Thank you for mentioning the heavy slide spring. This is something everybody notices within 30 seconds. Yet very few reviews bother to mention this feature that will eliminate this choice for some.
Looking forward to your future videos. I really appreciate and respect your attitude, and I think it embodies the concept of "protect and serve." Thank you.
Love the review. Got mine last week. The gun store only got one in and I got it. Great shooter - very accurate and light weight. S&W did a great job here!!!
Thank you sir! I am definitely going to share some very simple easy to do and easy to remember Hapkido techniques suitable for anyone. Right now, I just need to find an uke who is not shy!
Thank you sir! I have no problem talking to bad guys but to get in front of a camera is tough! Haha! I have several good ideas. Also other types of personal protection.
I subscribe to the take a couple, look for cover mentality. I don’t understand the spray and pray. It ultimately comes down to training. My wife and I dry-fire train at home, we practice pocket draw / purse draw all the time.
You and your wife are exceptional. Home practice is all about muscle memory and training. Also important in self defense. One of these days I'm hoping to try one of those laser/target devices for in home practice. Oh, spray and pray is an old term meaning that person who empties their firearm in an encounter hoping for a good hit. The internet has videos of people in convenient stores and other gun scenarios doing just that. Not a good practice. Thanks for the idea about home training. I'll have to put that on my list for future videos.
It would be nice if you could load the 12 round mags 12 Round without A magazine louder. If you ask me the Tolerance on that 12 round magazine is to tight.
I agree. I've owned several guns like that. Who at the factory thinks that's OK? Mags do break in and I'm hoping these do as well. I lift weights but my old hands still couldn't load all the ammo inn that 12 round mag. My Shield mags are the same way.
Picked up mine last Wednesday and I was shocked when I saw how small it really is. It almost looks like a toy in my hands (I wear XL gloves) but it fits in my hand well. Spent this weekend loading up 240 rounds of range ammo, heading to the range this week to see just how it shoots for me. This is literally a pocket gun and with the 10 round mag in it it feels like pocket change. I don't think the problem with the slide activation is the spring, I think it's so damned small I have trouble getting a grip on it. When I put on my leather work gloves it's no problem. If you've ever been on the wrong end of a handgun you know that few of us are thinking "what caliber is it". The best EDC is the one you hardly notice you're carrying.
Yeah, I can't remember whose video it was, but one guy said the trigger was too light to not use a safety. I think his 3# pull was a bit off. The trigger is fantastic. If you're just shoving it in a pocket without a good holster covering the trigger, you're just foolish.
I agree. I am now contacting holster manufacturers for samples to test. Hope they will accommodate my requests. If they do, I'll pop out another BG 2.0 video.
I've carried Federal Hydra Shoks for many, many years in most of my guns including .380. Nowadays there are so many excellent loadings. Especially for shorter barreled guns. I'm hoping to try Hornady Critical Defense, Federal HST, and even Buffalo Bore. So many loadings, so little funds!!!

Big big difference between BBs and buckshot! BIG difference

Enjoy your new gun!
And I agree with you, at least I know I’ll have it with me at all times because of its size and convenience.

What 380 ammo do you reccomend for it?

For carry, Underwood Xtreme Defender 68 grain
Good old 95 grain hats ball!
When it comes to favorite calibers, 22LR in a hammer less revolver is a favorite. Ruger LCR 22LR
HELPFUL HEADS-UP: I just picked up mine 3 days ago. What a wonderful 380. This new Bodyguard 2.0 fits the Bodyguard 1.0 kydex holster that I have.
