The barbarian clothing set very much looks like Link is wearing Gannon's skull, which seems to imply that the battle between the two goes back even farther than we've seen in the games thus far.
Regarding the Navi part, no official source gave a reason for her departure, but while it may not be canon, the rom hack game The Legend of Zelda the Missing Link gives its own possible answer. You find a book explaining that fairies are forged from dust and magic, some as healers, others as guides, and once their duties are complete they return to the dust state from whence they came, never to be seen again in the world of the living. And it also says that the guide fairies who are destined to guide destined heroes live the most tragic lives of all, as they often don’t receive any recognition for their efforts and all the fame and glory goes to the ones they were guiding, and all they have to look forward to is the same dusty end that all fairies reach once their duties are complete. With all of this in mind (assuming you accept it as canon) it sounds like the implication is Navi left to die.
If i had to guess about the origins of the ghost ship and why it has a triforce piece is that its either a hylian military ship that was meant to carry it and then sunk, or it was a pirate ship of ganons that captured it but was also sunk, and in either case the power of the triforce could have allowed it to manifest itself and the scream would be the captain possibly understanding that or just simply being upset they lost it from greed.
Mekar Island reminds me of the small island in Lake Hylia in Ocarina of Time, where the warp stone is located. It also had nothing else but a dead tree (And a grave like stone that you got the fire arrows from)
7:50 - Actually Mekar Island is missing one Stal enemy, the Stalnox! Basically the only stal enemies Link finds there are no boss enemies, as Stalnox are technically mini-bosses!
My theory about Snowpeak Ruins is that it was, at one point early in Hyrule's history, actually another home for the Royal Family, likely hidden in the mountains in case Hyrule ever came under attack. The fact that there's a large bedroom in the center (likely intended for the King and Queen) and the appearance of things like a kitchen, a chapel, armaments, cannons, and a large courtyard suggests that it was probably intended for the Royal Family as well as any high ranking military who also stayed there to defend them.
Actually, the mystery around the snow temple in TP is explained in its manga if I remember correctly ^^ Ashley explains to Link that the mansion belongs to her and her family, it was passed down to her by her father, who trained her to be a knight, and if I do not mistake anything, the mansion is so isolated because her father was a knight himself and served as one for the royal family (Which would explain the weaponry in the mansion) It even says that Ashley doesn't mind the Yetis living there, I hope this comment clarified a few things ^^ Cool video btw, I've been dying to see one of those for my favorite video game series!
In the game _Ashei_ states she's "never seen a mountain as high in her whole life" implying she's never visited Snowpeak Mountain to argue for the Snowpeak Ruins to have belonged to her family. The Zelda mangas are non canon to the games so they can't be used as sources of canon Lore connected to the games.
@@javiervasquez625 Sorry for using "Ashley" (It's the german version of her name because I read the mangas and played the game in German, but nice to know how it's spelled in English ^^) I know they're not canon, the autor said herself that she added her own solutions to some mysteries (Like the Snow temple), she actually rarely visits the mountain herself in the manga as well, she just simply explains it when Link asked her how she came to know of this place (The manga could be seen as one of the many answers to this mystery, I'm not saying it's THE solution, but it's simply an explanation, but I understand your comment ^^)
Ocarina of Time does actually have the ReDead origins explained in Super Smash Bros Melee! They are magic puppets made entirely of clay and their masks are what give them life.
3:17 I could be completely wrong but for me I think the re-dead’s are comforting them. It would explain why they have a unique death animation and why they curl into a ball because they’re scared or in pain. The other re-deads come over to comfort them and maybe even try and help them feel less pain. Again probably completely wrong
A lot of these so called "mysteries" are explained in the games, by their creators (like the UFO) or in their mangas. The Ma island was clearly supposed to thing in BOTW, but like a lot of items, finds it's real used in TOTK. And for the Masks salesman, it has been implied in the official manga that he's a demon traveling through dimensions. Since there are mangas for almost every Zelda, the Twilight Princess ones explain the existence of the ice fortress. Also we discover with TOTK that Hyrule is either a small part of this world, either incomplete in the game, since Sidon's wife comes from another Zora tribe. Who said the barbarian couldn't be another tribe too?
