    Thanks! Just resurrected mine from my childhood. I'd forgotten to hold the button until the photo comes out. This will save me lots of blur.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!! For my first test run on my camera i started to shake it in the middle of the sun and was sitting here lookin like an idiot like "why's it blurry?? 🙁" lol. Thank you for not letting me waste any more of this precious film!

    Hey, thanks for the video, i have bought sx-70 film which has 8 photos in there. Do i need to take them all immediately or can i shoot one photo and then shoot another one weeks later is that possible??

      Duh 🤦‍♂️

    • @forwardcameras
      @forwardcameras  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can shoot them later no problem. However do not wait too long or leave the camera in the heat or cold because it may dry out the film inside or the battery might drain and die. Please subscribe to our channel.

    The little knob on the front, I think that exposure. I can't get it to work, I mainly don't understand how to work it.

      Move to dark to make darker move to light to make picture brighter. For modern film start the dial at 1/3 of the way towards dark

    What is the main cause for blurry photos with this camera? How long should you expect to wait for the film to develop? I have repaired a really old one (Land Camera 1000) but photos are really dark and blurry, and take about 30 mins to fully develop.
    I took my test pictures outside off my balcony in full daylight with the exposure setting maxed out at white, but it still looks dark.
    I also have the Polatronic flash, but it's really a quick blitz flash, like a millisecond, not like the slow room filling deliberate flash seen on modern cameras. The flash is so quick, how could this possibly work with this camera, considering we have to hold the button down for ages to keep the shutter open for all that time, but in reality in a dark room with just the flash as a light source it only gets a microsecond of light?

    • @forwardcameras
      @forwardcameras  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I would normally say that you need bright light for this camera but they do age. Their light meter censor and internal circuits also do age and sometimes time gets to them so the exposures don’t come out correctly. You might have a dud.

    I’ve just purchased one of these, I’m using a neutral filter with color 600 film as I read it’s possible I’ve installed it all correctly. But when I take pictures my film isn’t developing it just shows black or grey images I’m in a very well lighted room. Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

      I accidentally bought a 600 film and it works perfectly fine for me (both color and b&w) but I also got nothing to compare it to, those are my first packs

    Hello, I successfully loaded the film and it ejected the first photo. But the camera won't take a photo when I push the shutter button. The film is successfully loaded. Do you have a suggestion for me. I have looked everywhere and cannot find an answer. Thank you for any help you can give.

    • @forwardcameras
      @forwardcameras  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      To be honest these cameras have issues and this is not uncommon. It could also be that it needs complete cleaning or that the battery pack is not giving it enough energy

    Do you need to hold down the button? I got a couple good shots before all of my photos started getting a motion blur on them and I can’t figure out why.

    • @forwardcameras
      @forwardcameras  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      That might be because there isn’t enough light. The sx70 film needs very bright sunlight to work. Indoor photos will all be blurry and dark without the flash. Please subscribe.

    • @iscaylis
      @iscaylis 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The shutter is automatic based on light. If there is a lot of light, the shutter will be faster and you’ll get less blur.
