Hani Meb I live in the United States but I am 🇪🇹 and am not habesha. Habesha means those who descent from the Abyssinian kingdom or empire. Omar Hussien Bro, the most stupid act ever a country can take is to assault a neighbouring country. This goes both ways, by the way. This stupid conflict will sooner or later end. It’s just stupidness driven by politicians to be in power. We both nations have to try to know each other and you’ll be so much surprised how much the politicians put us in illusions to hate each other for their own benefits. Ramadan Kareem 😊

My bf is Senegalese, Senegal has beautiful people. It's a beautiful country, we have the flag hanging in our living room, a big huge Senegal flag. I surprised him with it. He LOVES it.
In the American South, women from Ethiopia are sought out for their skill in beautiful and unique hair braiding. I took my daughter to their hair shop and left her. When I returned I was surprised to see 3 women braiding her hair at the same time. One was braiding the top, one was braiding the middle and one was braiding the back. The braids were so tiny and neat, and curved and shaped, like art. They were quiet and humble with peaceful personalities.

Also with damm good thick curly hair. I have seen several Ethiopians with bright eyes like hazel, or blue which create a intense dramatic feature. Surely, Ethiopians people are one of the most beautiful races on earth! Love from India!
No, Except a minority, we love Africans. Personaly I don't believe in Rascism. I know Ehiopians are black, adore the way they are. Please don't streotype or for good sake please don't paint me among those bunch of haters. I DO NOT represent those RACEIST people.
@@girdharsingh4287 those dark skin Indians only say they are black when it's convenient but never associate with Africans blacks, so I don't know where you get your information that they are Africans
Please read my word carefully. There are few Minority dark skin(black) communities 1. Idegenious Africans of Gujrat, Andhra Pradesh and Maharastra i.e the sibi or sidi tribe 2. The Dravidian community from nilgiri hills of Tamil nadu and its coastal areas. They are Dravidian having distinct facial features does not match with Africans. Please don't get confuse
Ethiopia is the epitome of beauty. The people with the most beautiful smile because to me they all seem to smile from deep within their souls. You'll know what I mean when you meet an Ethiopian, they smile with their eyes so happy!!! A genuine smile indeed. For me, it is a country with a very rich cultural tradition. And best of all, I love their food 😊😋😋😋 so rich with spices. I cook with my own spices that I mix myself & they do the same as well! I'm so happy to know that. ☺️😊😍If we ever have a chance to go to Eastern Africa, Ethiopia is going to be my first choice surely.
1.Ethiopia => it was the name given for darker color people in Egypt, Sudan , Yemen and northern Ethiopia. 2.Abissinia => the former Name for Ethiopia 3. Habesha => an Arabic word for Northern Ethiopia (Amhara) , Tigria, and Eritrea. Now , habesha works for all Ethiopians because of intermarriage. 4. Geez => The former Ethiopian language 5. Amharic => Amharic language became the official language of Ethiopia in the 10th century. Amharic evolved from Geez, Tigria, Arabic, Hebrew, etc.. 6.
binalfew Amharic did not evolve from Geez, Arabic or Tigregn. Amharic is more similar to Arggoba, Hadere and Guragegn than Tigregn. Amharic use to actually be written in Sabean Alphabet before it adapted Geez alphabet. Abyssinia is actually the name of Amhara people. Amhara means free people in Geez, Abyssinia is driven from an old Turkish/ Arabic word which means free or independent people.
Also the name Ethiopia did not come from the Greek word that means "sun burned people" instead it came from the Aetopis Dynasty, the dynasty that ruled the region after the fall of the Cushite Dynasty. The Greek came to used the term Aetopis to refer to sun tan people because of this.
selam mesfin Ethiopia male "burned-face" malet new allium. It is a name for tseyim people. Habesha includes both Amhara Tigria. The Arabs used to call the whole northern Ethiopia "Habesha".
binalfew The Arabs used the name Habesha not only for Amharas and Tigrays but for all Ethiopians. The Gurages, the Oromos, the Haderies, the Arggobas, the Agews, the sidamos, the Hadiyas etc all are Habesha. But in Ethiopia, we never used that word. It is mainly used by Arabs and diasporas aboard.
Personally, I've lived here for 20 yrs (we came here when I was 5) and I never experienced any form of racism. Israel is a very multicultural country, when you walk the streets you see different races and cultures, I guess everyone just has different experiences.
Matt Mattaway I really don't want to bring politics into this video, but I'm gonna say that I'm pretty sure you did not search much into this issue. Peace!
Hi Amena- I've always found Ethiopia fascinating too. I got to go there in 2002, and I had a wonderful time. I went to Axum, Lalibela, Bahar Dar, Gondor, and Addis. I was living in Thailand at the time, and my Thai friends were very intrigued to hear that it was never colonized, since Thailand was the only country in South East Asia that was never colonized. I'm lucky I live in San Diego, where we have a lot of Ethiopian people (and restaurants).
vicent sykes excuse you? Could you please elaborate on what you mean by ‘evil hearts’ because I know for a fact that we ethiopians are mostly not like that and stick together as one family. Please don’t generalise a whole country
Gregory Glass ...And you are a prime example why there is so much resentment, turmoil and discrimination in this world preventing ppl from getting along with each other. We must learn to accept ppl of all races, colors, religious background etc. God made us all different for a reason. Learn to accept and respect each other’s differences! Only then can you respect yourself! Self respect ✊!

