Thank you for your inspirational video, I’m 60 years old and I’ve waking 4.30 - 5 am most of my life , I drink lemon juice too , meditate , I used to run , I walk now come rain hail or snow I’m out !! I come back and do 15-20 mins of yoga and I feel 30 years old !! So I can definitely say it works ! 🙏😘
Good job!
Awesome stuff, Valerie! Very inspiring. Health is wealth.
Wow
Hallo. Imagine if most of young people start doing some of your advices from now on before they get old! That's will be great 👍.
this summary helped to know what´s in the video :)
I appreciate how authentic you both are. I feel like you're really invested in helping everyone here to better themselves.
Mmmmm
so true.😇
Yes.. I never felt so natural watching yoga channel. They are great.
My thoughts exactly! Authenticity, compassion...love them
I totally agree about having kids. There is no excuse not to take care of yourself. I am a mother of three young children and when I choose to make myself a priority, everything in my life and the lives of my family members improves. I used to make every excuse in the world, and my quality of life suffered for it. And yes if you have a newborn under six months old it may not be possible in that season..But my best advice for other mamas is make yourself a priority. It’s not selfish, it’s essential.Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.🦋🦋🦋
I’ve finished seeing this video for maybe the 4th or 5th time. You two inspire me soooo much. You look so genuine, true, at peace!
Every time I’m experiencing a difficult moment, I come back to this video cause it gives me so much energy, inspiration and courage to embrace the lifestyle I want.
I’ll never be able to explain how important was for me to cross your way. You, beautiful humans, changed my life.
Thanks so much, with all my kindness and gratitude. 🙏🏻♥️
You guys genuinely saved my life, if you’re reading this and suffer with anxiety and depression, just give these a chance to get though to you trust the process and trust yourself, the inner peace I’ve found from yoga and meditation is unmatched to anything I’ve done in my life. You guys are my hero’s 💚💚💚💚
thank you so much for sharing!!
I love how much you can see that Flow adores Bre. It's always nice to see that. Thank you guys for these tips. I'm a night owl, but little by little I'm changing that and feeling better.
Another happy member of the 5am club here.
I spent soooo many years dreading the morning. Now I love getting up early and having MY time.
Do you first!
Although I'm a person of scheduling, routine, and organisation, I do not have specific morning routines. I switch it up depending on my mood when I wake up. I do not force myself to do anything I do not feel like, that meaning I do not give up easily on moving my body, I find the motivation elsewhere. Great video, you give me inspiration for my channel. Keep it up!
Me too! I like to move within the current of my own waves 👍🏼
This was great. I've been following you guys since April and your lifestyle has inspired me so much and changed my life. Ive been waking up at 4 to practice and meditate, now I'm studying for massage therapy, reiki and yoga instructor. You guys are my heroes.
Hey Bre and Flo.... just wanted you guys to know that discovering your fantastic yoga videos is the highlight of my 2020. I had an extremely challenging year and your channel has been pivotal in keeping me mentally strong. I am determined to meet both of you at one of your retreats. Best of everything to you both for 2021.
Much love
Merin
I love joining the 5 am,but as a medical lab technician, I have night shift, during the pandemic, we have more overnight shift, it’s hard to reset my circadian rhythm. But when I have daytime work or day off,I try to get up early and practice yoga before work. Your videos help a lot, thanks so much
Thankyou Bre and Flo! I appreciate you reminding us that it can be difficult to get started, to build new habits. I’ve been doing Flo’s “Do this Routing every day after waking up” video for quite a few weeks now. And just today I could do the entire routine with ease. And I remember those feelings of “will I be able to do this?” or “I won’t be able to do this because Flo is young and I’m 50! “ And then with continued practice I became stronger….mentally and physically. Thank you both so much for your encouragement and treasure trove of videos and support. Wishing you both abundant peace and health. Thank you.
I used to wake up at 4-4:30 am to get my weight training done. Now I wake up at 5am. I love early mornings to get everything done before heading to work. Once I get home in the evenings I like to relax and not have to catch up on things I didn't get to do that morning. I just found your channel last night. Enjoying your videos. Thanks for sharing!