Snowpeak and Forest Temple have always gave me the same feeling of trespassing in a long abandoned castle or fort just Forest Temple always creeped me out more I truly feel like Forest Temple nailed the abandoned atmosphere better despite me liking the design of Snowpeak a bit more the mystery is what makes both places so interesting because Nintendo and official Legend of Zelda guide books don't even tell you how or why they were made and doesn't tell you who built them
navi left because she had done what she set out to do. she was meant to guide link. link is a hylian, not a kokiri so she wouldnt be able to stay with him regardless. its not as deep as people think.
My pet theory about navi, with MM in mind, is that navi is links mother. In OoT the great deku tree explains to link how he came to live amongst the kokiri children. That his mother passed bringing him to the great deku tree. Being a hylian, no fairy would ever pick him. But when the great deku tree becomes ill he summons navi to guide link. With the last bit of his power he brought links mother back. Whether she is aware of it or not i cant say. But in the end navi flies into the sky and disappears, like a spirit who sccomplished what they intended. To guide and protect her son. Why didnt the deku tree bring her back sooner? It took a lot of power and time to do it to begin with. You literally never see or hear from navi ever again. If she was just another fairy she would have chosen to go back to the children to be paired with a kokiri child. (Sorry if i spelled that wrong both times.)
Actuallythis first mystery is based off of the real life flatwoods monster from 1952 where kids were playing in the woods and they saw what appeared to be a tall figure with a giant heart shaped head and bulging large eyes that glowed in the dark. Director of majoras mask Eji Enouma confirmed thats what they were based on and in japan at the times of majors mask release Japan was going through a UFO craze in the 90s and early 2000's
6:28 Lenzo has a picture of the Ghost Ship in an upstairs room in his home. If you look at it he will appear next to you and give you a little information (or lack there of) about the Ghost Ship.
Everybody remembers that time in legend of Zelda when they came across as abomination of a creature called to red dead they’re literally made of pure nightmare fuel, even I’m having nightmares of them ever since I saw them it’s almost impossible to sleep
I DO remember a partial answer for the Majoras mask origins from an old manga I read years ago. Keep in mind that I THINK that manga was non-canon though, so grain of salt on if that information is accurate. Evidently, an ancient hero slew a powerful dark god and took a single scale from its body. That scale would contain its dark power, and would, eventually be carved into the Majoras mask.
My theory about Snowpeak is that it was originally built as a fortified refuge for the royal family and other nobles in times of war, but that with Hyrule having been at peace for so long since Ganondorf's defeat, it was eventually abandoned and mostly forgotten. The country seems to have fallen into decline, so it makes sense that they'd abandon a lot of their outer defenses. The people of Castle Town are rich, decadent, and oblivious, while formerly important villages like Kakariko seem to be scraping by. Infrastructure like the bridges over Eldin Canyon and Lake Hylia have been left to crumble. And when Zant invades, Hyrule is caught completely off guard with only useless and cowardly soldiers defending Castle Town.
Majoras mask has a legend behind it. And One of the biggest fan beliefs of what happened to Navi was she went off to die as fairy's are only for kikori and her quest was finished. Her life cycle was over. The deku tree could no longer designate her
I play the Majora's Mask and Arcana of time on the N64. What was weird about it though is that both of the games came pre-loaded with nearly completed save files of the game right on the cartridge somehow and I remember the Majora's Mask one being particularly broken and weird. Got both of the cartridges from GameStop back when they still sold 64 games.
Nintendo answered questions regarding the aliens in Majora’s Mask. There was an alien boom in Japan. The director answered this in a 2015 interview with GameStop.
The Re-deads and Gibdos are said to be monsters in the official guides, but they do look way too human and most of the people are just gone from the world in OoT, implying that they are reanimated corpses. The dark interlopers looking like dark link in twilight princess symbolise that link actually died when the twilight engulfs him and these dark entities took his original body to use the triforce, as this link is the direct descendent of the hero of time. This is also why link first turns into a wolf, because his body is gone, but his spirit "has too much courage" to completely disintegrate. The masks were said to engulf the last moments of the person, which is also why you can see some masks screaming when put on, indicating that they died in pain. I'm missing the kokiri forest allegedly turning people into Stalfos, yet it turned Link's mom into a tree and doesn't seem to influence Link at all.
