The fact his wife refuses to even pay the family after everything her husband did is truly sickening. But then again, if she can stomach being married to such a monster, I wouldn't be surprised if she is one as well.
If your not a Filipino, you might think the jail time this Mayor did was justice. No. Inside the penitentiary, he lived like a King. Continuing all his illegal businesses outside to fund his VIP life inside. Getting women, drugs, family visits. This is life. Evil owns the world.
@@lehsu He died while COVID regulations were still in place everywhere. One of the regulations, if I recall correctly, is that prisoners who died would be cremated immediately. A huge part of me wishes he was actually cremated and that he was still alive and conscious when they shoved him into the oven.
@@darthbiker2311 Pretty sure he's still alive. A lot of high-profile criminals died in correctional facilities during the height of COVID. You can't just expect everyone to believe that these cocksuckers died to the communist virus when some of them probably got the vaccine earlier than some essential workers, mainly those who work in the hospital. The pandemic was just one of many excuses they had to finally leave their kingdoms though some did choose to stay.
This is what I admire about Filipino people when they heard that the criminal might be release they protested and got very angry but in Japan no one fought for Furuta Junko when they released those criminals.
@@marloyorkrodriguez9975 Yes, but I want to say is the people from Philippines who actually fight for justice for the victim, in this case people did not kept quiet when they heard about the possible release of the criminal, many citizens get mad and protested unlike for Junko people from Japan kept quiet when they released the suspects.
They will have eternal life kay Jesus sila Eileen at Allan. Grabe ang sinapit nila pero may Justice kay God. Lahat ng napatay nbiktima wala man dito ang Justice sa mundo kay God meron tayong Justice.Itong si Sanchez at mga kampon niya waiting si satanas sa hell sknila
I’m a science Student. Semen can sometimes fill the cork of a water bottle. Seven men can fill somewhere around 4 tablespoons. A WHOLE CAN OF SARDINES? This is the stuff of nightmares. I can’t even imagine how long that lasted.. God provide her with a peaceful rest❤
*I was 8 years old when this happened. It was all over the news, and it was so, so horrific. Then I remember visiting Bilibid in 2002 for our school’s National Service Training Program (NSTP). We were able to speak with prisoners at the maximum security area, where infamous prisoners like Hubert Webb and Sanchez were held. It was a Sunday so we attended a mass at chapel 9, and there we saw Sanchez lining up to take communion. He was no longer supporting that infamous hairdo. The prisoner **_assigned_** to me jokingly said, **_”Don’t meet his eyes. He’d smile at you creepily. You’re a girl.”_** Sanchez didn’t look at us for too long nor smile at us, but still, when his gaze went our way for a split second, chills went up my spine. It’s weird seeing the man in the flesh.* *And this case prompted my mum not to allow my younger sister to pursue her studies at UPLB though she passed the entrance exams there. It was already 2006, thirteen years since that crime, but Mum was still feeling cautious to allow my sister to study there.*
I heard there was another student from UPLB who got raped and killed. I don't remember the details but she was on her way to her dorm from a late night class when two men dragged her in the tall grass and did the deed there. This happened sometime in the early 2010s. Your mom has every right to be afraid
I was in high school when this case blew up. All the pieces of 💩 who did this to Eileen and Allan have died in prison but Sanchez's family still deny his wrongdoing. I hope that wherever they are, they endlessly suffer for what they have done.
To this day, this story still makes my blood boil. Let us also honor the brave investigators and prosecutors who worked tirelessly in order to convict the filth of a Mayor. I listened to one investigator in one post graduate seminar, their group were working non-stop just to find any trace of evidence in order to support the prosecutor's case, it was a pain for detectives as the mayor's property was thoroughly cleaned stating that it was one of the most professional clean up they ever experienced. Their hardwork paid off when they were able to discover a strand of fiber and a sort of plastic material resembling a piece of a button which was later examined to have contained blood and was a positive match to that belonging to the victim when she died. To this day i commend their hard work and bravery and that message from them still serves as my inspiration today
Philiphin is extreemely corrupt country, you will never know the truth who is who and who has done this, May be the judges got it right may be not , this is a country that truth does not exist except lies and corruptions.

