What you know bout the LIRR 😉...my old stomping ground. Went to Hillcrest High School down there on the Ave. Never thought I’d miss the LIRR or NYC Mass Transit all together. Moving to other large Metropolitan cities like here in Los Angeles where that kind of ecosystem doesn’t exist in that scale, really makes you appreciate how well done it is back home. I’ve gotta drive everywhere man....great content as usual bud.
I dont know much about LIRR lol except what i learned in the sim. Texas also does not have a complex commuter rail system you have to drive everywhere or take a bus
The fastest way for routes with many stops (like subways or regional trains) is to always use max acceleration and max braking. Minimize those transient times where you are slower than the speed limit. It is the exact opposite to the heavy freight train routes where enery management between kinetic and potential energy is so important.
@@BluGames thats exactly what i said when i saw the fare. but i had a decent amount of money on me but there's a sushi place in penn that i really like and i was pretty hungry so i just ate..
I'm an iracing guy but have always liked trains. Need to get this sim I think. I have a motion sim rig... hope the controller I use has a plug in for this! Cool videos man
Also, does Train Sim World use real weather? Because it's raining and grey here in NYC right now! (I could probably find out on my own, but you know, the algorithm!)
Whats uppp??? Great video Blu Games. Hey can you pause the game in the middle of a ride and come back to it??.. I agree with you I can't sit for an hour and play some of these lines. I don't have the game yet just wanna know that 1st. Peace Stay Up
I'm pretty sure the middle line of numbers is showing the driver what the max speed is for that section of rail. For example, highlighted 60 means 60 mph max speed.
@@BluGames I hear that it’s real world graphics? I have Microsoft flight simulator 2020 I wonder if they using the same technology. I’ve been FF through your video at all I’m seeing is inside tunnels and train stations I can’t find any outdoor shots 🤔
Tunnels should look like in metro 2033 (game) or like in World Of Subways The Path. Here the tunnels are boring because they are too monotonous and too clean. BOORING
How do you get this Long Island rail Road train? I have three trains and it’s just bringing me through tutorials I can’t just get in and fucking play this game is so stupid but anyway how do I get to Long Island rail Road?
Being from the Nostand Ave Area, I'm actually quiet disappointed in TSW with the scenery. It looks too clean to be Bed-Sty, home of Jay-Z and Biggie Smalls. Nice gaming though!
That distinct sound of the LIRR M7 and M9 cars accelerating and decelerating was so perfectly captured here it's impressive.
Thats great
That open world feature makes it ten times more realistic
Yes i love it
Wow the sound effects are 100% spot on that is incredible.
used to take the LIRR from the same line Locust Manor is on to Penn then moved upstate and started taking Metro North. Pretty realistic
Thats pretty cook. This route is alot longer! We only saw a fraction in this video
Being a person from NYC and taken almost every train route, ima say its a carbon copy
Great to hear

I take the LIRR all the time, for I live in New York on Long Island, and getting to the city fastest means taking that train.
Pretty dope
LIRR fares are expensive :/ i wanted to take a trip from penn-jamaica and it costs 18.36
Wow
@@BluGames thats exactly what i said when i saw the fare. but i had a decent amount of money on me but there's a sushi place in penn that i really like and i was pretty hungry so i just ate..
Haha very cool
It’s hilarious how realistic this is to the lirr
I live near the Nostrand stop. Cool to see!!
So cool
You left your marker lights on the whole route 😂
I’ve rode LIRR before and this looks a lot like the real thing.
The real LIRR electric trains usually run as if they're going to break apart, the sound and vibration etc lol
Duuuuude. You passed right by the putting back the fire extinguisher twice at Atlantic Terminal
Did i?????

No its not real weather
@@BluGames Ah well, could be a cool feature to have!

Yes you can pause to the menu and you can also save and come back to the route. But sometimes it doesnt work for me
turn off the marker lights, the red lights means it’s going backward...
Gotcha

OK at least now I know I will have the Long Island rail Road and train sim world two
Yep works great
Blu Games You know be cool if they add the DE-30
wait so they have this route for train sim world 1 AND 2?
Yes
@@BluGames any differences?
@@jimstha12 No, it's in the Preserved Collection for TSW 2. They're working on its last big preservation update right now.
What do the numbers above your speedo on the UI mean, or the highlighted numbers on the middle of the dashboard?
I am not used to American Rails lol.

Are they going to have M8 and M9 LIRR on TSW3 DLC
This shit is 🔥 smoke and play this simulator is crazy if u from New York u can totally fkn understand
Yea if only they would connect all the new york routes
Isnt The LIRR Route Only From NYP To Ronkonkoma?
LIRR has many different routes, but this simulator only has Penn/Atlantic Terminal/ Long Island City to Hempstead/Hicksville
Idk the Atlantic terminal is underground when the actual station is above ground
Where do you get this?
Train sim world 2 dlc on steam
