He's not the man with no name, this has been false for many years. Clint never clamed this. In the 1st his name was " Manco" in the 2nd he was Joe" in GBU he was called"Blondie by Tuco because he was European not Spaniard with light hair, hence the name "Blondie"
Eastwood's Character has been written in such a way that most of the time he seems to be an extra in every movie more than a protagonist. However, this is necessary to give his character that sense of Mystery. You don't know who he is or what he represents. He is not Good nor bad. He is surrounded by a lot of people but close to nobody... like the eagle looking for prey ... Calmness, violence, silence... No name.
The Man with No Name was only the main character in the first film of the trilogy. In the other two, he was a supporting character. GBU was definitely Tuco's story, not Blondie's.
The thing close to this was the first trilogy of captain jack sparrow by Jonny depp. You put the two in comparison you can see johnny's genius of portraying the elusive capn sparrow. You can say he got some inspiration on client eastwood no name bounty Hunter. Not the focus of the plot but there as something that really dripped in iconic given role.

That was what made this such a break-through character. It was precisely because the character was NOT the good guy wearing the white hat that made him so interesting and intriguing to movie audiences.
Yeah. Not saying that he's completely immoral or evil because he does help people occasionally but he mostly cares about his motives and well being above others. Which is why I think he's more the archetype of the Loner rather than the Western hero.

@@danwendt4292 I think the Spaghetti Westerns in the 1960s were a lot like Japanese cars were in the 1970s. The Americans kind of laughed off both of them because they were not made in America. But as it turned out, both foreign offering were actually of higher quality than the Americans versions. Hollywood just has to swallow its pride and admit that sometimes things are done better in other places. Even when Hollywood finally did try to copy the formula, they screwed it up because they just couldn't resist Americanizing them. Their movies never came out as good as the original Sergio Leone versions.

At the times i thought the landscapes were a bit familiar and later, much like in my teenage I found these movies were shoot not far from my city, around Almeria to be exact, southeast of Spain…where the countryside looks mostly like some regions of the west American deserts. Classics. So glad I saw all three. Clint Eastwood is the man
One of the hardest edits I’ve seen
A Lone Wanderer, a Bounty Hunter and a Rat in the Desert. the perfect trio
So fantastic movie thanks So much
I have never understood why most people tend to ignore Gian Maria Volonte. He excels as a scrupulous baddie and still a character with depth. I love him in the movies. To bad he didnt get a minor role in TgTbTU.
He is brilliant in " A bullet for the general "
Very good mashup. Makes me want to see all those movies again. Thanks!
The best series of move that the American movie companies seem to have forgotten the skill of making them
They were all made in Italy.
@@jonothandoeser and this means. Hollywood dumbness can't make a movie that's not a pile of shit now ? Sad when the perfect plot devices can ever be reproduced ever ?
@@danwendt4292 Italians are better than Hollywood.
@@jonothandoeser on this point I am not disagreeing with you I just would like Hollywood to learn and make movies as good as those series if movies
One of, if not the Greatest Cowboy to ever grace the silver screen.
Eastwood, Leone, Morricone. The holy trinity of cinema!!
Clint , the music your talent can't get no better
I saw all these movies at the cinema when they were released, still my favourites,I have the boxset, great entertainment
Me too... the best!
No one comes close to him. An absolute legend and one if not the greatest Western icon. Love Clint Eastwood’s western films. But The man with no name is the standout. Absolutely brilliant..
RIP Ennio Moricone
Greatest soul ever lived .
Brilliant, just brilliant. Thank you for uploading this 👏👏👏👏👏👏
"How can they EVER MAKE anything as good as these moviez?????"
I'll say it again;"I'm so glad to have been born back in 1951, life will NEVER BE THE SAME!!!!!!"
Thank you Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach and of course, Lee Van Cleef, all of your characters will forever live with the best time of my life!
Long Live: "man with no name, Tuco and Angel Eyes............"
Yeah
One more comment the music is out of this world fantastic
"there is two kind of people in this world, my friend, those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig!"
One of the best actors around and true American legend. Thank you SxD
I was born in Cartagena, Spain, and been watching those western spaghetti in my youth. At the times i thought the landscapes were a bit familiar and later, much like in my teenage I found these movies were shoot not far from my city, around Almeria to be exact, southeast of Spain…where the countryside looks mostly like some regions of the west American deserts. By the way, to this days it still have some remains of the little towns with wooden houses as tourists attraction. Loved those actors and movies tho.
Sergio Leone: the eye
Ennio Morricone: the ear
Clint Eastwood: the face
Beautiful editing! These are my favorite movies and I want to rewatch them for a thousandth time!
the end scene with the Coronal standing in the background and indio is looking at the Watch... is my favourite Scene from any Movie... the cinematography and the Score will never be beaten... Clint Eastwood... Lee Van Cleef... Gian Maria Volanťe... Legends 👏 👏 👏
Colonel
Super cool movies…I will sit and watch them all when they come on.
The lack of dialogue in these movies is one of the most beautiful thing in cinematic history. Clint = GOAT
Same for Conan the Barbarian and Mad Max Fury Road.
@@Wirmish Except those movies were awful in comparison to the spaghetti westerns
The best video on TH-cam. ❤🤠🐎
Best movies and music ever made.
Hey 🤣
@@gendale9992 Howdy 🤠
The Best of best - Trilogy 🎥 Thanks to Sergio & Team 🎬
I dont think that any actor had a more perfect role than Clint had in all of these 3 movies, its greatest performance in filming history. You have Stalone,Arnie,Statham,Chuck,Jet Li,but No1 wants to mess with CLINT.Pure BADASSERY
It is a pity that these days we can't look forward to such movies. These will remain in me eve in my next life. You can tell when a movie is legendary because you envy those that haven't watched it, who will get the chance to watch it for the first time.
I dont think its nice you dislikin you see my mule dont like people dislikin gets the crazy idea you dislikin him

My god !!! I enjoyed that...Brilliant, They don't make 'em like that anymore.

I met Angel Eyes at a Coco restaurant years ago,,,,I had to say hello. I mentioned to him when your movies came on my buddies and I would drink Jack and smoke cigars! He laughed....really nice guy,,,,died a couple of years after....RIP Angel Eyes
Loved them all. Great editing
So satisfying to see Angel Eyes get his comeuppance for being so greedy.

You know how good a movie is when you don’t even know the main characters real name and he’s still one of the most memorable in cinema history.