Also goes to show what my professors in Psychology were pointing out for years - the Philippines truly is the Narcissistic Capital of the world. That zero empathy is part and parcel of someone with NPD.
"The autopsy and vaginal examination conducted by prosecution witness Dr Vladmir Villasenor, medico-legal officer of the PNP-CIS, on Eileen's cadaver buttresses all the more (verified) the gang-rape story of the prosecution. Dr Villasenor's findings, in a nutshell, disclosed the presence of multiple contusions on Eileen's body, fresh shallow lacerations on her hymen, a congested cervix, a gaping labia majora and oozing whitish fluid (tested positive for spermatozoa) from the vaginal opening. Oozing spermatozoa, Dr Villasenor explained, means that the amount of semen was much more than the vaginal canal could contain and that there were several seminal ejaculations that occurred therein. He also noted that the great quantity of whitish fluid continued to ooze from Eileen's vaginal opening despite her death for several hours". In another account, it states that the semen recovered from her body was able to fill a one-litre can. One ejaculate is about a tablespoon. All those tablespoons means one helluva HUGE pinoy gangbang.
"Power" has infiltrated their system, leaving them desensitized. Poor souls. Here in the Philippines, one must be extremely cautious to avoid trouble and safeguard oneself, as justice system is not reliable. I suppose this issue isn't limited to the Philippines alone. After all, we do live in a broken world. Praying for everyone.
I can't imagine how much horrified Eileen was with what she experienced. Being raped multiple times by someone a demon mayor, witnessing your close friend being killed and being raped again by different mens and killed afterwards. How could they do something like this? Are they still human? Haven't they felt any conscience while doing this? Eileen and Allan may you're souls rest in peace and I do pray that the people who did this to you will not only be punished in their life in here but will also punish after death. The worst part is watching the faces of this criminals I can't even see any remorese. I hope Eileen and his friend will have eternal peace and happiness in heaven and If reincarnation does exist, I hope they'll be reincarnated with a blessed life.
Exactly, there's indeed reincarnation, some people who have died with a trauma, will remember their past life. . . LMN youtube channel has evidence of these kind of reincarnated people
so refreshing to see a true crime channel cover cases outside of east asia and the US. loving the consistency and quality of the videos too thanks a bunch megan!
IT'S THAT CASE. OHMIGAWD SHE'S FINALLY COVERING THAT CASE i was just a year old when that case happened. it was a very public case for a few years, i remember it being talked all over the news and the papers and on tv all the time, but being a child that time, i didn't know much until i recently researched about the cases in my country. the most prominent ones in the 70s-90s, and this was among them edit: i just finished watching the entire episode and almost wept. this story is still raw to people who grew up listening to this case, and given that the crime was against UPLB students, a university known for activists against corrupt government, this case remains as a continuous reminder to those who would like to question the authorities even in sanchez's final interview, he vehemently denied the allegations and managed to smirk and laugh at the camera while the interviewer remained trying to keep himself composed. many speculated that the interviewer wanted to jump at the ex-mayor for blatantly lying to the cameras. for those who are not familiar with the case, one could be swayed by the man's words until the viewer digs deep into what happened on that night he really was a despicable man. the same goes to his equally despicable family as well. and megan is right. it really was karma that did him. thank you for covering this case!
What’s crazy is even his wife and family denies the truth. I get it, family stick together. But how can a mother, a woman like the victim can stomach all of this. And for his kids, how can they be so proud of their father. I mean If I was related to him, damn I’d disown myself.. It’s really disgusting.
