  • Hello friends!
In this video i am showing you how you can refill your all in one liquid cooler.
AIO liquid coolers are not supposed to open for refill but i know how to open then to refill them or to remove the bubbles so we get rid of the noise in the same time we get a little better performance.
    I hope you have fun!

I have this same type of cooler. I just needed to confirm that was the filling port. The manufacturer did not have any info on that except saying do not tamper. :)

I believe you should clean your radiator first. A dusty jammed radiator is worse than not refilling the whole aio.

what aio do u have. most modern aio can not be refilled unless u strip the pipes

I have the coolermaster seidon 120 version 2 (120 mm)
Most liquid coolers have 2 or 1 hole so it's easy to refill it or else you have to unscrew the copper plate and refill it from there being extra careful on the process because if you lose just 1 rubber you better not put the liquid cooler on your cpu...

Or the copper plate. But hoses are supposed to removable too. Tutorials enough on that.

What paper do you use to filter the water? Is it safe to use deionized water directly without filtering it first?

    • @giannaras2010

      1)Coffee filter
2)if you don't filter the water then it may contain some dust so, i filter it.

@@giannaras2010 What dust? The whole point of deionising is to purify water.

Er you need an expansion allowance for the liquid for when it get warm

Bro, is it safe to mix the coolant inside of the AIO and distilled water?

it's deionized water, i did it and so far i am not running into troubles.
deionized water doesn't make salts and it's not rust metal parts because it's deionized. (remember it's from dehumidifier and NOT from aircondition)

i bought a 2th hand seidon. the pump is making a high pitch (ratling) strange noise.
Can I fix the pump with your methode? does it normaly sound like? or is the pump about to die?! XD

    • @giannaras2010
      @giannaras2010  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Do you think that's due to air? re-adjust the pump so it is lower than radiator so the liquid go to pump (it's bad when the pump runs on "air") if it is due to bubbles (air) then it should fix the problem.
Ensure the problem is due to the bubbles (air) from the pump.
if it's not due to bubbles then it's probably about to die...
P.S. there are air coolers that can perform better than 120mm liquid coolers
how about the "Silver Arrow" (T8 version if you want it for AM4)?

@@giannaras2010 nah i have no clue what is causing the noise. Im into flipping 2th hand gaming pc's. I sold a few pc's that also had a closed loop config. But never heard this sound before.. a saw some video's off people with same problems.. but there solutions was returning to manufactry...😅
Anyway im going to try your method tomorrow

@@MeddyMurphy how about the voltage? Have you connected it to 12v or to 5v? (giving it less voltage than it should, you make it hard to spin properly)

@@giannaras2010 i have 4 pin headers on my board... and this extreem ratling nois is when the pump is on the cpu header.. if i put the pump on casefan header the pump is a little less noisy.. but still irritating as f***.. but in that config .. the fan has to get on the cpu header ... but makes the fan only go 760 rpm max.. no mather what i do in the bios...
      I starting to think i bought a broken cooler😅

Btw deionized water is not the same with distilled water, don't mess those 2. (ex. you can put deionized water in iron to iron your clothes but you can't put distilled water in the iron or else you will have corrosion)
