Because of Mashiro no Oto, I've found about Shamisen. I was hooked and immersed myself on how beautiful the sound it produce, it always give me goosebumps whenever I hear its sound.

When these guys are jamming in those fast intertwining parts I can just hear it in the back of my mind being played with lead/rhythm electric guitars. I though what they're saying in a shamisen anime is just for show, where you feel something when they play. I'm suffering from mental illness, and the way they play really does make me feel free from what im going through right now.
The best part of this is, that they actualy seem to enjoy playing their shamisen in front of all these people. It gives this scene a really heartfelt atmosphere. :)

its SHAMISEN not banjo, and their pick is called BACHI, traditionnaly ivory+tortoise shell, but most are in acrylic nowaday.
