I served in Afghanistan. I have PTSD and sleep apnea while I was in camp Blessing, I slept in the building that wasn't too far from a burnpit, our mortar pit wasnt not too far from the burn pit, and I could smell the burn all the times we had to throw trash into it. Everyday I could smell the burnt air going through the atmosphere around us
I would get broken down vehicles, exploded vehicles, general trash off of Iraq roads and take it straight to burn pits and just drop it right in. nothing was scraped. nothing was taking out (i.e. battery, fluids, oils all present). within 3 yrs of discharge after multiple deployments I was 27 yrs old on 24/7 oxygen getting cancer taken out of my colon, 3 surgeries to a completely damaged sinuses, upper/lower GI issues, persistent lung ailments, 3 yrs of pneumonia and VA claims it's psychosomatic PTSD.... lmao... took 6 years of VA claims of denial, a congressmen, a senator and finally rated 100% disabled but not for lungs, but for IU, individually unemployable. still deny my lung claims, sinus claims, cancer claim. only upper/lower gi and ptsd... that's it. thank God for my veteran commission in my county in Ohio. without them id be dead. I lost my means to live, lost my wife (divorce), children (divorce), my ability to work(I made 119,000 the year I got to sick to carry on and VA thought I was benefit chasing) My life goal is truth. And to fire ALL those who work against the Veteran (i.e. all of Cleveland Wade Park VA staff starting with medical director) I have proof (FOIA request) showing that medical director contacted Washington dc (names were redacted but it was from VA sec. office) and was instructed to limit my care, to dismiss claims, and to follow ptsd theory. Thanks to Pres. Trump signing VA Choice and Cares act because now Veterans like myself are poised to take back our rights to be cared for.
I deployed to Indonesia in 2014, there were burn pits/barrels there. Do I qualify? They burned trash, rubber, etc. I’ve been denied before but I suffer from sinusitis and rhinitis now, I have no sense of smell and constant sinus infections.
Genius did not answer the question but qualified it and gave a misleading near deceitful answer. There were burn pits D.Shield, Storm, Southern Watch all the way back to Indochina. Study up on organic chemistry a bit.

Yes you do qualify. “Buddy statements” From fellow servicemen members will help with your claim.
We also burned human waste, nasty
Wasn't the poop. Jet fuel, diesel, kero accelerants. Smoke, particulate. Chemicals.

And then had pt routes running around that same pit
04'05' Khandahar Afghan. We actually had teams called SWAT (shhh water and trash). They burned feces at all the FOBs.
Camp Leatherneck also burned feces.
2004-05 Iraq