The Aliens one was an older stariotype for Aliens and abducting cows. The snow peaks mansion is said to have belonged to Ashei's family (the woman wearing a yeti custume at the zone entrance), who also hates the weakness of the castle soldiers. Ashei comes from a family of warriors and soldiers, so it may by why if her family owned it, it'd be an armory. The mansion existed a while, they say it's post oot, maybe something to do with Ganondorf? For the Dark interlopers, the could be related to the ones the sages and midna spoke of that created midnas crown/helm (aka fused shadows). Anything in contact with fused shadows transforms and many times corrupted like the bosses that you had to defeat to get them.
Link’s Awakening is all a dream, so anything seen or heard is all part of Link’s mind. The three skeletons could represent three people who died during the course of it’s prequel A Link to the Past (his uncle, the King, and the priest who shelters Zelda early in the game) or just a representation of his fear in general. Just spitballing there… there’s always the chance the answer is something more mundane, but we do know that it’s all in Link’s head at least.
What's really weird is the fact that they're shown as having no flesh whatsoever, yet if they'd died from hanging and had been left there, their flesh would've just slowly rotted away and eventually, gravity would send the skeletal remains to the floor. Now if they'd been placed in cramped hanging cages and left to starve to death, their remains would still be where they were left.
Wait i think theres a character named mekar in wind waker and what if the wind was like a reference to wind waker because a wind waker song can control the wind
There is actully one NPC that knows of the ghost ship in windwaker some of the fishmen will tell you about a sea chart that will allow you to enter it but they dont mention gjost ship they inly say it
my theory about the forest temple (which i have had since first playing it even before majoras mask came out) was that it was a fortress to protect hyrule from other dimension invading and protecting people from traveling to other dimensions.
Here's another creepy mystery from Wind Waker. One of the islands is a vacation cabana the school teacher gifts Link (...right) which seems like a nice, normal getaway. There turns out to have a secret passage to underneath. With ReDeads in it. What the devil was that teacher DOING in there?!? Or did the undead somehow invade her house independently? Was that why she stopped using it and pawned it off to a child? Also, the door appears to not only be capable of speech, but has it's own personality and will. Maybe the cabana was built on cursed ground, I don't even.
You don't consider the most plausible hypothesis: that the basement with these redeads may be leftover from times before the great deluge, when the place had another purpose. That school teacher is more likely just an ordinary school teacher who inherited a valuable estate, ignoring its dark secret. It seems to have an illustrious yet obscure backstory. Maybe it was the former residence of a sheikah, long ago? The Butler himself is created from magic, as he's pretty much the front door of the cabana. Still, he isn't aware of the existence of the secret passageway to the triforce chart, as he would never tolerate a place to be dirty and full of rats and reanimated corpses. Mrs. Marie doesn't mind to exchange her title of property with pendants, which makes me think she's genuinely innocent... If she had something to hide, why would she consider the deal? PS: I have noticed this trope in Japanese media's writing, where female teachers seem to have hidden riches or are more well of than their humble status suggests. I don't know its name, but it seems to have been used here.
Here's something, how many of the masks that the Happy Mask Salesman has are actually bodies? It's him that teaches Link the Song of Healing which heals the soul of the person the song is played for, allowing it to pass on while the body transforms into a mask, and some even transform Link into a the species that the mask represents, so... How many people did the Happy Mask Salesman play the Song of Healing for? How many of the masks in his bag were actually people?
If you do more Zelda stuff can I recommend something to you a couple of years ago I discovered a out of bounds cave in Skyward Sword it's in the Lanayru Gorge above a Sand fall I made a video about it if you want to know more.
You know how when you play the Song of Healing, the dying person’s soul leaves behind a mask with mystical properties? What if that happened with Majora? What if he was some dark god and he fell during battle with none other than… the Fierce Deity, himself. Majora’s followers could’ve gone to his nearly expired form and performed a ritual of some kind that functions similarly to the Song of Healing, that way his evil could still survive and spread despite his physical form perishing. The Fierce Deity was probably also mortally wounded in the battle and in his final moments, maybe warned his followers that they might not have seen the last of Majora. So they probably used a proper Song of Healing on him and made the Fierce Deity Mask.
