These apartments look great… will keep in mind for my renewal which is due in October
Prefer the One bedroom appt.
Ask for the total carpet area of both appts., and work out the feasibility of optimising the requirements in the one bedroom appt space, through innovative furniture set up and other interior inputs.
Look for 1bedroom+den , that will give u benefit of 2 rooms and you dont need to pay much as you pay for 2 bedro

Preferably, go with 1BHK, that is the 'home' which gave you Instant positive vibes. I can understand parents and all, but I understand parents will be temporary. WFH is a temporary situation.

Maybe taking a longer term perspective would be nice. Moving can be troublesome. Getting a 2BR apartment might be a better choice - opens up opportunity to host guests/parents, have a dedicated work office office or even a dedicated business office space (TH-cam) for which you can expense work from home/business office expenses easily while filing taxes.

I think you guys should go for 1 bedroom apartment as that appeals more to you and is more open as compared to 2 bedroom.

Check out bayview village apartments, newly renovated with in unit washing machine. We lived there for two years and location was excellent. Next to bayview subway and bayview village mall.
Guys 1bhk was the best , no two ways about that . I hope in the next apartment search you get best of both the worlds :D

Thanks for such an amazing video. The view from 15th floor is unmissable. But its a 1 BHK duh !
I am an aspiring immigrant and in process of filing PR. Will be moving in as a family of four (2 kiddos) so wanted to know your inputs on which area would be best in terms of getting an apartment. I am considering a 2BHK (not looking for any basement/ den) as I will have either side parents visiting us once we settle down. Based on information available over the internet, the areas that I have zeroed down so far are Scarborough (Has more Indian population and Indian stuff available around easily ?!) and North York. Besides safety, I am looking for ease of commute, handy access to shops, hospitals, schools / day care as well as parks.
Would be great if you can also share the links where you’ve been looking up for the rental listings and also the appointment process to book a visit.
2) With the videos shown in past, I see the houses don’t have washing machine / dryer which is much needed as the weather tends to play spoilsport most of the times as per the info I have. If the houses are rented out as unfurnished then which stores are best to buy the essential appliances (and probably their prices too) Would be great if you can throw some light on these points as well as that can help new immigrants plan their budget accordingly.

1. Yeah Scarborough and North York bith are good. I would say go for North York as it would be easier to travel to downtown toronto if required.
2. For rentals check on rentals.ca or viewit.ca
And don’t worry. Essential appliances are always included in an apartment. For durniture Ikea is good renter friendly furniture. You have an Ikea in North York
my advice to you is not to fall for a view or renovation......look for any apartment closest to a grocery store and subway. Also these deals sounds very suspicious you will pay more in rent if you stay lets for two years

Hi Guys.. Thank you for sharing this video. If you have not finalized on the house, I would suggest a 2BHK apartment for sure, to ensure that you have flexibility to use the bedrooms alternatively for working, sleeping and hosting guests. This will break your monotonous routine of working and sleeping in the same rooms. Also if possible, try to find a house which has its windows facing West. This will help with gaining wealth and prosperity as per vaastu and will also provide more sunlight throughout the day. All the best guys.. Take Care!👍

Obviously the one bedroom but no point in going so far and spending so much in rent if again 1bhk but sometimes Dil ki suno but the 2 bedrooms ones both were not worth it bec only 1 bathroom and also you didn't show if it had laundry in the apartment so then not worth the rent

Hi, Please explain the differences, the one in which you guys are currently living in downtown is a condo, and these which you viewed are all apartments ? What is the difference, Are apartments cheap then condos ?
The one in which we are living currently is also an apartment. And yes apartments are generally a bit cheaper than Condos. Because apartments are relatively older buildings. You may want to watch this video to understand more:

Hi, All our informative content is always in English. But vlogs we make in Hindi as Vlogs require spontaneity and Hindi being our mother tongue so it comes out naturally.

Yeah that is what we are figuring out! Though in terms of floor space its quite spacious. Even bigger than some 2 bedrooms.
