Milliband said he believes in wind. That's because he's full of it.

I can't decide whether those people were serious. Still wiping the tears off my cheeks while holding my ribs. They've bought the whole package and eaten the wrapper!

I suspect that windmill has a motor in it and it's plugged in.

As far as energy goes there is no such thing as a free lunch if that answers the question when will bills come down.?

Where I live, we've had grey skies and zero wind for over a fortnight now, and it looks to continue that way. Not really a sensible power option, the very reason that sailing ships were replaced by steam. Relying on the sun & wind to power a country, especially when we are all being pushed into EVs, is madness😜

Ask them about the "constraint payments" - that's when the wind doesn't blow or when it's too strong and the grid can't manage it. We (the consumer) still have to pay those PRIVATE companies for no electricity. Last month those payments were £45 million! Cheaper bills????

In the mystical world of Thornberry's mind, where no common sense and cloud cuckoo land are fused together by Goblins with nothing else to do.

Wind turbines create infra- sound and wind shadows which make life intolerable for sealife, animals and people living near them. The blades also kill hundreds of thousands of bats, birds and insects every year.
And battery storage is completely unfeasible so as more energy is produced by the turbines, more of the energy produced has to be given away. And don't think that that isn't a problem because we will still have to pay for 100% of the all the energy produced.
This is extremely important and the information can be found on TH-cam. But I can't provide the link as if I do my comment will be deleted.

'We are going to be in crisis if we don't put a panel on the roof'', 'Have a wind turbine in your garden'. if any sense could be made from the statements then we are all saved.

Greg Jackson is a legend! I don't mind turbines in my local fields, I'd hope there'd be some form of districting rules when it comes to residential areas.... if my neighbours were to put that up less than 10m from my house I'd be annoyed if it kept me up all night lol They are quite elegant as a solution, I don't mind their aesthetic, quite like seeing them in the rolling hills of Kernow!
