- I’ve either recently discovered the shows she’s mentioned in this video where I grew up with them we have like them for a while now and it really just inspired me to steer people in the direction of shows that I am well acquainted with the others may not be so well acquainted with or shows that have just started that you can start watching with me. I definitely recommended all of the mentioned shows in this video but here are a few more.

I don’t really get why you didn’t like the OTGW drawing, I thought you matched the style perfectly! It’s my favorite out of all of them next to infinity train.
I love how you said you gave Nico and other character your color of eyes
Because it reminds me of how I give my main 2 characters a cleft ear just like how I have one

Don’t get mad about infinity train because adventure time had explored a very similar idea and one of the episodes so don’t feel afraid to still carry on with the idea like as long as it’s uniquely yours and you do something interesting with that I don’t think anybody would have a problem. I’m definitely liking niko btw. And I’m not gonna spoil anything but the character that really couldn’t be redeemed was extremely interesting like I have more animated TV shows try to explore characters like them
Owen Denis (creator of infinity train) worked on that episode of adventure time! The concept also existed in a recent episode of Rick and Morty. At this point I’m happy with the idea my story changed to so no worries! I’ve grown to love my own concept more ☺️

You usually portray Niko as so calm and indifferent , it’s very humorous to see him angry

During the intro I guess each of the art styles by looking and I got them all right.
So I'd say you're great at recreating the styles and I'm pretty good at recognizing styles
I screamed when you included Regular Show, it’s my *second* favorite show EVER! IMO, it’s artstyle looks simulair to Rick and Morty because of the noodle arms, legs and eyes.
The Clone High boom was genuinely suprising to me because I watched it before 2020 and all the JFK memes came out of nowhere to me.
You did a great job! I love your style and seeing you try other ones is very interesting.

The OTG style has to be my favorite one here . The emotion feels more natural and even fits with the show itself , along with the colors !! 🙂🙂Even the silhouette has a sense of flow to it which i personally love to see . This actually inspired me to draw some more OTG stuff haha

What a great idea, Art Style Challenge Quarantine addition! I might just steal that idea... I don' think I've seen anyone include Owl House or the other more recently (amazing) Disney shows. Great work! I love your takes on these styles here. And I like your more graphic fabric folds (I hope that isn't weird to say😅 )

when you said your characters represent the things you hate about yourself and other people I choked on my cinnamon latte bc my concept-universe shares almost the same idea! was a little surprised and frustrated at first, but now I see why it can be a popular direction for storytelling. it's like sublimation while subliming.

I feel like you got all of them accurate except for hazbin hotel. As someone who obsesses over Vivian's art I've noticed that the line art (at least in the pilot) has different colours. The line art is also a bit to sharp on the tail and the overall colour skeem looks off. But I think you got the eyes fairly accurate!

My favorites are your style, Over the Garden Wall, and Infinity Train - in that order. I don't get why you didn't like the OTGW one, I really loved it! But to each their own :)
I was really jarred when you started calling the character Niko cuz I was sure his name was Tom, but I'm glad you explained yourself quickly haha. I definitely think Niko is a more unique and better name, but I feel like it'll take a while to get used to it. Is his full name now Niko Bluejay, or does he have a different surname?
haha thanks! I'm still getting used to Niko too - had to rerecord a few sentences from habitual slips. As for the last name. I haven't decided yet. I have no alternatives so I'd stick with Bluejay for now :)

I have no idea why clone high just jumped in popularity in the last few months but I don’t mind the shower has always been good and it’s had its niche fan base but once anything gets on TickTock or a place like that everybody’s talking about it and watching it I seriously hope it’s able to get some more seasons
I remember growing up I would always see things about Chloe hi but I would never actually watch it it just didn’t really occur to me that I care but you know retro rerun came in the clutch and i realized I was missing out

As mentioned at 1:52 I used "Ink Bleed" for my style of line and colour. It's ink the inking section of the menu on Procreate :))

9 months later, I apologize for the slow response as it's taken me quite a bit to really formulate my opinion on this Hazbin thing.
Dave Cunningham, creative director of Spongebob Squarepants, told us in an impromptu interview for Lbox Expo that one of the most important things an artist can do is to stay humble and be workable.
As an artist myself, someone educated in shape language, who's a fan of your work, and interested in seeing your contributions to animation, I find your constant pokes towards Hazbin Hotel leave a sour taste in my mouth. It goes beyond constructive feedback, to a point of condescension. While your comments are objectively correct *in consideration* of the industry standard of design, Art is an intrinsically selfish and expressive endeavor, and no artist is required to conform to the standard. God knows Gustav Klimt didn't.
Just in the same way to provide fairness to you, you have complete right to ignore this comment altogether, and not pay attention to me for your own reasons. I would, however, urge that you just see Hazbin, say "That's not for me", and move on. Your attitude towards it is unpleasant.
I hope you find great success in your work.
