wait actually that's actually really fun character building that Janet just loves Christmas. i can just imagine her being one of those people who loves Christmas so much that she starts celebrating way too early because it's like the only time of year she's genuinely happy. gives her more character depth and a somewhat positive trait? anyway merry Christmas!
Janet's mother looks like Vivian. So I am guessing that Janet's parents were mostly abusive ( neglectful?) but they treated her quite well in Christmas and the holuday time ( maybe they wanted to show everyone how much they 'care ' about their little girl. ) They were a wealthy family and were famous and during holidays the paparazzi would go crazy. So they would present this image . I also have a theory on why Janet and Timothy treat Edna the way they do . Janet : She is narcissistic and prefers Vivian because Vivian looks more like her . Timothy : Timothy has self hatred issues. His relationship with Edna parallels his relationship with his mother. Maybe he subconsciously projects his insecurities on this child who looks so much like him and stole his mommy ( his mother becoming sober) . Because lets be real ,Edna looks like her dad . Pearl looks like Pete . If Janet saw them together she would be shocked on seeing female version two guys she took advantage of dating. And I believe this was intentional on Bri 's part .
