Great to see a Bone Club review! I like the action of the leather, on other leather boards they either slide too much or not at all. Now to me the wood color and design seems to plain to me, has a "home made" feel to it. Would have been nice to have the wood have some elegant type of etching or carving to it. Really like your calming voice through out the video. Hope you give us an update on the board after some matches.
This is Vinny, right? I recognize your channel picture as I've watched several of your board videos. Plus I recognize you from St Louis this year. Cheers dude! Thanks a million for watching and commenting. BC has a stained wood version of The Lennox for a slightly different look and feel. Overall construction is the same for all variations though. I will say that even though overall design is simpler with The Lennox compared to other BC board, the construction is solid. I will definitely let you know how it's holding up after some tournament appearances. What tournaments are you going to this year? Congrats on winning St Louis BTW.
I also appreciate your comment about my voice in the video. I struggle with the sound of my own voice at times. I am glad to hear it came across nicely.
@BeerAndBG Yes it's me Vinny, thanks man, yes was nice meeting you in St. Louis! My next tournament is Chicago in May and then most likely St.louis in June (my brother lives there). It really shows how much you enjoy playing with a nice board in your video, part of the reason I like the game so much, a gorgeous board to play on makes the experience so much more pleasant.
Should catch you in Chicago, then hopefully St Louis as well. See you there! I couldn't agree with you more. The tactile nature of this game is huge for me too, and the board can make a difference. I love engaging my mind with strategy, tactics, and some math, but the visual and auditory aspect of the game are icing on the cake.
