Hailed as a “Sax Phenom” by the New York Daily News, Chad LB has toured globally as a bandleader, and with superstars ranging from Chris Botti to Taylor Swift. He has been a featured soloist with premiere ensembles like the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra, and he was formerly a prominent member of the multi GRAMMY winning Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra. At only 29-years-old, Chad has now become one of the first jazz headliners of his generation, amassing a loyal social media fanbase of 100,000 followers across platforms. Despite his demanding tour schedule, Chad continues to be a visiting artist at the renowned San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where he gives monthly masterclasses during the scholastic year. - เพลง

Riiiight. That’s the first thing I said from bar 1 bruh😆. I was like....I thought I clicked on a white dude video....oh wait I did! My dude got chops....they all got skills. Nice!
The Piano players timing, touch,.........expression,...........is so otherwordly.............it's like he is an angel visiting this planet...............
That is something I have not heard in a long time... great modern musicians...
playing as good as the giants of the past. Not jaded, sarcastic or corny...
Just beautiful modern day poetry. ...and my favorite players of current times...
thanks for your words, I love the song and these four amazing guys.
indeed.
There's a ton of this type of playing going on. The kids are alright. There's more great jazz now than evvvvvver, complete with subtle, appropriate, carefully considered reharm. It just gets drowned out easily in a TH-cam driven culture.
true "JAZZ MASTERS" at work here.................... a delight to the ears....................Lets have more, please ! ! !
damn that keyboardist is really into it, so nice to see
Anyone would be if they could hear and play music like Holger.
I can’t understand anyone giving a dislike on this performance. It is very inspiring in its musicianship, sense of history and sensitive improvisatory interplay. I am so glad to have heard Chad and his excellent band!
Jealousy
That intro was other worldly, beautiful piano work
Way way back about 1962 on the way home from a jazz gig @1:0 ish am. late night Radio came thro' with a solo recording of Ben Webster, 'Danny Boy' I had to stop & listen with misty eyes ; he got me !! & Chad just got me again on this !. Grreat !! stuff. Keeping the Beautiful Dream alive.
Brilliance! 🎷🙏😁🎷🙏😁🎷🙏😁
Hartman, Coltrane and Tyner are smiling . Especially at 1:55-2:04 ❤!
That pianist must have played at a black church 😂😂. Seriously though y'all killing. That tone is so phat
Alvin Tucker Man!!! 😭 he got soul
no, but he studied many organ players
lol....first thought that came to my head
He could get dressed up a bit nicer though... oh, and it doesn't hurt to comb your hair a bit either. He's got some phenomenal playing though I'll give him that.
I believe its called “studying the dialect inside a language like a boss”
Super beautiful version...the tone of your sax is really gorgeous and your phrasing is an encyclopedia of the best players in jazz history, all mixed by your own personality...and what to say about the rythm section? a world classy comping creating warm and sweetness all around. Top professional performance!!!
killing piano solo
Nice to see Holger Marjamaa... 🇪🇪
Nobody does it better than John Coltrane and Johnny Hartman. But this cover is really good!
Man, Chad, you're killing it once more! Shoutout to Mr. Chmielinski, it so rare somebody plays that melodically on the double bass!
Much appreciated, thanks!
Man I was thinking the same thing. He made me want to listen...wow...he knew all the right notes to play, the right approaches, how long to hold the notes...wow
How do 11 people NOT dig this?!?!?!?
What a wonderful interpretation of a good old fashioned standard, so soulful, so surprisingly modern, so touching, so technically excellent. Thank you for this gift.
Damned tasty for any decade. I can't be the first to suggest it but your stage name should be Chad Lib.
my mind is blowing away... great articulation, played in a wide range, I love the lowest tones of the sax. And what a great feeling and interpretation. AMAZING!!!
The sweetness of the sax ... those beguiling keyboard harmonies ... and that sax cadenza!
This is sooo great, the piano intro, the duo part, the bass solo was just wonderful, the classic drumming, the outro. Pure greatness throughout.
That was so delicious! Probably my new very fave performance of this song. Beautiful colors. Chad, your tasteful blend of soul and technique are quite inspiring. Great musicians. Piano... OMG. Just stunning. Thank you.
OMG!!!just found this video..nice one..just playing the real melody of the song..just lovin'it..brings back memories..❤😊🇵🇭
Love you Holger!! 1:15
This is an utterly beautiful recording. Chad - your tone and timing is gorgeous and the pianist...oh yes!!
Ok, this is plain sick!! This has been my favorite ballad for year and years. My favorite version is Brecker playing it, I believe with Elvin Jones. This is a completely different style and now my pretty close to equal favorite alongside the Brecker version. THIS IS SO GORGEOUS!!!!!
tremendous - not only great and tasty individual playing, but superb group interaction and dynamics. Thank Jazz for these cats!!
Very Clean and Romantic Performance And Arrangement
Just gorgeous . Saw you with Botti in NYC a few years back . Reggie Hamilton is a friend . Love your touch my man . GD
A lovely rendition. Kudos to all, particularly the pianist for superb comping!