Megan should cover the case of Naoyuki Kano, an unsolved mystery about a man that was found inside of a septic tank. What makes this case so weird is how did he get in there. Yes the septic tank can fit a man but it's barely enough to fit. And once you enter, you *cannot* get out (the police had to deconstruct the toilet and septic tank just to retrieve the body). So how did he get in there and who put him there? Because I doubt he would voluntarily go there by himself knowing that he can't get out
I have seen this case b4...am still curious on how he got in there, how is that even possible.....am still confused too..I wish to know what happened to him exactly
It is so painful for a parent to lose a child that he or she had cherished all their life.Their parents took these children to study and have a brighter future but their dreams were cut short by a man who had his own selfish desires
i live in Singapore and i can kinda relate to these crimes you cover weekly, unlike the ones i hear from places further than asia. thank you for the weekly vids, pls continue making them!!
This was legit horrifying. 😭 unfortunately, these people in power exist here until today. They have no qualms in abusing their position because they've gotten away with it so many times. Money and political influence are really big factors in the Philippines. Thats just how it goes in developing countries. More people should open their eyes. So sad to say these things are still happening today. Take care everyone!
CORRECT STILL HAPPENING IN THE SENATE THEY ARE INVESTIGATING THE DEGAMO CASE THERE SO MANY KILLINGS HAPPENING IN NIGROS OCCIDENTAL INVOLVING TEVES AND HIS POLICE ARMYS HOPEFULLY AND I PRAY TEVES AND ALL INVOLVED IN KILLING WELL GO TO JAIL
The sad part is that money clouds the eyes of the voting populace. And it's not even their fault. When you're scrounging for scraps in a garbage dump for hours on end just to have something to eat, a few hundred pesos given all at once will be seen as a blessing, no matter from whose hand it came from. Some have to swallow their pride just for the temporary alleviation of hunger.
And of course monsters like this keep seeking positions in government because we keep giving them reason to. Look at how angry Filipinos get when I demand that we shrink Big Government.
@@400cabal "Poverty excuse" here is an OVERATED, for a country's GDP growing at 6% above per year and poverty rates have been continuously declining, due to experiencing an economic and industrial boom, you're stil try to defame the progress of the country, overreport supposed "pOvEtY" and deprecate its nation and race. Developing country isn't even a rightful term for us, us we are experiencing tremendous development, we're what international economist call "a newly Industrialized Country."
this case was one of the most talked about.... i can still remember some well known cases like the chop chop lady elsa castillo case, vizconde masacre, chiong sisters murder case, the jalosjos case and recently the "my father is a policeman" case. 😟🥺
@@overbored617as much as it's funny, we probably shouldn't laugh at it. The song was popular back then to the point that old people know it, the old lady probably said it to mimic the girl who spoke in english.
I was in nursery when this happened. This, I reckon, was my introduction to the word ' r*pe', as one of my reading activities back then was reading news articles aloud in front of my parents. It was really huge scandal and we would also see this brute as the devil incarnate. Crimes in the Philippines in the 90's were really insane and the perpetrators were often the rich people.
Hi Megan, I want to just shoot a quick message that your channel is by far one of the best ones that cover Asian cases. I adore the fact that you include not only East Asian cases such as Japan or Hong Kong but SEA and parts of West Asia. You narration feels real and expresses sympathy towards the victims and the families. Really well structured speech as well. Thank you.
this case happened before i was born, but i realized why it sounded so familiar when you mentioned the tv in that guy's cell. so sad & infuriating what eileen, allan and their families had to go through. i can't imagine being her dormmates & having to identify her as well. awful case all around
It was fortunate because their bodies weren't buried, they were just dumped and abandoned, most probably because they were getting sloppier and sloppier thinking they would get away with it without burying their victims.
18:48 Hi Megan, this is one of the most brutal and controversial crime here in the Philippines way back in the 90’s. And when you feature this story it brings me back to my childhood days. This story however has a movie, Humanda Ka Mayor!: Bahala Na Ang Diyos!, and was portray by Kris Aquino as Eileen. This is a very sad and unimaginable story and makes you wonder how humans act and behave like animals.