ghanian and west africans are beautiful in their own way but alot of people dont know but the girl in the video and many north east africans look is not result of mixing cushites are black people who are tall and have fine features naturally before we got mixed with arabs most cushites dont have that much arab dna we dont have something that is enough to alter our looks our indigenous east african ancestors were jet Black people but did not have bantu features africa is diverse everthing is not result of mixing eventhough mixing happened if you see half bantu and half midle eastern child they dont look like cushite people i hope that i have explained
Ethiopia is the light for us Africans worldwide. One day the African continent will be united as one massive country, one foreign policy, one army and will be the richest global power with all the natural resources benefiting African people . Peace and one love from Toronto - Canada.
That's what killed Egypt. The ancient Egyptians welcomed nubians to their lands and they mixed which resulted the empire going In decline. And the Europeans took advantage of that.

No, Except a minority, we love Africans. Personaly I don't believe in Rascism. I know Ehiopians are black, adore the way they are. Please don't streotype or for good sake please don't paint me among those bunch of haters. I DO NOT represent those RACEIST people.
And for your general information to know that India has a minority indigenous african and black skin non-african Dravidian communties too.
@@girdharsingh4287 those dark skin Indians only say they are black when it's convenient but never associate with Africans blacks, so I don't know where you get your information that they are Africans
Please read my word carefully. There are few Minority dark skin(black) communities
1. Idegenious Africans of Gujrat, Andhra Pradesh and Maharastra i.e the sibi or sidi tribe
2. The Dravidian community from nilgiri hills of Tamil nadu and its coastal areas. They are Dravidian having distinct facial features does not match with Africans.
Please don't get confuse
I'm Dominican 🇩🇴 and always get told I look Ethiopian! From this video it seems you all have many things to be proud of! Much love.
I recently have come to USA and i can't differentiate some Dominican from Ethiopian
Ethiopia is one of the prides of Africa.

Ur also beautiful

Wow..this sound so unique..Ethiopia...the best..
1.Ethiopia => it was the name given for darker color people in Egypt, Sudan , Yemen and northern Ethiopia.
2.Abissinia => the former Name for Ethiopia
3. Habesha => an Arabic word for Northern Ethiopia (Amhara) , Tigria, and Eritrea. Now , habesha works for all Ethiopians because of intermarriage.
4. Geez => The former Ethiopian language
5. Amharic => Amharic language became the official language of Ethiopia in the 10th century. Amharic evolved from Geez, Tigria, Arabic, Hebrew, etc..
6. Ethiopian number System :
1••• ፩ ••• አንድ
2•••• ፪•••• ሁለት
3•••• ፫••• ሶስት
4••••• ፬•••• አራት
5•••• ፭ ••••••አምስት
6••••• ፮•••• ስድስት
7••••• ፯•••• ሰባት
8•••• ፰ •••••ስምንት
binalfew Amharic did not evolve from Geez, Arabic or Tigregn.
+selam mesfin thank you mar
selam mesfin Ethiopia male "burned-face" malet new allium.
It is mainly used by Arabs and diasporas aboard.
lots of Ethiopian people in the Bay Area California,... they brought their culture and yummy food!

BTW you look beautiful!
Personally, I've lived here for 20 yrs (we came here when I was 5) and I never experienced any form of racism. Israel is a very multicultural country, when you walk the streets you see different races and cultures, I guess everyone just has different experiences.
Amber Hadid, The Muslim Palestinians don't like the Christian Palestinians either. You Christian Palestinians are on your own down there. Tragic!
Hiwet Gazia you do realize the Israeli government offers a 9 thousand dollar bounty to turn in Africans to have them.deported right?

