scales down the resolution on the smaller views, so it’s not as much bandwidth as you might think. Maybe 20Mb/sec for this layout max
Such a good tutorial! 💚 Think it's important to note that for the transparent map, you need to go into the settings and toggle on transparent track maps, otherwise the track map will have a black background!

Its a speech recognition and text to speech system called VoiceAttack. I encourage anyone to take a look, its awesome. I stream iRacing in VR but have a spectator view and robot assistant, we call her PitGirl. Its actually several different plugins running on two computers, but it appears to be a single AI entity. She has lots of information I can ask about whats happening in the race, but we can also have her change cameras on the spectator view, run replays of recent events, checkout other cars, send text messages to other drivers and a bunch of other stuff. I interact with the system via voice, but viewers can also make requests through the Twitch chat interface - something like: "!pitgirl replay recent incidents for car 5 with the chopper camera" and she will do it! I"m telling my friends at Apple that once I get the Apple Vision Pro, I really hope I can some how use multiviewer with the headset. All I want to do is lay back and open up all the screens. I'm not sure it will ever work, but it would be so cool.

Not sure about the DRM with live content, will need to see at the next actual broadcast...
Hi Robert, is this usable for live broadcasts? If it is, how in sync is the telemetry/laptime/sector updates?

If you are watching a replay, it is super easy. Click on the circular arrows for any stream and then select the sync all streams option.
For live events I use the map as my main reference - if a driver cam is ahead and hits a corner before their blip does on the map, click their stream, hit D to sey the debug display and then arrow keys up/down adjust the target latency by a second. For finer tune adjustments, shift-arrow keys do .1 second.
@@Robertsmania I leave my driver cams on a 3 or 5 second delay sometimes as no one on the planet can look at two things at once it works great something happens on the main feed you can watch it happen and then look away and it is happening on the driver cams. Mind you I have a quad monitor sim rig and am using all 4 monitors its wild!.
Great tip! During racea I was always trying to synchronize the streams perfectly, but as you point out, it is impossible to look at all at once.
So now I only sync the data/map/AI radio etc. with the main stream and the driver cams (3x3 matrix) delayed 8-10 seconds.

Hi, I was wondering how you get that black background, my streams open in my desktop which causes you to see your desktop background.
My windows desktop background is set to solid color: black! If you want to keep your background, there is a setting in MultiViewer for "Disable backbround blur" - try that? It may make the streams more opaque?
I cant find how to get the transparent track map, its shown as you explain but in a black background.
In the Settings, there is a "Track Map" section, the first option is: Track map telemetry transparency. Start with the three dots in the upper right corner of the main app window, then settings, and scroll down to find the Track Map section.
Might be a stupid question. Is the Pro version of F1TV worth it ? Can I achieve the same dashboard that you did with the normal subscription ?
I personally think MultiViewer for F1 makes the Pro F1TV subscription worth it and I enjoy watching the races live. I’m not certain, but I believe the regular access subscription lets you watch the replays and does include all the cameras, so yes you can build the same kind of layout. But MultiViewer does NOT let you access anything that’s not part of your F1TV subscription.
If you want to watch the races live, then Pro is your only option.
How does watching like this compare watching sky etc? Do you still get commentary?
Its great, especially compared to standard broadcasts. Yes, you have access to any of the audio tracks on any of the video streams. So you can select any of the languages F1TV supports. On the "International" feed that's where you can listen to the Sky commentators, or the "F1 Live" feed has the F1TV crew and their coverage. You can also enable the audio from any of the onboard cameras to hear from that car including some of their radio broadcasts. It can easily become too much with audio from many windows so by default the players come up muted, but enable the ones you want to hear and enjoy.
I don't have save layout button. All I want is watch one stream at a time, and it not to start as a tiny box. Possible?
Also can I pre-select highest resolution instead of auto?

How do I get rid of the telemetry above in my screen on the individual drivercams?
In the settings, there are options for the opacity and position - but I don't see a way to disable it when the live timing is active. I encourage you to check the discord and open a ticket: discord.gg/multiviewer

There are network technologies like VPNs but their use is a violation of the F1TV user agreement and I have no experience or suggestions to offer. Maybe www.reddit.com/r/F1TV/ ?

Can i use multiview on a Smart TV or android?
No. Windows, macOS and Linux are supported. If you do want to use a TV with your laptop/desktop you need to connect them with an HDMI or DisplayPort cable.
I cant seem to fing how to delete a layout.
I have like 5 I never use.
Any idea?????

I’m watching the pre season testing I don’t see any of those options after clicking on the video
If you access the pre season content via F1TV.com does it give you options for various streams or is it just one feed? Multiviewer for F1 is just an interface to the content.
@@Robertsmania yea seems like one feed, I looked at old races and the multi streams/views did pop up so I’m guessing it’s just a pre season thing

MultiViewer is just a way to access the streams from F1TV. If you live in a region where F1TV.com is not available, there isn’t anything Multiviewer does to get around that. multiviewer.app
