Dear sir I own a very big Esraj Total length of instrument is 127 cm with string length mensure 87 cm .It is 4 strings without tarab strings. By your knowledge have you ever heared about such an Esraj bass instrument .Maybe a special commission like a Sursingar for Sarod to play alap?

What did the master applied to his fingers at 3'20'', oil or talcum powder?
Some kind of oil?
It's simple mustard or any oil to make his left hand fingers more slippery so that fingers move smoothly through the strings.

You get it in kolkata or bolpur or many of cllasical instruments shop