Awesome, some of the history of Al Islam I knew, but this was indeed refreshing to know that Ethiopia was never Colonized! Thank you!
You might also wanna know that Ethiopia colonized all of Yemen and Southern Arabia during the Axumite Empire. lol
Ethiopians are sooo good looking I love my people !!!!
vicent sykes excuse you? Could you please elaborate on what you mean by ‘evil hearts’ because I know for a fact that we ethiopians are mostly not like that and stick together as one family. Please don’t generalise a whole country

Ethiopia is the first nations mentioned in the Bible. and also Ethiopia mentioned 41 times on the bible.
i like it but one correction Ethiopia mentioned 44 times in the 1st brana but on this time mentioned in43 times
They are said to have the Ark of the Covenant spoke of in the Bible.
Ethiopia was originally called Cush in the bible or Kawash in Hebrew, which means blackness. Cush was one of the four sons of Ham. Ham is the forefather of the African nations.

i agree amena is beautiful
Im a Zimbabwean and i would like to agree with what Amena said..Ethiopians are the best people i've ever met. beautiful inside and outside..
The ethiopians are the enemies of black people, they were the ones selling blacks to the arabs.
kevin thomson 😂😂😂😂 we are actually a really good people we never sold black people.. you need to do some researches before comin here to comment on something you are not sure about!!!!!!
what the fuck u say men......nooooooooooooooo.............we are the real black peoples who resist whites or colonization 2 times.....and straggle for all black peoples independence.....not the enemy.....
kevin thomson you are just bitter and angry person that’s bad but ppl know that Ethiopian are beautiful , kind and polite respectful loyal I can say more oh don’t forget pride of black races
I'm so happy you love Ethiopia. Thanks so much for sharing this about us. We love you all too!

I'm Ghanian and I love❤ Ethiopia!!!Beautiful country with beautiful peolple😊I want to visit ET once again I remember my trip in 2005 I was 9 at the time and now I'm 23.You east Africans look alike you look a bit Arabian and Indian and have a different hair texture from us West Africans you're beautiful.
ghanian and west africans are beautiful in their own way but alot of people dont know but the girl in the video and many north east africans look is not result of mixing cushites are black people who are tall and have fine features naturally before we got mixed with arabs most cushites dont have that much arab dna we dont have something that is enough to alter our looks our indigenous east african ancestors were jet Black people but did not have bantu features africa is diverse everthing is not result of mixing eventhough mixing happened if you see half bantu and half midle eastern child they dont look like cushite people i hope that i have explained
It's not true this supposed admixture. It doesn't make any sense and the Yemenis are Ethiopian originally
@@ayahadam8299 we did not mix with arabs!!

Ethiopia is the light for us Africans worldwide. One day the African continent will be united as one massive country, one foreign policy, one army and will be the richest global power with all the natural resources benefiting African people . Peace and one love from Toronto - Canada.
DL23KMT Ethiopian here, agree 100% unite the whole Africa
DL23KMT Yes, it can happen with the right leadership! Again, the right leadership!
No China and America are not having that and your rich keep selling you out
That's what killed Egypt. The ancient Egyptians welcomed nubians to their lands and they mixed which resulted the empire going In decline. And the Europeans took advantage of that.
No Eritrea is the light us in Africans go to enjoy

In Los Angeles many Ethiopians approached me speaking their language because I look Ethiopian. Now I want to visit Ethiopia and take my daughter with me. I love this video it’s very informative please continue to make more.
Hi are you Sudanese?
I have had the same experience. When ever I’m in contact with Ethiopians I’m normally greeted in language as if I’m family because of how I look. One of my favorite foods outside of Mediterranean is Ethiopian.
Jazzy Jones funny, I live in Texas and me and my sister get mistaken for Ethiopian or Indian. I get mistaken for Brazilian instead of Indian. People always come speaking their language to us. My favorite food is Indian and next it is Ethiopian!!
Mariam Mag hello Mariam. I should be lucky to be born Sudanese as they look like strong and beautiful people. I am black American raised in New York, my adult life has been spent in Los Angeles which has many Ethiopians living there.

@vicent sykes What the heck are you talking about man? We Ethiopians always consider ourselves as proud and heart of Africanness. Not in superiority kind of mindset, but just love and brotherhood. We have NOTHING but #LOVE for our fellow Africans. This thing always pissed me off. Why? Why? Why?