As a med intern, I got to examine Sanchez in his “cell” in Camp Crame. Isaid “cell”bec its like a little house with a little outside area where there was a table and chairs where his former bodyguards who were now his cellmates were hanging out when I went in there with a nurse. inside the house, it’s decked with the usual appliances, tv, stove, refrigerator and this life like statue of virgin Mary garbed in white and gold. His chubby wife was in there performing hot oil therapy on his implant hair. He was creepy Ishud say, and was leering and flirting with me 😤😫 just saying that he was still living the life of an ordibary Filipino in his “cell”.
@@flickerfadgone Absolutely. They were treated like VIPs and had better accommodations than ur ordinary Filipino. To think he,d been there for years before he was moved to a regular prison cell. whereas the family of his victims were perpetually imprisoned in their grief and suffering. Philippine judticr system had beed as rotten af. if u got d money, ud surely get a better deal
I still remember how this case rocked the country. Made more despicable by how the mayor kept using the virgin mary's name as if this would exonerate him from suspicion. And how it took so long to put this man behind bars, due to his wealth and power.
I am a UPLB Alumni and this story still haunts me to this day. Our community is one of the safest in our country. In a way you can walk around the campus at night freely and try to relax with the cool breeze from the trees while viewing the stars. It's this exact safety net that allows some criminals to take advantage of UPLB. I wish there were more preventive measures like multiple checkpoints throughout the campus as it is the largest campus in the country and has multiple entry and exit points
I was a senior in the same uni when this happened. Very close to home. Although I did not know Eileen and Allan personally, the attack on them brutally destroyed our sense of security in the campus. It pains me to listen to this again because we were all afraid, shocked and felt the violation as if it all happened to us. The university had a curfew set for safety. Killer and rapists were still on the loose. During the investigation, we felt someone was manipulating facts because the spread of misinformation was so palpable. It was a small community when one knows someone who relay bits of facts and these info were verified through this network. First few months of reports were all shenanigans. Somebody was clearly feeding the news misinformation. I never trusted the media from then on. When the corcolons, the rest of the goons and even that wicked man of a mayor was finally named, students went to Calauan. We had a protest there near the pineapple monument. Brings back the memories and the pain of lives lost. Their parents having to endure the shameful way the investigation was handled. It was personal when you are in the vicinity of a tight knit community. This has influenced me to raise my children to be wary of their dealings with politicians and their men.
i'm a filipino who hasn't heard this before (wasn't even born when it happened). this case honestly makes my blood boil, plain and simple. if i could wish a thousand curses on sanchez and his accomplices, wherever they or their souls may be, i would. shame on sanchez's family as well. but also, it's saddening how eileen and allan's lives were cut short, and how their families are affected. injustices and abuses by those in power still run rampant in this country, and it makes me a teeny tiny bit scared too. what if i, or somebody i knew, become its targets?

Oh God... you finally covered this gruesome case... Back in 2010, I was just a curious person who decide to check the affidavit of this whole case online - since this case is resolved, the whole court papers including all the statements word-per-word and the decision of the judge and jury is made accessible to public... What I read gave me nightmares... What Eileen suffered is just unimaginable... To think that an authority who is supposed to protect us is the culprit of the crime makes me fear humanity... I am just glad that there is a saving grace - which is the 2 honest police man who didn't join the torture and rape of the two victims and eventually sided with the actual law and became the voice for the victims... If not for them, no justice will be served... To think that mayor Sanchez, to this date, still claims he has no participation on the victims demise show he has no remorse on what he did, yet he had the audacity to file for a parole due to old age...
OHMYGOD THANK YOU FOR COVERING THIS CASE! I used to study in UP Los Banos (2011-2015) and we all knew about this case. One of my close friends is actually a relative of Sanchez and they are ashamed of him. Unfortunately another r*pe case happened during my time in UP as well (the case of Given Grace, 2011). I think a couple more happened a few years later but the police blacked out the media because the cases were making their way to the senate (dumb, i know) so it was not as documented. Los Banos is an amazing place, it's actually my favorite in the world. I had the best time living there but it can be very very dangerous. I bet one could make a crime series from this place alone.
