i've got a random question, dont know if this is something youd personaly know the answer to for sure. but i cant seem to find an answer anywhere online, and you clealy have some experience of japanese culture, showing all this amazing wood working.
would you say that shadow puppetry is a part of japanese culture? or do they only really produce bunraku?

How cold is Japan? Woodworkers are almost always shown wearing jackets or multiple layers.
Depends on the season and area. In summer in the south, temperatures could be as high as 43 degrees celsius, while in the winter in the north, there is a lot of snow. You don't need to travel far from Tokyo to see snow in the winter most years. Besides, there is almost always snow covering the peak of mount Fuji
