Sorry for the re-upload, the other video had a copyright strike on one of the music tracks. Im still getting the hang of this, if anyone knows where I can get royalty free 8-bit music please tell me.
Maybe it's because I'm a New Englander but my favorite part of this video is the cup of coffee lol. Great repairs though. Learned a lot in this one. Thanks dude!
Great job. I really appreciate the warts-and-all approach. Mistakes are great educational tools - thanks for sharing the issues you had with bridging that RF pin. Glad you were able to save them all.
That piece that fell out from the RF modulator looks to be a piece of an RCA cable that broke off. I may have accidentally broke one off in my TV awhile ago...😐
Great Video. I just had to replace a PPU a few weeks back and couldn't even find a decent video on TH-cam. I wish this had been up before then. It would've been very helpful! Hope to see more of your stuff in the future!
Very nice. Do you turn the screw counter-clockwise until it clicks before you screw it in? If not; you can ruin the threading and cause problems; especially with metal screws that go into plastic threading.
my voltage regulator shows 7.60 in output and 4.80 input, I already replaced all caps, and rectifier, also its an aftermarket AC adapter that's compatible too, could there be a resistor that's failed?

It's all good dude.
A trick : watch movies at Flixzone. I've been using them for watching loads of movies lately.

Good vid and well done getting all of them working. Makes me want to go and order a load of broken NESs off eBay and give it a go myself.
Thanks again, and go for it, you can do it.

Yeah someone else mentioned it a while back. Lol I’m disappointed I didn’t realize it right away.

Well I'll probably be uploading a video of a SNES PPU repair, at least that's what I think is wrong as of right now.
Depending on how the corroded pin is "inside" the vram you may be able to drill a small hole on top of the pin and solder a wire to the good metal
This background soundtrack is by far the most beautiful of all, I would always use this one
Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks👍

Nice repair work in this video man, I'm impressed on how these old systems can still be fixed most of the time. Whats your favorite system to play?
Brady Brotherton97 nes is very easy to figure out. My favorite system to play either nes or snes.
@@PunkNDisorderlyGamer my favorite is the n64 I think second fav is the snes
What desolder braid do you use and do you use flux with it? If so what flux? That solder braid soaked up great.