I stayed there a few times and yes, I loved the place. But I dared not go out at night, for obvious reasons. Also, Laguna never seems to run out of crimes every single day, almost like a staple for the evening news.
You should cover the Vietnamese crime case of the chicken delivery girl. Sadly she was delivering chickens and went missing. 3 days later she was found dead and stranggled. This crime isn't very popular, and I really hope you could cover more crime cases in vietnam.
What a lowlife for him to confidently say “he doesn't need to rape women” in court even as a Mayor, well known person that means he doesn't view women as human an opposite gender of male just like him, he definitely treats and view women as objects. Which is so fk up & disturbingly disgusting and also he didn't just raped women or a woman, he raped Eileen and brutally murdered her and her friend. RIP Eileen and your friend. I hope both families recover from this even just a little also, I know it's totally impossible to recover from this so sad😢😢 Edit: damn even the mayor wife and family are disgusting just like him🤢🤮
I went to her school as well. My parents were really scared and was not so comfortable in sending me there alone bec of what happened to her. We thought it was safer since we had more patrol and security, but I think in 2011, another female student was found dead. I think she was raped as well. Her name was Given Grace. She was only 19 at the time. :(
up until now, this case brings me chills. when i was in high school, we had a field trip in the victim's school since it's a common place to go to academic trips for it's structure and museums. our teacher told us this case while we're on our way to los banos and we were all scared. the university is surrounded by trees, plants, shrubs which make it more eerie.

I am absolutely speechless. My heart goes out to Eileen and Allan as well as their friends and families. They had to endure hours of senseless brutality before being murdered simply because some powerful men wanted to use them as playthings. While those gutter-scum didn't get away with the crime, the only semblance of justice is for the same torture (and more) to be inflected upon these monstrous men. It's so horrifying that people so evil are in positions of power. Sanchez may have died in prison, but what came of the other disgusting rapist-murderers?
This is one of the most brutal crimes/injustices in Philippine history. I’ve been waiting for someone to cover this. Thank you, Megan, for finally covering it.
I am also a student of UPLB and until now, nobody can forget this case because fighting for its justice is everything we stand up for as a UP student. These corrupt politicians are disgusting and rotten to their cores, and how their influence their subjects toward their evil path makes me wanna vomit.
Hi Megan, I just want to say that you’re doing a great job! I’m a Filipino and I’m an avid watcher of your uploads! I always check from time to time whether you have new ones!! Please keep creating more videos, you’re really beautiful and talented. Love your voice and your channel! Rooting for your 200k subscribers pretty soon!
Oh Megan! Thank you so much for covering this case! I actually suggested this to you couple of months back and I am so glad I did! More power to your channel! ❤ Maraming salamat po from the Philippines 🇵🇭
I’m Filipina, and I’ve never heard of this story before. Such tragic! I’ve only heard of The Vizconde Massacre. Megan, can you cover the story of Vizconde Massacre?
What an horrific case, in moments like this it's when I hope hell exists and that individuals like Sanchez and his group stay there for eternity. RIP Eileen and Allan, may their souls and their families find peace.
Love the story especially I'm also from the PH, you should cover the gruesome murder of Christine Lee Silawan, the girl who got assaulted and had her face skinned beyond recognition
Sanchez is now dead. Good riddance. Until the end he never admitted his dastardly crimes. I hope his soul burns in hell for eternity while his victims are laughing in delight.
Kudos to Megan and to her staff for a thorough research to cover this case. Please also look the Ampatuan Case. That is also so surreal heartbreaking case. Hope the victims get the justice they deserved.
I really appreciated that you cover this case, these two young bright students does not deserve what they've been through. Justice is painful here in the Philippines, rich and powerful can afford it and also manipulate the process. It's frustrating.
This is so embarrassing. I hope he rot in jail. I wasn't born during this time, but hearing that this happen in my own country, I really hope the students got their justice.