For Navi departure... i would guess that she was just want to look through the window... but Link quit the temple and the door shut behind him... traping Navi in the temple of time for ever... For the "Link statue"... it is creepy and unsettling due to the fact that it is the only statue that have eyes... revoking the belief that Termina is the "trial of the deads"...
You forgot about the greatest Zelda mystery of all time: What the heck is the lore behind the Link's Awakening mask in TotK?!?!?!??!?!?! Is it the Hero of Legend's mummified head? Is it just a mask representing the Hero, made by later residents of the ruined timeline?
The Forest Temple is a sacred place in Hyrule that only a few may ever enter. This is why it's hidden away. The Forest Medallion and the Forest Sage have unique and important powers that should never be used for evil, otherwise it would spell doom for the entire kingdom of Hyrule. The Forest Temple is a literal temple for the Forest Sage and all Forest Sages of the past. Same thing with all other temples and their related sages. All the medallions and the sages have their very important roles of keeping balance to Hyrule. These temples were built for the sages. Oh and also, redeads originate from the Shadow Temple, while it was being controlled by evil. Normally though, this would've never happened.

Yeah.
Ok green Kirby
Bruh
Omg yes
That’s what I’m saying!
3:23 - ReDeads aren't anywhere as creepy as Dead Hand! Seriously Dead Hand is the creepiest and hasn't returned since OoT!
He sounds like and gives off vibes of Patrick Warburton in the series of the unfortunate events.
Great video - How about an Unsolved Mysteries episode? Like Robert Stack style
It also had nothing else but a dead tree (And a grave like stone that you got the fire arrows from)
I want to say the grave there is implied to be Ruto's mother, but that might have been speculation.
Great video dude, this was super entertaining
7:50 - Actually Mekar Island is missing one Stal enemy, the Stalnox! Basically the only stal enemies Link finds there are no boss enemies, as Stalnox are technically mini-bosses!
In smash bros 3ds there is a description about redeads that says they are not zombies and were never human, they are made out of clay
I was waiting for another video about creepy myths about zelda.😊😊😊
My theory about Snowpeak Ruins is that it was, at one point early in Hyrule's history, actually another home for the Royal Family, likely hidden in the mountains in case Hyrule ever came under attack. The fact that there's a large bedroom in the center (likely intended for the King and Queen) and the appearance of things like a kitchen, a chapel, armaments, cannons, and a large courtyard suggests that it was probably intended for the Royal Family as well as any high ranking military who also stayed there to defend them.
your content and quality deserves infinite subs!!
Answer for Link's Awakening :
It's a dream
I believe "Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass" had a Ghost Ship that housed 4 sisters.
Actually, the mystery around the snow temple in TP is explained in its manga if I remember correctly ^^ Ashley explains to Link that the mansion belongs to her and her family, it was passed down to her by her father, who trained her to be a knight, and if I do not mistake anything, the mansion is so isolated because her father was a knight himself and served as one for the royal family (Which would explain the weaponry in the mansion) It even says that Ashley doesn't mind the Yetis living there, I hope this comment clarified a few things ^^
Cool video btw, I've been dying to see one of those for my favorite video game series!
Manga doesn't taste good
None of the manga are canon. That's not opinion. They are literally noncanon material. They're fanfics
Ocarina of Time does actually have the ReDead origins explained in Super Smash Bros Melee! They are magic puppets made entirely of clay and their masks are what give them life.
Love your content! Thanks For this🔥🔥🔥🔥

5:05 is that the ost from Spirit tracks -“lost in the woods & storm”?
Awesome Video Bro!
Damn it, Bobby. Propane, not Cocaine.
