I wonder how many people are watching every single Robin Williams video they can find tonight on youtube. I know I am. You were truly so amazing, unique, and inspiring. Rest in peace.
@Luxury Brown Maybe you're right. But many people admire Williams specially for his courage and nerve to be annoying. It's not easy to akt like that. But sometimes it's urgently needed.
Mrs. Doubfire is one of those movies that I just can watch over and over and still laugh just as much as I did the first time (well I was really young the first time and didn't get all the jokes). I think it's a movie that's more for adults. I always think man I wish she had been my nanny!
I was just thinking of Robin the other day. He's one of the greatest actors ever. He could make you laugh one minute and cry the next. Such a special man. I wish he knew how many people just truly loved him.
There is no one like Robin Williams. He was my favorite comic and actor. He could do anything. I miss him so much. He was such a quick wit, he always kept me laughing. A talent like his, comes around once in a lifetime and I'm glad that Robin was in my lifetime. Rest in Peace, Robin M. Williams.
I still cry, whenever I see these videos of the beautiful Robin Williams. It's 05/09/2021 and today is Father's Day here in Australia. My darling dad, was a Greek immigrant and loved Robin Williams as much as we kids did; even though, at times he didn't understand Robin's rapid fire wit, he loved him, that was a testament to Robin's talent. My dad's birthday was 10 August and Robin died on 11 August, so each time I think of my dad, I can't help but think of Robin too. Time flies, it's already 19 years since my dad died aged, just 65 in 2002. And now in the blink of an eye, 7 swift years have passed since we lost this legend. Robin was yes, an extraordinarily gifted comedian...but like my darling dad, what I miss the most is his humanity, his goodness, his empathy and his generous, kind and selfless spirit. Aside from Robin's rapid physical degeneration, he was also struggling to make ends meet financially. Here is a man who paid all of his best friend's, Christopher Reeve's (Superman's) massive medical bills and yet, towards his own final days, he was struggling. It is so heartbreaking and such a tragedy. So a raise a glass to you my darling dad and to you Robin, "Captain, my Captain…" 😔💔🍷🍷 Here's a sad but insightful read about dear Robin. 💔 www.google.com/amp/s/www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2018/05/robin-williams-death-biography-dave-itzkoff-excerpt/amp
Wonderful written so warm and hartfelt.I agree with your statement. He was a star, 2:35 one of the biggest in the Galaxy, multitalanted and gave us all so much. But in the end it is the man you miss ,that big warm hart of his..and all those wonderful moments that was coming out of it.A bundle of joy and a well of sadness, but first and almost ,a sea of kindness. No wonder that that we miss him.
There is a comment below stating "He should win an award for how he receives awards" ...... that's true! He always gives memorable acceptance speeches and I crack up every time.
He thanked his wife. He salute his children and even send a message to them at the END, this is so nice. This is why I see him as father figure. I wish he was my dad.
"He should receive an award for how he receives awards" (saw that comment below). Probably on the top five fast ways to describe Robin. Grew up with him, sometimes I feel like I died with him, but I'm still here. His soul is still with all of us though.

Goodbye Mork from Ork, goodbye Genie, goodbye Mrs. Doubtfire, Mr. Keating, Adrian Cronauer, Peter Pan, and on and on and on... Your gift of being able to make us laugh so hard we were in pain in one movie, and then bring our hearts to tears in the next, will never be forgotten. Thank you so very much.

He was absolutely amazing in comedy & drama. So sad to lose such a talented man who entertained so many and was loved by so many never knowing the pain he battled till after we lost him. Mr. Williams was hilarious and heartfelt playing the divorced man behind the widowed caretaker! He may be gone but his legacy will live on in the new generation of American comedy and be our Mrs. Doubtfire. Bye Bye
he was a comedic genius that always made me laugh but underneath it all you could see that he was a very emotional person.he left to soon and will forever be missed
MRS. DOUBTFIRE was hysterical. One of the funniest movies I have ever seen, and I am NOT a big Robin Williams fan. That being said, I am very happy for him that he was recognized for one of my all-time favorite comedies.
The angels are hard at work trying to save humanity (Russia, Syria, Ebola, etc.) and they need a laugh once in awhile to relax so they need a person like him to improv at comedy clubs in heaven.

Such a tragedy! If you're sad, in trouble or just feeling lost, please tell someone! I would also like to say that for those that are skeptical, depression is a disease like any other horrific disease but I strongly feel that what is prescribed to treat it is part of the cause why so many take their own life. If you know someone who is being treated for depression, please monitor what they are taking for the drugs can be very harmful to how someone thinks/reacts!!! I speak from experience!!! I hope you are finally at peace Robin and the angels are certainly laughing up a storm today!!!!

It was all too little too late
The demons that haunted you at night in bed
Was the emptiness in your head and not your soul

For redemption from prying eyes not knowing
That this clown
Was burdened by an unimaginable dark cloud
The loss of your dearest departed friend
Didn't mean it signaled the end
But it did steal something
And left a remarkable gift so amazing and profound.
When on one hand it took, the other you received and gave
It was not enough to silence the millions of critics in your mind
Why didn't we spot you were running out of time?
