Haha well I actually went to school to preach and teach. So I learned really good skills there. And then I learned in premiere pro, but then once I switched to resolve no one was making good, easy to understand tutorials that were also fun and short. So I taught it to myself and then taught others

Hey man! Massive fan of your tutorials (I actually used the 3D screenshot effect in one of my videos ha ha), just wondering if this works work with another clip instead of the solid colour, kind of like the glass effect where you use another clip!
edit: use Gaussian blur on your background clip

You have some of the best tutorials out there, man. You show the effects at the beginning and get to the point without wasting a lot of time. Great work.
One thing I would love to see, though maybe it would take up more time than it's worth for creators, is to show three or four examples of where and how to use the effects, uh, *effectively*. haha Would be good for people with no imagination like me. lol. Knowing how to do the effect is one thing. Knowing how to use it well is another.

Nice to the point tutorial. One thing though, You method only works if the image reveal is on a solid colour. What settings would need to be changed if you want the image reveal to be on background image, a map for example.

You have to definitely crop the edges of the inkblot frames or you will get the lines before you make a compound clip i learnt the hard way