Honestly can't stress enough how helpful your videos have been. I was in a pretty dark place a few weeks back in lockdown and then started doing Flo's morning routine video and it helped me hugely. Just watched this and loved it equally. You're both amazing and you're focus on not just the body, but mental wellbeing as well, is really refreshing and helpful ❤️👍
5,17 am ⏰ its my time, shower, lemon hot water; cats feeding, coffee and some reading and Meditacion, after that iOS time for yoga, or 2 hours sunrise walk alone ❤️🙏🏻🌍 muy routine from years ago. You are great 💕🌟 thanks a lot 🙏🏻
I read (Audible) this book based on your suggestion "5am Club". It's been hard making the adjustment of waking up but, certainly I agree with the principles of the book. I can say that I have made 2 days in a row so I am on my way. Thanks.
I’m trying the 5AM club. So far I’m waking around 5AM or before 5AM sleeping before 10PM. And I’m drinking apple cider vinegar when I wake up.
I needed this, thanks! I use to be the 5am club but when covid happened, gym closed etc, been sleeping in until I have to get ready for work. Thanks for the tip and motivation, tomorrow 5am baby! Let’s do this 👏🏻👏🏻
I will try to wake up earlier from tomorrow onwards and re-start daily yoga practice... this video has been very inspiring! Thanks!
6am is my time, started to do it so I could move more because if I left it till nighttime, it's not happening! 😂 and 3 years going strong, some days I do just lie in. What helped me keep going was my why and slowly realized how amazing having that quiet time to yourself is ❤
Hey guys thank you for the inspiring video! Could you maybe do a similar video about your evening / bedtime routine? Because for me the most challanging thing about joining this 5am club is not actually getting up at 5 am but going to bed (and sleep!) early enough to be able to get up at 5 and be fresh and not completely sleepy and destroyed ;)
You guys have a beautiful relationship. Love being part of your lives Thanks for being there!
I’m genuinely happy for you two. Your space in this reality is beautiful
The editing in this video is great!! You can really tell how much time and effort has gone into it, very much looking forward to the content in 2021 x
thanks for appreciating the work that went into it!
Namaste, I am grateful that the universal, all embracing and ancient wisdom of INDIA and Hinduism ( yoga and meditation) is being appreciated and adapted all over the world now...
You two are great... really appreciate your vids/ knowledge... I’m military and 40y/o so I have to work very hard to keep ahead of the youngsters... look to y’all to stay mobile/ agile/ flexible/ healthy... gotta have the coffee though, y’all are crazy...
I love 5 o clock club life!! Costa Rica looks gorgeous! What a beautiful life you had back then!!!
I usually wake up at 4:30 or earlier depending on my workout schedule or my son's work schedule. Love to see the colors of dawn in the morning. I have a corporate job and always demands so much of my energy that by 4pm, I am drained. Looking at your book recommendations. Enjoyed your video much.
As someone who struggles with discipline, really for most of my life, it's so helpful to take a holistic approach to addressing the 'why' that comes with difficulty with discipline. For me, that meant eating well everyday, exercising, journaling, meditation, therapy, being confident in my work and finding fulfillment in it etc... but it also meant getting evaluated for learning disabilities. I found out recently that I have ADHD, and have been getting treatment for it and working on ways to work with it instead of "brute forcing" my way to discipline. The difference is tremendous. I don't suggest self diagnosis, but, I think for anyone who has had a history of trouble with discipline - even after addressing many other important aspects of life - learn more about it and consider getting evaluated if you can. If you can't reading helps.
Starting a new job next week and decided to try to start the 5am thing as a new schedule on my own last night, and then I see this video today. First attempt this morning was rough, but this was awesome to watch and gives me encouragement to keep trying. Thanks you two!
Ihr seid wirklich wunderschön. Vielen Dank, dass ihr eure Weisheit mit uns teilt! Love and light 🙏
Incredible advice! This is a great inspirational boost since I started your program about a month and a half ago. I've been off a constant morning routine but my 39 year old body says that I should re-take this discipline as I could do more in the peaceful morning hours. Thanks for everything, namaste.