Ex Mayor Sanchez died in prison a couple years ago; he's had several illnesses; kidney, asthma, prostate. The other 6 of his cohorts will probably die in prison because even if they all qualify for early release for good behavior, the public will again be outraged and the president shall be pressured again to veto their release.
Hi Megan you should cover the Visconde massacre case it was one of the most sensational case in the Philippines, being described as a trial of the century in 90s. This case was sensationalized not only because of the gruesome crime but also because the suspects in this case are belongs from the prominent families here in the Philippines. In fact theres several movies about this case.
He was sentenced to seven life term but today he was already dead. He died inside the prison with so many conflicting sickness. His wealth cannot buy his freedom and sufferred inside his prison cell.
Leaving you a like for now! I will have to take my time and ready myself before I could listen again about this case. It makes my blood boil so much every time I hear about it... thanks so much for covering this!
This is one of the most gruesome, sickening and terrifying crimes you’d ever read. I hope hell was real for each and every suspect and accomplices who killed both Eileen and Allan, and that may they truly rest in peace from all the brutality they endured.
If this case wasn't brought extensively to the media, the mayor's cover-up would've pushed through. I remember at the early stages of investigations there was a young son of a general who was dragged into the case, which in turn conducted a private investigations of his own and at the end led to the arrest of the mayor's driver,,,, Mr. Centeno.
cases like these are sadly not so new in the philippines, and it is gruesome and heartbreaking to hear them happen...and even so, when you mentioned the detail about the *sardine can*...i had to pause the video and distract myself for a few minutes. just how vile can these evil men be. it terrified me and made me feel so sorry for eileen. this one detail sent unpleasant chills down my spine. every corrupt official who does this sick shit deserves more than hell...and i can only hope the students' spirits rest in peace and that their families can still live their lives... (and even then, knowing how life is for families of crime victims in the philippines, its not looking so good.) thank you megan for bringing important cases to light on your channel. some of these happen in my own country and i barely even know of them. its so important to keep people informed. using this comment as an opportunity to bring up Jennifer Laude again. please let these voices be heard!
I was in first grade when this happened. My heart breaks for Eileen and Allan.😢 Must have been beyond horrendous to be put through all that. Sad part is that eventhough those men were put behind bars Sanchez was still able to use his connections to live comfortably.

I was 10 years old when this happened. We had a classmate who, obviously against school regulations, sported the same hair as that head rapist and we endlessly teased him for it. Until one of our boys actually told us off because it wasn't funny. Years later I read and understood this case more fully once I had internet access. My classmate was right - it was no joke at all. I was shaking with rage by the time I finished one article on the case's timeline. Thanks Megan for covering this and so many other stories that languish in obscurity and darkness. Being immersed in stories like these isn't easy. Keep your head up and more power to you.
I am studying at the same university she did, and the same undergraduate degree as her. Her story is infamous in our campus. Until today, there is still a lot of fear especially going out at night.
I've heard first-hand accounts of this story from the victims' friends, but I still cried while watching this. This is too much. His family still has no shame! It sucks he died, but hell is a better prison for him and his men anyway. No aircon there.
Omg! This case is so shocking, horrifying and sickening. He was a shameless man but his family was even worse than him. His death really was karma. I hope he will burn in hell for eternity.
I just tuned in to your podcast for the first time, and I must say, I'm thoroughly impressed by your speaking style. Your unique delivery and engaging presence have left me in awe, and I'm excited to become a subscriber from now on.
*According to court documents, Eileen’s body, while still in the vehicle owned by Allan Gomez’s family, was driven around the campus by the police officers **_(the very ones who killed her)_** on the morning of 29th June 1993, **_”hoping that she could be identified by her schoolmates”._** So in a way, the crime scene was disturbed and her body, in that very gruesome state, was displayed for everyone to see. She was really violated in life and in death.*
I was a freshman in the same university where Eileen and Allan went to when this happened. My dorm roommate even saw their dead body covered with newspaper after they were recovered. These heartless and evil culprits are just disgusting
It doesn't look like Eileen Sarmienta was the first woman that they gang raped and murdered. Both students are from a prominent university and why the crime caught so much media attention. I could only imagine how easy it was for them to cover up a victim from less fortunate background. Those are grown men who are supposed to protect the people in their community.
