I have been doing gel blasting for a bit now. I want to get my first blaster from my local store. The store sells SKD M4ss, JM scar v2, Vector v2 and the wells m401. I need a good sturdy blaster with good accuracy. And I also want to be able to easily find a drum mag and hop up for my blaster online. Later down the track, I will be wanting to upgrade the battery to an 11volt and upgrade the spring and possibly the barrel. Out of the blasters, the local shop sells what one would you recommend?
Krebsy Out of those choices, I would still have to say the Well M4. All you have to do is buy an 11.1 volt battery , Hopup , Replace the pistons O ring , And hunt down a drum mag and your set. What does your supplier think?
Charlie Don't Surf Gel Blaster The supplier thinks the vector v2 is the best choice out of the box. I am not too sure about its accuracy though. I have been leaning towards the M4ss because of its accuracy. Watching your reviews I think it has the best accuracy compared to the rest. Do you think the wells m401 has the best accuracy or m4ss? Overall I know gel blasters are terrible in the way of accuracy and range but I want the best that I can get locally.
Krebsy I love the SS, but can have electrical issues which will eventually disappoint you. As I’ve said many times, if you remove the wiring from the SS and rewire back in the basics, it’s a winner (in my opinion). 11.1 volt battery, hopup, spring, O ring and drum mag, all easy to purchase.
@@charliedontsurfgelblaster6267 I would not want to open up the gearbox because I don't want to mess anything up. When you say "remove the wiring from the m4ss and rewire back in the basics" do you mean take out the wires and put them back in or completely get new wires. As you can probably tell I am an absolute noob when it comes to modifying blasters. The only thing I would do to my blaster would be to upgrade the battery to an 11.1 volt and get a hop up and drum mag. With only that in mind would the m4ss still be worth my cash?
Krebsy No... Only because if it plays up, you’d be buggered and frustrated. I recommend you buy a cheap standard Gen8 gearbox and pull it down and rebuild it. Do this a couple of times and play around with it and you will surprise yourself how easy it is. There is stacks of stuff on TH-cam to help you. Your confidence will build and open up a whole new world of fun.
2 questions 1 I want to buy one of these but I live in Victoria if I don't take it out of my house or take it anywhere public can I get it? 2 does the blaster feel very plasticy and cheap? Thanks
as long as the public don't see it or anyone calls the cops on you should be fine, Some of the blasters are plastic some are nylon/plastic and the more expensive ones can be metal/wood

The thing with the JM scar is the accuracy, it just sprays gels everywhere. Maybe good for suppressing fire, but the range too:(

fps and accuracy is bad,need hop up for accuracy 1.3 spring and green oring for reach 300fps
