Hi Billy Rybka, First of all, thanks a bunch for showing such a nice effect. I tried it for the intro for the new videos for our cooking channel and it came really well.
Man, you seem genuinely and honestly happy and upbeat. There's a lot of youtubers who seem to be putting on a show, or want to be super cool, but I really feel like you're truly excited about sharing what you know. Thank you for being a great content creator!
Thanks Billy. You are so helpful. I'm using heaps of your tips and tricks for our 'church online' videos during lockdown. God bless you bro you are building the kingdom by teaching this stuff.
Bruh..... thank you for this. I've been watching your videos for the last week and today was the day you've earn my subscription. Keep the content coming bro
I gotta say there are a boatload of tutorials out there for Resolve... but yours are the best I have found so far. Thanks for teaching us newbs the ins and out and tricks!
Also, it is amazing that knowing these little tricks to pull right sort of features to your effects like transform or colour-correct or shadow just changes the whole editing dimensionality! Cool work!:)
Thank you again. I think most useful thing to me was that you can put media in twice or more in node tree. Maybe I test something else using that style.
I've used this effect in After Effects. I'm excited about nodes; and, now, I'm excited about using this effect in Fusion. Thanks for another great video, Billy.
I attempted to put another clip inside of the colored rectangle (6:20) and for some reason it doesn't work for me. When I attempt to hook it up to a different clip than the duplicate (medialn1_1) it just doesn't work. The rectangle instantly disappears. Could you please tell me why this happening, I don't see anyone else struggling with it.
@@BillyRybka encountered a little problem when I tried to spice things up. When I drag a different image to replace Mediain1, the glass effect dissapears despite having all nodes connected. Any solutions to this? Thank you so much
Hey, Billy! I love your tutorials. I just started making videos and editing in Davinci. I used this glass effect for my intro. I followed step-by-step on your tutorial and hopefully did a decent job :) Thank you for all your effort, will gladly follow your other tutorial content!
Hi BIlly, i am going use this effect for my dance videos to bring in multiple dance poses in the video at one point. I think this is really awesome effect and thanks for sharing it .
Going to try it out on this OneWheel clip I filmed a few days ago and make a loop...that bounces back and forth revealing though the colorful glass...thanks so much super cool tutorial
love the energy!! i was actually thinking of making a transition where two of these glass panels will pop out from the screen and then they'll cross each other in an X-formation while revealing the next clip after they passed each other! thanks for making it seem more possible now, looking forward to more of these tricks!
Really cool, reminds me of about 20 years ago doing that same glass effect in Dreamweaver. So long ago, but surprise the effect is back! I'm trying to think of a way to do the same glass effect with text, I think it might look cool. Thanks for the video and bringing back old memories :)
I really love your videos and enthusiasm! Always makes me happy when people genuinely enjoy what technology can provide for us. On top of that, this is such a wonderful tutorial, I'm very new to motion graphics and your content has helped me so much.
Let me guess - you LUV this effect, right? LOL Great video man! Saved and I'll definitely be using this in the future for one of mii projects. Thank you for teaching and sharing.
Please do mystical/magical effects like what you can see in harry potter please your tutorial is the best by far among all the davinci tutorial ive searched ever
Will you please do a how to video on overlaying vintage film effects? It seems complicated having to download the effect video and put it in as a separate opaque video track. I would really appreciate a lesson on this. Thank you!
It's f*ing amazing AND fairly simple, even for a complete noob like me. Sometimes you see effects that are really nice but so labor intensive an complex. (Yes, on your channel too little fish!) This one is an effect with sooo many possiBillyties (sorry, couldn't resist) just by tweaking and adding some nodes and still reasonably straight forward. Thanks!
Bro! Love your videos.. it is helping me a lot as a beginner !! but can you make a tutorial on how to make transitions like we see on the AMVs nowdays.. it has a combination of slow mo and subtle shake on them.. i am really trying but its not turning out as good as it seems on the video. Please can you make a tutorial on that :)