Pretty much nothing has changed since then. Crimes are still being perpetrated by those in authority and are getting away with it. We can only hope that in some way they will not find peace in their souls. Thank you for covering this case, Megan and team. job well done again.
Miss Megan, Thank you very much for covering this story. I think this is your 2nd case from the Philippines. I have heard about this horrific case but I didn't know the whole story. Also, you perfectly pronounce their names.. You have a perfect pronunciations😍😍😍 Looking forward for more cases.. More power to your channel.❤️❤️❤️
There's this old murder case also in the Philippines called The Murder Case of Lucila Lalu: the chop chop lady. I hope you can cover this case in the future.
What a horrendous nightmare for Eileen and Allen! It’s scary to see how positions of power and feelings of being untouchable by the law let some people allow their darkest natures free rein. The selfishness, cruelty, and just grossness of treating a vulnerable human in such a manner is nauseating. Prison seems inadequate to punish what was suffered by Eileen and Allen. Better than nothing, but some pain and torment for the ex mayor and his henchmen would be nice. Just to let them sample a nugget of the suffering they caused 🤔
Really loved all of your crime videos. Hopefully, you will cover the case of Chiong Sisters. It was one of the best Filipino crime documentaries for me so far.
The wife is as crazy as her husband. Not paying the damages, dishonor to the court's decision and finding his evil husband as not guilty. She's closing her eyes to her husband's wicked ways.Anyway good job for clearly narrating this Story of Eileen.Keep it up!
Holy shit u finally covered this 😭😭 hearing this sent chills down my spine... the way they did away with those two students was heartbreaking 😩 anyways, if you don't mind would you cover the chop chop lady elsa castillo case? this case was so notorious it spawned two adaptations. it was so horrible and disgusting...
wow, this story is so sad, not only was it absolute horrific what they did to those kids, but to finish it by murdering them, thats absolutely barbaric. hope that man rots in hell.
The fact his wife refuses to even pay the family after everything her husband did is truly sickening. But then again, if she can stomach being married to such a monster, I wouldn't be surprised if she is one as well.
She is, there is a reason why they're married.
Typical crab mentality
Birds of the same feathers flock together
If your not a Filipino, you might think the jail time this Mayor did was justice. No. Inside the penitentiary, he lived like a King. Continuing all his illegal businesses outside to fund his VIP life inside. Getting women, drugs, family visits. This is life. Evil owns the world.

@@darthbiker2311 Pretty sure he's still alive. A lot of high-profile criminals died in correctional facilities during the height of COVID. The pandemic was just one of many excuses they had to finally leave their kingdoms though some did choose to stay.
This is what I admire about Filipino people when they heard that the criminal might be release they protested and got very angry but in Japan no one fought for Furuta Junko when they released those criminals.

It’s weird seeing the man in the flesh.*

I heard there was another student from UPLB who got raped and killed.

IT'S THAT CASE. OHMIGAWD SHE'S FINALLY COVERING THAT CASE
i was just a year old when that case happened. it was a very public case for a few years, i remember it being talked all over the news and the papers and on tv all the time, but being a child that time, i didn't know much until i recently researched about the cases in my country. the most prominent ones in the 70s-90s, and this was among them
edit: i just finished watching the entire episode and almost wept. this story is still raw to people who grew up listening to this case, and given that the crime was against UPLB students, a university known for activists against corrupt government, this case remains as a continuous reminder to those who would like to question the authorities
even in sanchez's final interview, he vehemently denied the allegations and managed to smirk and laugh at the camera while the interviewer remained trying to keep himself composed. many speculated that the interviewer wanted to jump at the ex-mayor for blatantly lying to the cameras. for those who are not familiar with the case, one could be swayed by the man's words until the viewer digs deep into what happened on that night
he really was a despicable man. the same goes to his equally despicable family as well. and megan is right. it really was karma that did him.

