I'm such a nerd i noticed you forgot the electricity when the axem rangers' spin their axes to block and attack, otherwise amazing job! (also whats the name of the song that plays?)

This looks pretty solid! I will say Mark's original animation feels like it has more impact to each attack the characters make. In the first half of yours the characters move very smoothly which is satisfying to the eye but doesn't make the hits feel as serious, if that makes sense. The fight chunk in the woods is better about this though, keep it up! :-)

I think my personal favorite part of this was the way you remastered this part with Shadow. (0:19) I found that part odd in the original cuz it was just stills, and you added so much weight to it. I’m conflicted on the speed change, but otherwise, really cool.
I'm literally blown away, my favorite smbz scene has been revived into a masterpiece! Thank you very much!

Amazing job! I love the speed - So fast, and the impact of all of those attacks... There's so much energy in what you do, that for a moment, it takes me back to the days of when I thought the SMBZ flash battles were awesome.
i think it being fast is actually a good thing, since, in my opinion, the best SMBZ battles are the ones that are quick paced but also know when to linger on an attack that has more effect
Pretty great. Just need some impact and contact sprites in a few places. Also for the first half the background is moving so fast to the point it feels like it's not there.
Comparing it more closely. It's not that the background is moving to fast like I first thought. But rather Their isn't enough contrast. So it looks mostly like a white background rather then a sky.
Why are people complaining about the speeds? In fact I had no problem following anything of it, to the point I actually went back to see if I missed anything but no I didn't, IMO the speed is what makes it extremely satisfying

It's because they're comparing it to the original, but also because sometimes less speed creates more impact.

Only suggestion is slow it down a little bit cuz it moves a noticeably faster speed than the original

if you look at the original fight, notice how shadow never took a spec of damage from the axem rangers or koopa bros...

This is great, but shadows attacks with the yellow axem ranger does not have a lot of weight or impact as compared to the original. At least, this is clean and a bit smooth.

Something else you missed, was that in the moment before a critical hit time freezes. This was used to sell just how MEATY an impact is, and is possibly among the more satisfy aspects of the original animation.
This is amazing although some parts go little too quickly. 0:29 could use some smear frames to those the fast paced movement.

Ok so obviously speed is 1, 2. excessively bright to the point some characters like luigi and red koopa became lost in the hit animations, and 3 unnecessary flashes mainly with Shadow's assault on Yellow and Red's assault on Mario and Red koopa.

I only just noticed the Axem Rangers used modified Mega Man sprites
If y’all want this to be slowed down just lower the playback speed to .5 or .75. That should help you keep up with the speed.