I was more or less homeless and couch surfing, with 2 kids in midddle school and elementary school, i was in school as well, mon-fri 8am-5pm. And i was up every morning at 4:30am to complete my morning routine. Lemon water, Yoga, reading, journaling, gratitude, meditation, all the things. No coffee until that routine was completed. There is absolutely no excuse. Im proof. Today my soulmate and i own a big beautiful home and we are thriving in all aspects of life. I believe my success started with those morning routines. 100%.
My boyfriend has been working graveyards since we met, that changes next week and im a little nervous about navigating mornings together, ive had them to myself for a long time now.... years and years actually...
Hello beautiful ones.
I learned to wake early form the Dalai Lama.
I go right to gentle yoga and then Meditation every morning, I wake up at 3:30 usually. I fall asleep by 8-9pm usually.
I
This reminds me of what Dr. Vasant Lad speaks of, or the Ayurvedic clock. It will change your life, they aren't kidding. In the process of implementing this consistently in my own life. You can take it even deeper with eating more specifically for your Dosha or constitution as well. You guys inspire me, I want to do something similar as a massage therapist, long time yogi whos hoping to do YTT in 2021 and jiu jitsu practitioner/martial artist. Namaste. :)
Just finished "The Body Keeps the Score" and half way through "When the Body Says No" - healing is body work !!!
How have you been healing?
"First it's you and then it's someone else" is actually the best advice you could ever give a person!
Ha! That's so interesting. I have been waking up very early (as early as 4am at times) for years, always spending the early quiet hours exercising and studying. I had never heard of the 5am club but it totally makes sense to me. This video gave a framing and rationalize one of my most cherished habits. Thank you!
I wish there would be enough words to tell you how much I love you both, you are amazing...
What a great video! You guys are the happiest couple I know! Such an inspiration! Thank you so much for everything you guys do!
I am a normal person, I don't eat the core or seeds 🤣 I do drink black coffee but sometimes enjoy a warm honey lemon water too. A couple of years ago I was getting up at 4.30 to train and get ready for work but as I'm no longer able to work my routine changed. When we move house again soon I think I'll look at changing it up again to start a bit earlier, ATM my husband and I have to sleep on our dinning room floor right next to the loungeroom so training and yoga aren't possible before he wakes without disrupting my husband's sleep too and as he's our sole worker he needs that rest most importantly 💜 I love these blogs guys. Thank you!
The rope challenge at the end was a treat. Thank you for all the tips. I am trying to be more consistent with my morning routine and this helped 🙏🏻
Happy new year, yogi babies!
Hey Bre and Flo! Just wanted to say that you're a huge motivation for me. I'm starting this from tomorrow, today I started my routine at 6 and I felt amazing! :)
I'm wishing you peace and love!~
No Apple core for me, thanks! I really appreciate everything you share! I have been in the 5 am club since February 2020 and I can say it kept me sane through a very strange year. Here lately I have been snoozing a couple of times, so thank you for reigniting the fire for me! I just started doing your monthly beginner program and this was the rest day video (although I did do some of the movements from the last few days while I watched because I can’t sit still very well...working on it...and started practicing yoga last Jan 2020 every day...so your program is helping me refocus and improve the breathwork and meditation pieces. Lastly, I am from Costa Rica, living in US now, so thank you for showcasing my beautiful country! Thank you for all the hard work you put into your content...excellent quality! 🙏🏼
Thank you all for this!!
Good Morning! Thanks for taking us along your morning routine. I love your healthy/modern/yogi aesthetic and lifestyle. You guys are great.
I’m always up between 3/4 am as this is when the world is the most still & best time to meditate! People have commented that I’m old as I go to bed early & get up early! Also your brain has the highest levels of melatonin during this time! Eating whole foods is what our body deserves, not the heavily processed!
I have just discovered yoga and meditative breath work and mindfulness and its had a huge impact on my mental health and my body. These things are routine for me now! Thank you for posting you two !!
You two are awesome. You are literally changing my life for the better. Thank you for that.
