I've been using this as the theme tune/intro to my Rime of the Frostmaiden sessions. I listen to it when I'm doing game prep, really helps get me in the mood/headspace!
Dang, now I want to try to draw a character I have in mind for this campaign! (Too bad I don't have anything to make a rough sketch of them.) I will definitely share this with my D&D group!
I started this campaign as my first ever venture as a DM this last winter and this track has accompanied me since then. This music is incredible. Always gets me in the mood to read the book some more. Keep up the great work!

My parents and sister wanted to try playing D&D so I got this book as a trial, a bit long, fun and interesting way to bring them into the game. When Auriel has her offerings they happened to stay in a town that has the humanoid sacrificial raffle. The party immediately set off to try and rescue an old woman. A half hour later they spotted a figure out in the tundra night and approached, and as they neared they witnessed Auriel claim the offering. Being beginners they immediately tried to fight the FROSTMAIDEN! Needless to say, I had pre planed this and she teleported away from their first ranged attack. The second missed due to a poor roll. Then the party tried talking smack. Insulting her and saying how she’s just a pushover bully and is afraid of fighting a fair match. Well, Gods are vain creatures, so the fight began with Auriel landing a Nat20 roll on my sisters Monk who was knocked 20 feet away and prone with a backhand. My dads Ranger tried to shoot his Longbow, and managed to hit. Auriel responded with a max damage Cold Touch and dropped him. My moms fighter just split and ran after that, and I didn’t want a TPK. Needless to say my family considers her a bully and they think she’s scared of them. I keep telling them *they are wrong* and they should get a few more levels before trying anything on her again. Can’t wait for the rematch with this music!
