Wow, what a fucking gem of a share. Thanks for all the hard work that went into producing this, editing this, and thus opening up your lives and pulling back the curtain a little bit for all of us to see how some of the magic comes together. Much appreciated Goose!!!
This was a Blast 💫🎸!!!! Thank you TABOOSE for giving us this ! I was so fortunate to see the Reading Show up close 🔥🤘🎉 Wishing everyone a safe healthy 2023 and beyond ✌️
1. Goose is the coolest band out there right now and I feel bad for those who don’t understand 2. I would pay a billion dollars to see all of the footage of Trey’s conversations with them from the tour
I actually have the footage of all those conversations. you just wanna paypal me? "feel bad for those who dont understand". feel bad for those who dont understand your opinion?
And I “feel sorry” for people putting their faith in this derivative stuff, thinking it’s going to stand the test of time against, say, the completely original, groundbreaking art of their contemporaries in King Gizz, a band people will ACTUALLY still be talking about in 50 years. But hey, do you, hoss. Thankfully, Music is subjective, and we don’t all have to like the same things. “Opinions are like a**holes”- a wise elder
The amount of knowledge that was spread backstage during this tour can neither be understated or understood by us muggles. What a wonderful thing to have been a part of!
Thanks for this. This is awesome! Loved Taboose tour. Would do it again... anytime. Those arena drone shots are awesome. Around 8 mins. Trey teaching Rick about his sustain techniques. I creamed my pants at the prospect of Rick using more sustain in his peaks. Then 12:20 in Trey shows the sustain off in the show with goose. Man I loved this tour so much. Also yes Jeff, that is the basic technique for the steamer. But it never feels as satisfying as ironing. I refuse to do either FWIW.
Watching this stuff motivates me so much to keep going! Just to see them in prepping an just what the life would be the work still involved but man let me get it! and I love watching goose rise I was super lucky to play the stage they did the year of peach but I didn’t even really know who they were then. I’ve been following tho since then an man I love watching these guys rise an rise!
this is great; loved the baby stomping a foot after a belly tickle, even though he probably is new to Nikes and stomps around a bunch; loved Jeff shaking the bag of cymbals; Loved Peter's wisdom. and of course Trey talking Divided Sky and geeking out. ♥
It is so neat to watch Trey being possibly the coolest guy ever. I guess I forget how much of a sound and music nerd he really is. I guess you sort of have to be completely obsessed in order to be the driving phorce behind Phish
I think have to be to be a truly “great” musician, especially as a guitarist. You can’t ever develop an ear for developing your own “voice” without that relentless pursuit. It’s what makes him him, vs the 99% of people that just buy the gear, just copy someone else’s rig as closely as they can because they wanna sound like that person. It’s so much more than being a gear-head; It’s a way of being. “Listening for the secret, searching for the sound, but I can only hear the preacher, and the baying of his hounds”
Thank Y' all SO much! saw phish in 93 and it was over. always wanted to talk feedback and guitar shop with Trey. Zappa and one of my music instructors were doing a feedback documentary for PBS long ago but it never aired. feedback is truly fascinating. thank you for sharing. i kinda got that chance. thank you! and if yall ever in Salida, CO id love to throw down with ya! peace!
Tell me if I'm wrong, But it sounds like Trey can add his "push on till the day" riff to "Hot tea". I've had them inter changing in the song in my head... haha
I also steam my shirts rather than iron. The trick is to hold your hand in front of the steamer until it burns the shit out of your hand. Then you know you are ready to steam on!
Trey explains his guitar playing on Divided Sky with official LivePhish samples is the greatest thing I've seen 🙌
So awesome. I would watch an entire series of Trey explaining these types of things haha
do you think trey has to pay for Livephish?
@jondoe5841 lol, he literally get PAID to use it.
@@endisnye ya but to get 4k he def has to pay out his own pocket. LOL
Goose using Trey’s guitar-talk to get views on their channel🥶😂
Seeing trey nerd out with the boys about tone warms my heart so much :D
Trey has been sober all these years now, these lame church kids look up to him
Trey teaching them how to get an audience to woo during a song. “We just keep doing it, people get so mad” 😂
Wow, what a fucking gem of a share. Thanks for all the hard work that went into producing this, editing this, and thus opening up your lives and pulling back the curtain a little bit for all of us to see how some of the magic comes together. Much appreciated Goose!!!
they are simply, the best
These guys work so hard for our amusement. God bless Trey. What a great soul.
This just saved my soul and set the tone for 2023. Thank you.
Dude I’ve seen your comments on YMH videos before! I remember your profile pic and your user name. Nice to see a fellow mommy/jam band fan out there!
@michaelmead5577 yes indeed brother. The laughs and the Jams. That's the goal for the year. Who you hoping to see this year ?

Trey, Rick and Peter nerding out about guitar shit was the highlight of this video.