Y’all are the best. Up at 5:00am already and developing my morning routine. One of your videos for morning body activation is a regular Love the extra motivation to improve on that routine. Grateful for you two! ❤
you guys are my 2021 inspiration! I wanted to wake up this morning but alas didn't wake till 11pm.. tonight I will make myself sleep much earlier. Both your lives are serious goals!!
so y'all are like basically on vacation right? I'll try the 8am club for starters. Thanks for the inspiration despite the barely relatable set of circumstances and environment. I wake up 5 mins before my home office shift starts and take my laptop to bed for like the first 5 emails after which I schlep myself to the kitchen to argue with my wife and defend the fact that I look like a bum. So I'll start waking up earlier for a change and take some time for myself. I'll report back in 4 weeks. Stay tuned.
You both are so wonderful! I was smiling for 27 minutes straight :) Thank you for inspiration and useful information. Lots of love to you!
Thank you for the great video. I stumbled upon y’all a few months ago and am loving all the videos and yoga practice. I plan to join in on Patreon when I get a little more advanced in my yoga practice. BTW I’m in the 4 AM club. I own a restaurant and have to be there by 6ish so up super early to get in morning yoga.
Your video and what you say is very motivating and real.
It is so true that happiness is in small things! In these difficult times, I read and think a lot about the happiness and meaning of life. What I have read and what you say has a lot in common.
Feeling of control and meaningfullness are so important!
Thank you!!😃🙏💪👋
Ahhhh that was great! Thanks for sharing your morning routine. How awesome that is. To roll out of bed being Flo and Bre. That’s like rolling out of bed being Luke Skywalker and Wonder Woman. Haha! You two are great! Thanks for the tips on sleeping. My problem is I can’t sleep more than 5 hours. I think my phone is the reason so I’m going to start turning it off at night! I loved the ending! You two going across the pool. That looked the fun! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
One day I'll be able to make my life as Satisfying and prosperous like yours💟 ..lots of love from India for both of You🫂
I love getting up super early. I do meditation then my workout n coffee usually dome b4 6 .. thanx for sharing
You two are so positive and encouraging! Setting my alarm before sunrise tmrw and will begin the day with a yoga practice. Thank you!
Thank u for showing the version of life which seems ideal to me, I feel really inspired by your routine!
I can hear the kisskadee birds in your background. Gives me nostalgia as I grew up in Trinidad and Tobago where they're a lot of them. Love from a trini girl in Brooklyn Ny.🖤🪔
Thank you so much, you guys are amazing 🤍
You both have such beautiful energy, thank you for the peace you are offering.
yea me to i love to get up early, get some time for myself, take a shower, do some yoga drink some coffee after play some chess. makes me feel great for the day. lot of people dont understand this but I cant understand why not take time for yourself like this. :}
Awesome!
I've found this channel about a year ago and since then - I've been exploring my body & mind every single day. I'm A LOT stronger & more flexible in the body and A LOT more sane & peaceful within. Thank you! 🧘🏼♂️
I have a question regarding the cold showers. When do you actually do them - immediately (or shortly) after practice, a few hours after practice, or it doesn't really matter for you?
What I'm currently doing is: Begin with Pranayama, then do a movement practice & finish with a cold shower.
Sending lots of love & gratitude from Bulgaria! ❤️
does not really matter to us. most days we do a cold shower within 30 minutes after practice and definitely before eating anything. we avoid showers after eating. your routine sounds great!
@@BreatheAndFlow If I may ask, what is the reason for avoiding showers after eating?
I do indeed eat the whole apple, have done since I was a kid... never come across anyone who did it.
Happy new year to you both.
I will join the 5 am club. Thanks for posting.
I don’t know you or what your names are because this video got recommend to me. Girl, you have healing energy. You have an incredible calm and accomodating presence! Of course I immediately subscribed!
Ooh ihr seid aus deutschland 🇩🇪
Thanks for youre Vids.
In the past I've had to struggle with getting you - but since I've read 5pm Club, Iam close to get up at 4:30 - and now I put Flows movement routine into it - it will be get the best time of my life!
