    The green screen works perfectly thank you! For some reason when I added the green screen it turned Godzilla like. The audio wasn't matching the video. Any ideas?

    • @karlsvolunteervideos8410
      @karlsvolunteervideos8410 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      There is a tool that adjusts the green screening, you tweak it until the fuzz goes away. If your lighting is bad, you'll struggle to find a good spot that clears it everywhere, distinct edges help. The audio not lining up, I'm not sure how.why, as the audio in the video shouldn't be affected, BUT you can separate the audio from the video and nudge it one way of the other to re-line it up. Just right click on video and look for detach audio.

    How do I make it do picture in picture and green screen at the same time?

    • @kidologist
      @kidologist  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would have to do this green screen first, render it which means to export it as a video file, then bring that filed back in and then do a picture in picture on top of that.

    • @kidologist
      @kidologist  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes! This was filmed on a MacBook - You need to film with an actual green screen, then edit in iMovie.

    • @kidologist

      Sorry, this was so long ago, I have no idea why the resolution would be that size, likely whatever camera I used shot in that dimension.

    Can you have a movie with green screen over it? Or does it just have to be an image.

    • @karlsvolunteervideos8410
      @karlsvolunteervideos8410 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, a video clip can be used in the background as well instead of a still image. It's how I do my countdowns, see kidology.org/rubiks for a sample of a video with a timer over it, the timer was on a green background, so I put it over the video so you only see the numbers while watching the video.

    Does Green / Blue Screen also work with other colors? I have a video with a black screen lol...

    • @kidologist
      @kidologist  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not very well. Green is best, blue is used in movie making. It removes all of that color from original video to background, so black would be in a lot of your video and become transparent. Bummer!

    how did you create that green screen in the first place??

    • @kidologist
      @kidologist  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can buy a green screen on Amazon - or at one church, I painted an entire wall green to film in front of! A picture of it is here: kidologist.com/2016/02/12/making-lessons-relational/

    What if I had a different coloured backdrop? Say.. cyan?

    • @kidologist
      @kidologist  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The key is to use a solid color that you aren't wearing (or your puppet isn't) Movies often use blue.

    Doesn't tell you how to make the green screen video. It's already done

    • @Kidologyorg
      @Kidologyorg 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Did you watch the video? It does show you how to replace the green screen with a new backdrop. In this video, I filmed in front of a green backdrop. If you are wanting to know how to CUT out a normal background and change it to green, then yes, that would be a totally different, and much more difficult process! It is smarter to film in front of green, and then change the backdrop, which is what this video is about.
