I also read the Milady’s cosmetology book and I also paid the PSI online 100 question exam test and practiced those questions. I also watched a lots of cosmetology test question videos on TH-cam to prepare. When u arrive to the testing site make sure u have cash to pay for parking if your taking the test in Glendale. Make sure when u do practical that u always sanitize your hands all the time. I wish u all the best and just keep calm don’t get nervous and do your best! 😊 u got this💪🏼

Hi Ms Diane Im confused about the towels.. is it okay to have towels in our kits like haircutting and all the other different procedures or are we only allowed to have all the towels in a bag on the table at all times?
Before you sweep the hair, after the haircut and before you put the broom back. I showed this here so I would not have to make a new haircut video with this added requirement, I believe I mention that in the video
If you are a Cosmo one is fine, if your worried about your haircut being off and having to work with that manikin for your perm, highlights etc. then take two
@Diane Gallegos Do you think that the state board panel made a big deal about the bags being labeled? Because I do. The labeling of the bag is NOT for them, it's a simple checklist for the student to ensure that they have all of their products and supplies. BTW are you on Facebook? I would like to team up with you and a few more educators.

Derek I tell my students once you have watched my videos put them to practice, it’s not enough to just watch them, practice them in the order of the exam and time yourself, if you can do it in the time given great move on, if not practice till you can. As for the written study the small exam book you get with your textbook, that’s something you already have. Last thing breathe you got this!

Miss Diane can you tell us what types of creams do you put in your containers if you're going to do a facial from the cleansers etc can you tell us so that we can pack them correctly for state board. How many towels do you have to bring with state board. 🤔😇🍵😁 Thank you so much
I purchased a kit and the containers came filled already (you can fill them with the products you use at school). How many towels depends on what and how you are using them, I have my students go through the procedures and take notes on what they are using.
Ms. Diane can I ask is there a specific dress code when taking the practical cosmetology test in California? I tried to see and look for the instructions how to dress to the test but couldn’t find the answer in the guide that was sent with the practical test date. 😅
You don’t have to wear a lab coat anymore, they said dress modestly and comfortable, I tell my students to wear all black, they already have it because it is what we have to wear as are uniform for school, this is not the time to make a fashion statement, unless you want all eyes 👀 on you