Thanks
I am watching this and I have a felling like I know you two for my entire life, it gives me such a nice feeling. :)

The tenacity to keep going….What a perfect ending 🖤
Thank you guys. God bless you beautiful souls ❤❤❤❤
Found you both the other day and you both inspired me to finally get meditation added to my routine by following your 10 days 'Expand' journey and to start adjusting my morning routine! Here's today's one too adjusting! Phones not been touched, lemon water drank, and about to start my meditation and yoga (maybe not 5am yet, but I'll let you know when I get there!) :-)
@Breathe and Flow thank you so much for your videos! I've been practicing with you for quite some time. I'm hoping to spend a month in Costa Rica to unplug and jump the next chapter of self-care and growth in my life. Do you have any recommendations for an affordable, centrally located Airbnb to stay at for the month? Or other good options?
Awesome!! The only place we can recommend and stayed ourself is at Selina hotel. Enjoy the jungle!! 🙏❤️
just joined the club. feels amazing!
really like this kind of content ! lot of precious idea to be a better person :) thanks ! + your content really change my mindset in 2020, covid year but also yoga year bc no i can't imagine my life without my yoga practice :) all "because" of you 2.
How am I just finding out about your channel? You two are so inspiring and I feel so encouraged to start making the changes I have been procrastinating on. Thank you.
I had so much fun watching this video!!! Thank you for the inspiration. I am about to start the 5 am waking up!
Really great video guys. Super high quality and packed with information. Highly appreciate it and I'm going to implement some of your tips in my routine.
OH my gosh those slackline clips at the end were absolutely amazing to watch. You guys are fantastic!
Thank you. I'm on the 5am club. I would like how you star giving retreat, i saw you will have a school. I'm gonna finish my RYS500 soon. So happy to start a new yoga teacher life. Thank you Namaste
You guys are very sweet. Thanks for the beautiful smiles.
Where was this accommodation? Beautiful setting!
Peace & gratitude to you both, amazing content 🙏
The Selina hotel in Nosara, Costa Rica
I have been reinspired to get up - I wax and wane with this. I struggle with finding an evening and bedtime routine. I like the band-walking over the pool practice at the end - nice mug shot before the cut, Bre ;) Tha k you both 🙏
Thank you guys, I appreciate you so much, I’ll do my best to be a part of the 5:00am club. ❤️ and 🙏🏽
I personally never had toforce myself to wake up. Even l am now living in North. I naturally have biorytham that want me to go sleep early around 9 and wake up between 5 and 6. It is so natural for me that l don't need any alarm , special light. I am like my grandfather. Early bird we say it. I also never watched much tv and similar electronic amusements so that might be part of it that l rather rest then waist my time on that type of content..
About Apple it can happen that l eat all but rarely.
Unfortunately my husband is not at all in sync with me. He goes to bed really late! Great video and where you live looks fab compared to rainy Ireland right now! I struggle getting up early big time.... .
Been reading Why We Sleep, struggling to get back into my yoga/movement practice, and feeling like there’s just not enough time in the day. 5 AM club has always seemed like an idealist thing to me...but your perspective on it really moved me to try! Maybe I’ll try 6 am first though...baby steps.
This is fabulous thank you so much I am now doing beginning yoga with you
Wow , this was an amazing video filled with so much good insights. Can’t believe I am just finding this channel 💯
Seeing your new upload reminds me I need to do more yoga
you guys literally offer the best Biohack from physical and metal content on the internet! I use to have continues nagging lower back pain, thanks to your Yoga classes from Beginner series and Ignite. I feel like I'm in my 20's allover again, btw I'm 43.
hahah amazing content! I have 2 tips for the Slackline. Always fight the fall, no matter if you eventually fall. I think this will build resiliance towards those close falls. The second one y to step the line with straight feet; feet looking foward. Hope this helps to cross the pool haha!
In case tip number 1 wasnt too clear, what i meant is dont give up too early!
thanks for the tip, will integrate that!
you guys videos bring so much joy and inspiration to me, thank you very much, god bless, peace ✌☮❤❤❤❤❤
Really enjoyed this video guys, I know it's an old video and you have a kid now but I've seen how you guys have included Ailo in your daily routine and it's beautiful, Namaste 🙏
Fellow apple core eater! As a kid I would watch my mom eat the whole core and only leave the little stick. Since then I eat the whole apple too. Depending on the type of mango, if the skin is not bitter, I eat the skin too. Just rinse the mango and bite into it. :) I wake up with the sun. I leave a gap in my curtains so that I open my eyes with the first sun rays