Because I doubt he would voluntarily go there by himself knowing that he can't get out
Almost like Elisa Lam's case
Do you mean the man in the utube pipe of a squatting toilet?
That man purposely went inside the septic tank because of his perverted intention. Somehow he got stucked and eventually died from suffocation.

I am absolutely speechless. My heart goes out to Eileen and Allan as well as their friends and families. They had to endure hours of senseless brutality before being murdered simply because some powerful men wanted to use them as playthings. While those gutter-scum didn't get away with the crime, the only semblance of justice is for the same torture (and more) to be inflected upon these monstrous men. cases like these are sadly not so new in the philippines, and it is gruesome and heartbreaking to hear them happen...and even so, when you mentioned the detail about the *sardine can*...i had to pause the video and distract myself for a few minutes. just how vile can these evil men be. it terrified me and made me feel so sorry for eileen. this one detail sent unpleasant chills down my spine. every corrupt official who does this sick shit deserves more than hell...and i can only hope the students' spirits rest in peace and that their families can still live their lives... (and even then, knowing how life is for families of crime victims in the philippines, its not looking so good.)
thank you megan for bringing important cases to light on your channel. some of these happen in my own country and i barely even know of them. its so important to keep people informed.
using this comment as an opportunity to bring up Jennifer Laude again. please let these voices be heard!
I was in first grade when this happened. My heart breaks for Eileen and Allan.😢 Must have been beyond horrendous to be put through all that. Sad part is that eventhough those men were put behind bars Sanchez was still able to use his connections to live comfortably.
He died so easily. Lived comfortably even though he was imprison.
I was eagerly waiting for your new video
Love your explanation megan
I am living for this channel! ❤
This is why I don't even want to see any politicians and police.
Another great upload from Megan!
1k to 200k lets gooooooo!! so happy for you megan
I was a freshman in the same university where Eileen and Allan went to when this happened. My dorm roommate even saw their dead body covered with newspaper after they were recovered. These heartless and evil culprits are just disgusting
This is one crime that literally made my blood boil 🤬 RIP, Eileen and Allan 😞
It doesn't look like Eileen Sarmienta was the first woman that they gang raped and murdered. Both students are from a prominent university and why the crime caught so much media attention. I could only imagine how easy it was for them to cover up a victim from less fortunate background. Those are grown men who are supposed to protect the people in their community.
I love the way you pronounced and the way u relay the story.... very clear and precise.... ❤❤❤
I hope Megan can cover the case Maguad Siblings. The story is like "The orphan" who killed her adoptive siblings who is also her best friend.
Watch the Univited, Vilma Santos. Parang dito based.
You have a perfect pronunciations😍😍😍
Looking forward for more cases..
More power to your channel.❤️❤️❤️
Damn everyone just talks about eileen but no one cares about allan😢
Nice coverage. Thank you for featuring this in your channel.
There's this old murder case also in the Philippines called The Murder Case of Lucila Lalu: the chop chop lady. I hope you can cover this case in the future.
Your vedios are just amazing and I love watching your vedios always ❤ i've watched your every vedios... you did a great job 😊
Caesara' wife: I will act the part and keep all the benefits. going the other way to Justice? No gain, no benefit to ME.
I just love listening to your voice and how you tell the story
Holy shit u finally covered this 😭😭 hearing this sent chills down my spine... the way they did away with those two students was heartbreaking 😩 anyways, if you don't mind would you cover the chop chop lady elsa castillo case? this case was so notorious it spawned two adaptations. it was so horrible and disgusting...
wow, this story is so sad, not only was it absolute horrific what they did to those kids, but to finish it by murdering them, thats absolutely barbaric.
hope that man rots in hell.
