As a 16 year old trying to find themselves this is way too relateable. I especially empathize with Journey, the quiet little "...hey" while not really knowing how to continue the conversation, and being a part of the shitty half of the friendgroup. Really awesome nostalgic weirdcore vibes ❤
During all this play-through, I had this strange fluttery feeling in my heart and stomach. You managed to make something that could really make you feel the feelings that were playing on screen. Dread, unease, nostalgia, calm... Man, those aren't simple to depict materially. If this was an animated show or a graphic novel, oh hell, it would easily be my favorite. You did an incredible job with the identification that the player can arrange with the character, even if they haven't experienced the things that the characters did. Damn good job, nothing to point out (sorry for bad English, as an Italian I had to practically learn it by myself, at school they don't teach half the things you need to know)
Your English is pretty great actually! Ngl I completely agree, the vn has such a sweet, nostalgic vibe while also being creepy enough to put you on edge at times. I love how the things they do in the true ending actually feel like realistic depictions of a bunch of friends hanging out for the summer in a small town without social media, and it's making me miss something I've never had lol. Also the slime costume picture was so much cuter than I was expecting haha, especially after ending 2 I loved seeing how heartwarming that day actually was vs the way the costume suffocated him in his acid trip
gosh everything about this is increidble. as a new college freshman the sentiment of the story really hits home. even made me tear up at the end! i really hope you continue with these characters and their stories!!!
Haven’t watched the full video yet, but I’m already getting a nostalgic wave of Night in the Woods vibes in the best way possible. It’s that small-town, tired of a mundane midlife existence and searching for a spark of passion, occasionally rebelling against the system and having fireside chats with acquaintances/old friends sort-of feel. The kids who got burned out from school and are simply trying to make a living and scrappily survive somehow. Your voice is perfect for the narration-honestly couldn’t imagine this artstyle being associated with anyone who doesn’t have that slight vocal gravel. Love how grounded the characters feel (balancing school, work, and social life do be HARDDDD) and the music is so cozy & full of comfort. I’m listening to this before passing out for the night…been so focused on writing an essay that time blurred away the whole day, so I’m cramming in indulgent TH-cam time last minute to make up for it lol. The atmosphere here makes it seem like I’m listening to a bedtime story, something I haven’t had since very early childhood…I think I missed having bedtime stories more than I realized. This sooths me greatly. Thank you for making cool shit

I just played the entire thing in one sitting, WOAH THAT WAS GOOD SO DUDE!!! As a 17 yr old whos only got one semester left before graduation i empathized so much with Dimitri man, really only got one last summer before everything changes, its the feeling of wanting to escape so badly to your own life, yet wanting to do nothing more than hide under your blanket and stay at home forever 10/10

This is amazing, the second I saw the video was ending I felt this sense of sadness as I just wanted more. The characters friendship is so believable and sweet, and the character designs are all so good. You managed to establish this whole world and get me so invested in such a short amount of time. Truly amazing, I can’t wait to see what you’ll make next.

I’m out of words, this is just so good?? it’s makes me want to cry but my eyes can’t water right now. I just love the ambient so much…specially since i just finished highschool. It hits really deep. Honestly i think that the music and your voice add to the atmosphere like a cherry on top.
I played the game like… when it get released, and I had the three endings in… 45 min, I had a really good time! Congrats, the game is really good (and Dimitri is way too cool).
