Thanks for responding so soon. I understand your sweetheart's shyness; which makes it all the more wonderful that you mention her in your videos. You've now made me a forever fan! And I love your sense of humor, too.
I have watched you vlogs for a while now, and I've enjoyed them, but I've enjoyed them even more now that you've slowed down your pace while talking and showing the details about state parks that you visit. Don't get me wrong I love when you ride your scooter through the parks as well . . . but even those video moments have become slower in motion--thank you. It would be nice if you would give us some detail (on a map) as the where the parks are located in the state of Texas, and maybe even some details about how difficult or easy it is to get there. And just one other thing, I love it when you mention your sweetheart, and I like seeing her every once in a while during the opening of your videos. And yes, thank you for servicing our country--in the arm forces!
Lisa I am honored! thank you for following us on our adventures! My sweetheart is a little bit camera shy and can be almost as elusive as bigfoot! LOL! if the hair and makeup is not right I better point the camera the other way or I will never again produce another video! (Im joking! she is not quite that bad) Your suggestions are most appreciated! The new GoPro really makes a huge difference in the whole video production process and I am glad to hear that you have noticed! Thank you so very much for watching and following along!
Love the video. I visited Tyler State Park today and I regret to inform you that the fishing pier in the Brown's Point part of the park has been torn down and is no longer there. If you recall, there also used to be a pier near the playground near the boat rental area. There is only 1 fishing pier left on the far side of the lake near the Blackjack camping area.
That is so sad to hear. Unfortunately that seems to be a common theme is out Texas State Parks these days. I am so glad you enjoyed the video and thanks a whoe bunch for watching!!
wow,,great park,,,but don't forget that trip into tyler,,,,several great things there also,,,,Brookshires food stores have a super little museum type thing there open to the public,,,and free,,,,with lots of stuffed africian animals,,,,,also tyler rose gardens,,,,and most likely the best BBQ in East Texas,,,,Stanleys BBQ,,,just south of downtown,,,oh,,,and the ZOO ! man,,I hope your planning to stay there a while !
Great video Bob! I sure wish we could have met up during our stay, it sounds like we missed each other by mere hours! One of these days we will probably run in to each other! LOL! I think we covered Tyler State Park pretty well between the two of us! Caddo Lake State Park is actually the closest state park to our home by the way! We are planning on staying at Lake Tawakoni State Park at the end of February.
If I had only know I was in your back yard I would have stopped by to say Howdy! I have no doubt that we are going to cross paths and I look forward to that day! thanks for watching!
I'm not sure if they still do it but they use to have a day where scuba divers go out and clean trash out of the lake. After that they drop weights in with little foam floats and you can dive or snorkel to reteive them. They had numbers which corresponded to a prize. I happened to win two free scuba classes and me and my brother were able to get certified. Good times
@@DudeRV yes sir! Seen the Navy vet hat to bad the USS Texas isn't more accessible that would make a entertaining video (and she needs all the publicity and help she can get) thank you for your service!
@@jerredwayne8401 You are very welcome and thank you for the acknowledgement! I will get there some time in the near future. there are a number of places in that area that I want to visit and the Texas is just one of them. The men who served on the ships of that area were truly hardcore sailors and make my generation look like spoiled brats!! They truly deserve all the respect we can give them. Thanks again for your continued support! that is what keeps me going on this crazy mission!
@@DudeRV Youth Conservation Corps. I was employed by them when I was 15 in Nevada. We built trails near North Twin Rivers, about 80 miles from Las Vegas near Tonopah.
We love this park, especially that Lakeview camping loop. They've chanched all the site numbers now when they adopted the latest Reservation methods and also raise the camping fees.
sure enough! I just check and you are correct. they completely renumbered the whole park! I dont remember what the site fee was as I have a Parklands passport for veterans. I think we paid like $20.00 but I see that it is now $30.00
Had I only known! I would have brought the ACME flashlight retriever tool! although there would a concern that it might sink the fishing pier and take me down with it. Thanks for watching!
Looks like a nice park, how's little red holding up, did you go swimming while you were there. Haha , have a Blessed Day and as always REMEMBER JESUS LOVES YOU
I liked this park, very nice job like always.
Thanks I really enjoyed making these videos too! thanks a bunch for watching!

My favorite state park also. I may be a little partial also. Live within an hour. We like site 44 in big pine.
You are very lucky to have this beauty so close! thanks a bunch for watching and subbing!
Yes sir I agree. Thank you.
Leslie's parents live close to there. Looks like it might be a good place to stay when we go to visit them.
You can never go wrong with a stay here! Be advised that you need to plan way ahead for the spring and summer. thanks for watching and subbing!

There is a real nice flashlight under the first fishing doc. I know because I dropped it there😂😏. Water was way to deep to retrieve it from. I tried.
