I just found my parents Polaroid camera and I was wondering how to install new batteries but then I came Across this video and you’re such a life saver!! Will definitely buy new film! Thank you so much , can’t wait to use it😊
“If u pick up the camera after 20 or 30 years…” just happened. Being new in town, I asked an old timer at my job if he could recommend a shop for finding an old school Polaroid camera. He went in the back room and came out with a 30 year old Sun 600 LMS and handed it to me with a smile. He said, “It’s my gift to you.” Thank you, Nevzat for the camera and thank you Marco for the instruction. Cheers!
I had the identical thing happen to me two years ago. Cleaning up old desks in my work and we find a Sun 600 in a drawer. They were going to junk it and I said "Hey I'd love that" and now its mine!
I am so glad that you went through everything so thoroughly. I've seen so many videos where they skip over things because they feel like it's obvious, but it really isn't. Thank you for being so detailed! I really appreciate it!
Polaroid was ahead of it's time i dont care how expensive your camera is it will never be able to give you an old school picture to hang on the wall the moment you take the picture
Thank you, I found my wife’s 600 after 30 yrs in the garage and we both didn’t remember how it worked. We had an idea but we found it funny we had to relearn how to use a 30 yr old camera we used for many years lol. Thanks for the refresh. My 12 yr old daughter is amazed with it. Can’t wait to start using it again.
Thanks for this tutorial! I just acquired a Polaroid camera and had no idea how to work the damn thing. Love people who take the time and energy to create videos like this. Really helps out and I hope you receive the compensation you deserve for your work!

So of course yesterday was Christmas and my grandma gave me her old Polaroid camera same exact as the video and it’s in really good condition! You answered all my questions I wasn’t sure if I had to buy a battery and film but it comes with the film so I am really excited about using it
The brightness feature and flash really helped me out. I got a great deal on my camera, I bought it at a local thrift store for only $2, half off from its original price. Online mine sells for about $130 So far I've bought only 3 packs of film because they are expensive for me. And I've been pretty sparing with them so they've lasted quite a while. I have some weird taken photos but I like that sort of raw, unfiltered, somewhat unprofessional look. But as I progress I'm sure to get more and more better photos. Thank you for this tutorial, it was very insightful!
i got mine today for 10 dollars, and i've actually been thinking about getting one, but i didn't want to spend a lot, so i guess this was part of God's plan.
Thanks for this video. I have my Mom's Polaroid camera that my late Grandma gave her as a graduation gift. I've been teaching myself how to take pictures with this camera and love the vintage look of the physical pictures. I have the spirit 600, and this video broke down what the functions are, so now I feel more informed about my particular camera. Thank you.
Just scored one of these for 20$ at an antique store and I doubted it was going to work from the low price and the fact that it had a REALLY old film cartridge still inside that had massive sun damage....But I removed the old film and tested it with new film just like you recommended and it worked so well that the noise of it ejecting the film pack cover actually scared me! Very informative video, thanks!
Hi from Canada! I just bought a Polaroid 600 at a Thrift Store! only ten Canadian dollars. Thank you for the demo. I just ordered my film. I can't wait to test it out. Now I know that I need to clean my rollers first. Cool video. Cheers from Kindle

This video helped a lot, I just found the Polaroid 600 in my step dad's parent's basement and the flash and everything works like a charm, all I need is the film. Which is pretty expensive but I think it might be worth it for such a cool camera.
Just dug mine up from storage when the film arrived. Had to get reacquainted with it after 16 years. I'm super excited and can't wait to use it. Great video🙏
thank you so much for this video, just found this type of camera in my parents house. have to order a film, hope it still works... it must be more than 20 years old...

Gave a box of old Polaroid and Kodak cameras to my 15 yr old son.. Hes in love with old tech as he calls it. Were taking a few pics now with the old 600 as a matter of fact, good times.
I bought one of these in the late 90s for $10 to use for a couple of art school projects. It's been in a drawer ever since. I pulled it out recently and ran some film through it. I found one in my basement, it's so clean and in well shape that looks it's brand new, and not 3 decades old! I'll buy new film for it and hopefully it will work, thanks for the video, it was really good! I'll subscribe rn

It's only 2.50 a photo. Even less if you buy bulk packs.
I agree with you
this video was very helpful. thank you!! i just have one question. So i bought this camera for only $1 at a rummage sale and the lady said it was perfectly in good condition. I don’t have any film in it yet, and my green light doesn’t turn on when i open it or pull the trigger on the side.
Very informative! Vielen dank!
I just bought one of these and honestly this video was perfect in helping me get started 😁

Great Video 👍😊 just wondering what the difference is between the 600 close up & 600 one step flash ? Thanks in advance
I found one in my basement, it's so clean and in well shape that looks it's brand new, and not 3 decades old!
I'll buy new film for it and hopefully it will work, thanks for the video, it was really good!
I'll subscribe rn
Thank you for the video. I bought one when they were new and just found it buried in a closet. Seems the new film is of better quality so I look forward to trying it out.
no, the old film was alot better ;)
Thank you so much for this! It saved me so much time & answered so many of my questions! I ended up snagging a pink & gray cool cam at a flea market recently. I'm obessed now! Thank you again! :)
Thank you very much for the information. I have a question, should I keep the films stored in the fridge while not using them?? Thanks!!!
Excellent video! I just got my daughter the MTV Special Edition 600. This video helped A TON.
Thanks for making this👍🏻
Great video! Thanks a bunch! We looked for a while to try and find where the battery was located! Good thing you pointed out it was in the film!
+Jordan Hamlin hope you enjoy the camera
I LOVED this video! My wife and I have a Polaroid 600 camera and haven't used it for 30 years. We started using it and I have a question. After the photo is taken, should I leave the photo exposed or turn it down where no light is exposed.
My grandfather used to have an old Polaroid but we have no idea what happened to it. I was given one a month ago and your video was perfect to help me figure it out! Thank you ☺️
I was gifted one about a year ago! I am happy I can still get film for it. I will remeber the number of film it comes with!
