Also how large is the expat community Fethiye and do they have their own organizations?

Hi Mick, love your filming. Me and my wife like you have been coming to the Fethiye area for close to 30yrs. What a massive change, but you can see why? We go every year without fail and mostly stay in the Yakamoz Htl in Ovacik. It’s such a paradise and the service is fantastic. Your films not only help new people to the area but all those businesses must love you for the exposure. Well done.

Thanks Mick, I just enjoyed your bicycle ride with my morning coffee. I am so amazed how the Turkish coast has developed over the last 50 yrs. We lived in Adana in the early 60th. There was no development along the coast, even no proper road towards Antalya. Greetings from Australia.

looks very quite. It must be early morning. I went there back in 95 when I was 16, I loved it. compared to Marmaris and Bodrum, Fethiye was heaven for me.

Mick, really enjoy all your videos and me and the Mrs will be coming over to stay for a month or 2 in Oct with an eye to retire there. We've travelled extensively (I am an airline pilot) and think this lovely place will suit us very well. Any suggestions for a rental close to town for a month or two? Sorry to go off topic, but you're the man when it comes to info on Fethiye.

Haha! My husband pushed my chair all round the park in calis and all the way back to the Letoonia boat at the Genis restaurant last year. Didn't appreciate how far it was! Must go and pour him a 🍺. Lovely to see but so sad how empty all those seats are. I hope things start to pick up soon.

Have walked these areas a few times, will be Cycling this Route next July 2021 for sure Mick/Trudie. Staying at Club E Calis Beach, Looking forward to Three Weeks away after this years Holiday has been Cancelled.
They say, summer in South Turkey is hell. Please correct your dates of holidays. I was in first dates of October and its were comfortable temperature air and sea, approx. 26°C.

Very much enjoyed your bike ride, I remember when much of that area was swamp! Fethiye still so beautiful although obviously many changes since I left 15 years ago. I'll have to come back soon and check them out for myself 😊 Are you still planning to make a film of Gunlukbasi?
Mick Amca, I usually do this ride around midnight and take the exact stops you did, I recommend you to do the same as there is always a nice breeze in those times, but no Ispanaklı Börek :)
It is a very nice bicycle ride video Uncle Mick. I have been to Ölüdeniz and around for a few times, but never been to the town center of Fethiye. As soon as possible i will be there. Who knows, maybe we encounter...☺
