    This could a be a 20 hour HBO series and I'd greedily watch every second. He's a wizard giving us a glimpse into the forbidden secrets of the cosmos. I just love this man, what a gem of a human.

      Yea, got home from work last night and saw the new rig rundown and was super excited. I'd listen to these guys talk about their gear and music all day long. Page giving us a full 30 minutes is nothing short of generous and a blessing.

      The Squirming Coil Coda is truly where Page shines. I was so hoping that he would play a piece of that when he sat down at the Yahama at the end of the video. Every time I hear that coda it gives goosebumps.

    MOOG ONE is the absolute business. Leave it to Moog to create one of the sickest keyboards of the 21st century. It’s also $10K, so not really affordable for the average Joe. 😂

    Heavy, vintage and genuine classic rig, and player! Of course, many of us have downsized over the years to workstations. I must say, I was very pleased to see the CS-60 ! Most never give credit to this synthesizer, let alone LIVE on stage!! The 'linear' chromatic portamento is an early, one of a kind feature to Yamaha.
    I still have my 60, bought new in 1978, never gigged with it, only a bedroom piece, so totally like new to this day. I bought (when they were first introduced) a new Boss CE-2 chorus for it to make it sound more like the CS-80 with it's two oscillators per note. Thanks for this presentation!

    I saw my first show 3/30/92 in STL. Of course, I was completely blown away. The energy was straight up palpable. After the show Page came out to the front. I grabbed the opportunity to first thank him for rocking out so hard. :) I asked him how in the world do they remember all those different changes in the songs? He said this was achieved with hours and hours of practice, woodshedding and repetition. He was the coolest, most down to earth nicest dude! I’ll never forget it.

  • @garlandmusic
    @garlandmusic ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Thanks, Page. This is basically the perfect keyboard rig! Love how your organ tech has the grind in the B3 dialed in. I can hear that the percussion no-volume-drop mod has been done, allowing the percussion "ping" to push things over into distortion. Is there any additional amplification between the AO28 and the Leslie amp, or is the AO28 just setup really hot?

    Thanks Page! Love the commentary on each keyboard and the sampling of the sounds. Back in the day I played semi-pro with a couple of bands for weddings, proms, parties and such, and was fortunate enough to play with a clavinet, Rhodes, Wurlitzer and a CS-60. This video bought back so many great memories and how I wish I still had those instruments.
    The one I miss the most is the CS-60 for it's sound and ease of use, everything was visual and I could change settings on the fly. I also got a Yamaha Electric Grand (CP-70b) that I never took to gigs because no one was willing to help carry it - (we were our own roadies). 😄
    I kept the CP-70b, thank goodness, and now that I'm retired I treated myself to a Yamaha Montage 7. Boy, how things have changed! Like you said, it will take a lifetime to learn all the things that these new keyboard can do.

    Another amazing rig run through with Page and his amazing rig! I have further questions however!
    How is he amplifying the Clav? Is the Rhodes a suitcase model? If not how is he amplifying that? Does he run the synths through direct boxes or are they amplified in some way? What kind of mics are used on the piano? Does the Nord organ also go through the Leslie? Nonetheless could watch this over and over!🙌🏼✨
