    Mike Lombardo - Great video to understand the basics of ServiceNow. Thank you for putting it together and sharing it with the world ! Very useful for starters like me! Much appreciated. 👏👏👏

    Michael, great overview of SN especially for a rookie like me. As a new employee in the SN space and with only 9 days of SN experience, this video really helped "turn on the light" for the first time for me. Everyone who is a SN expert needs to learn the art of explaining the platform in a blue collar way as you did here in this video.

    Very great presentation from Micheal. Absolutely tragic to hear of his passing. I'm glad to still be able to learn from him beyond all of that though. Cheers everyone.

    Excellent!
    I am tangentially part of a large organization that uses ServiceNow.
    I only looked it up because I have a ServiceNow email in my spam folder and was looking to see if it was indeed spam or if I should consider it.
    This review did not touch that topic, but clarified for me some of my dealings with the organization when I had to update name and email etcetera in their system over three different departments.
    Very helpful, also, in triggering thoughts of how I could/should be evaluating and documenting processes in my own work.
    This is getting bookmarked to refer to for reinforcement of those thoughts.
    Thank you! Your “simplicity” has served its purpose (or at least a good purpose). 😊

    What is ServiceNow ? A strange elaborate beast so faceted and involuted no one on youtube can summarize it in less than 20 minutes.
    Dude below in comments has been on a serviceNow team for 9 days and needed this video to make sense of it. Yowza.

      It can also be described in one sentence if you’d like. “A workflow platform which has multiple applications out of the box and the ability to build and roll out additional applications quickly”

    How is Service Now applicable to a Facilities Department? I need to track equipment that was worked on. I need to track departments that work was completed in.

    At 16:05, you mentioned before ServiceNow, each business unit e.g. IT, HR, Legal, etc had their processes housed in a different application. Is this an oversimplification? Am I right in thinking Salesforce, for example, has business processes for different business units e.g. customer service, IT, HR.
    In summary
    1. Does ServiceNow provide anything that another platform like Salesforce does not provide?
    2. Doesn't provide business processes for different business units
    Great video btw.. very helpful!

    • @MichaelLombardoGlide
      @MichaelLombardoGlide 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      IMO: Sales force is built on older technology originally built to only support one process (sales) thus making application development more difficult. I also believe it wasn’t created to be a true platform which allows for multiple applications built on top of it.
      All of that completely opposite for ServiceNow.

    What is the main concern(s) of using ServiceNow rather than SalesForce?

    • @MichaelLombardoGlide
      @MichaelLombardoGlide 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      IMO: Sales force is built on older technology originally built to only support one process (sales) thus making application development more difficult. I also believe it wasn’t created to be a true platform which allows for multiple applications built on top of it.

    Going forward do you think ServiceNow will be bigger than Salesforce?
    Salesforce built for sales, grew into a cloud ERP
    Servicenow built for IT, grew into cloud ERP

    • @MichaelLombardoGlide
      @MichaelLombardoGlide 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I do believe it will due to the fact that it is a true business workflow platform and the ease and speed of application development.
