This is the first of three ambient/exploration themes that play at the trail and the monastery itself (and one of my favourite songs in the game). Will have the other two done and uploaded in the next few days, then I'll start recording Crèche Y'llek. After these are done hopefully in the next couple of weeks I'll get started on the Underdark!
Having such OST is equivalent to posessing the reality stone. Home? Oh yes - it was, is and always will be. But for every peace, there are wars right? Promise you will reupload should a ballistic deletion strike come for your channel.
The Mountain Pass + the Crêche made me fall in Love with this game so much. I was kinda scared and didn't know how to do the Blood of Lathander Quest, so I looked up a tutorial and I was amazed by the details that I dreamed of the Mountain Pass the same day. It was this beautiful big and free space of field, with sunshine, birds chipping, waterfalls, just overall extreme beauty of nature and overall peace. I was mesmerized, even in my dreams, I took it all in and I've never a dream this vivid, about a game, before. It was stunning. My absolute favorite Area.
Thank you! I wish birds were a little louder though. This year, I had the hen harrier screaming behind my window for weeks, it was the first time I've ever heard or saw this bird. Then I started playing BG3, and there it was, at the Mountain Pass, the same exact singing again. Kinda magical.
My freshman year of high school in 2003 I played Neverwinter Nights, which lead me to discover Baldur’s Gate and Icewind Dale, which in turn lead me to the Legend of Drizzt and Cleric Quintet books by RA Salvatore, which I read religiously until my second year of college. Eventually I put Forgotten Realms down to engage with other things; Dune, The Witcher, ASoIaF, rediscovering my love of Tolkien, etc. But this… I cannot articulate how much _this_ felt like coming home again…
I understand completely. I read all the forgotten realms books in high school and college and dont really play any games. Then, in a bout of nostalgia, I decided to watch Dungeons and Dragons Honor Among Thieves last month, and i absolutely loved it. That led me to look for more forgotten realms content, and it led me to BG3. now i listen to the soundtrack over and over, it brings me back to reading those books....
After walking through the emerald grove in search of the githyanki medicine, I find myself on Mountain Pass, and I see this golden light of the sunset, these lost buildings have given this place so much unknown sides and calming atmosphere... but unfortunately this location is not that big, as I thought that. I even thought that there was something lying after the waterfall.
This, the arcane tower music in the underdark, and the Nightsong prison music are my three favorite tracks in the game. ALL didn't make the OST. Really curious about that.
Is anyone else a bit sad that this place doesn't exist and can't be visited? No? just me? I visited Dubrovnik before got was famous and after watching i was like "oh yeah, I've been there" and now I'm sad i can't really do that with bg3...

The arcane tower music is generic. You hear it in the house of hope too
@@sushles that’s wrong, and also not even my point. Just that it’s not on the OST.
Love these. Thank you for your work.

Me too. I wonder if there is a place on Earth with the same vibe
@@Анастасия-ч7ь5ч kinda looks like latin america
It reminded me a little of the Meteora monasteries in Greece