8:08 it’s the resting place of a korok in Windwaker, it explains the winds and how when a korok dies it will become a tree
We shouldn't need external stuff to solve mysteries
A request for some more creepy video game mysteries: Metroid, Kirby. And Pokémon
Pretty sure Mekar island is supposed to be there for farming purposes. Kill the enemies, get a bunch of good weapons and elemental arrows, simple
answer to all the mysteries: there's a creator that made things unsolved and mysterious for our interpretation called the video game developers lol
6:28 Lenzo has a picture of the Ghost Ship in an upstairs room in his home. If you look at it he will appear next to you and give you a little information (or lack there of) about the Ghost Ship.
Your content is quality 👌
The creepy island from bftw was probably made for grinding purposes so people could get good weapons
And
One of the biggest fan beliefs of what happened to Navi was she went off to die as fairy's are only for kikori and her quest was finished. Her life cycle was over. The deku tree could no longer designate her
Molders dungeon doesn't need a reason, they're Nightmares!😮
The barbarian armor is from the ZONAI TRIBE
Is it tho
Theres no direct proof of this
Doesn’t look designed by them at all.
Its from the Lomei tribe, not Zonai. The belief is that the Lomei were the dwellers of the Depths and put up all those statues.
do more creepy mario mysteries and busting mario galaxy and sunshine myths pls!!
Hi ❤ infinite bits I love your videos
He could mention the cursed statue from BotW near Fort Hateno.
Infinite bits I love ur vids
+q😊q
Nintendo answered questions regarding the aliens in Majora’s Mask. There was an alien boom in Japan. The director answered this in a 2015 interview with GameStop.
When the female yeti changes evil the first couple of times i get chills
these aliens (0:31) are supposed to resemble a cryptid known as the flatwoods monster
2:37 Nepoleon lived there.
Great video
It would be great to see more videos about TOTK and BOTW
That suit makes the video.
If Bit made a part two we would definitely talk about the moon 🌚 from major as mask for sure
Nice vid
I think it’s pretty safe to say The redeads are mourning, that’s why they crouch next to the fallen redeads
10:48 no the happy mask salesman just leaves he even says it himself
No faffing about! Right to business. Instant sub!
In the happy mask salesman chapter it was spelt
“happy mass salesman “
0:37 The Milkyway was a big hit
Here's something, how many of the masks that the Happy Mask Salesman has are actually bodies? It's him that teaches Link the Song of Healing which heals the soul of the person the song is played for, allowing it to pass on while the body transforms into a mask, and some even transform Link into a the species that the mask represents, so... How many people did the Happy Mask Salesman play the Song of Healing for? How many of the masks in his bag were actually people?
1:12 its just hamburger with lettice the people where just starved to death
(they people killed his brothers orhis fellow burgers)
If you do more Zelda stuff can I recommend something to you a couple of years ago I discovered a out of bounds cave in Skyward Sword it's in the Lanayru Gorge above a Sand fall I made a video about it if you want to know more.
Bit if a correction, but travelers get turned into Stalfos in the lost woods while the Kokiri seem to be immune to said effect.
9:19 It’s more likely they are tied to the tribe from Termina who made Majora’s Mask as even the eye style itself is the same between the two masks.
14:56 that armor was used for zoni tribe
Skull enemies attack? What in the Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen! They just want the hat back.
6:29 incorrect Lenzo the photographer knows about the ship and the Fish knows as well
You forgot about the greatest Zelda mystery of all time: What the heck is the lore behind the Link's Awakening mask in TotK?!?!?!??!?!?!
At 17:33 you say the lost woods turns kokiri into stalfos when actually kokiri turn into skull kids and adults turn to stalfos!
Korkiri died without the masjid of great deku tree, accually kids that go into lost woods turn into skull kids and adults turn to stalfos
Man playing the hd one had my brain all messed up it felt like the game was flipped then I got to this part 2:22 looked up a guide then seen the game was flipped around for whatever reason lol. I really enjoyed that game tho, had really nice settings felt more like a zelda game for adults. I haven't really played another one since then tho.
2:21 fish from ZORAS village? ZORAS ARE IN THAT GAME?!?!
We are the best person to get debug for the second part of the project 👏 👍 👌 🙌 😀 😄 👏
Love this one
One theory states that the happy mask salesman is actually the Grim Reaper and those "masks" are supposedly trapped Souls he's carrying to the afterlife
0:47 dddditektiv bits hear
Bro you could easily make a horror movie just based on game theories
