Man I think once you finally have it all done would be the time to take it to homeschool conventions and stuff Iike that. I think the biggest problem is the lack of Christian GMs. The harvest it plenteous but the GMs are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest that he would send forth GMs.

Departed D&D years ago myself for these reasons. I didn’t have an issue with the game. I had an issue with the culture and company. Playing since AD&D in some form or fashion this game was an outlet for a nerd with very few friends. Later in life even when I wasn’t a Christian, I was looked at with an upturned nose when offering to DM games online for people because I was a white, straight male. Seriously. I mean what does that have to do with a game we are playing in our imagination and how does that affect my ability to run a game I know very well? This really began to open my eyes and the more the old guard like myself who kept this game alive through it all were now the enemy. After being saved I transitioned to study and biblical history for a while but always missed playing D&D. So I decided to start my own. It’s been about 5 years now working on my various settings but it’s a start with us Christian game designers combating the darkness. Keep it up brother!!

I agree with most of what you stated. I started playing D&D around 1980 (about 12 yrs old), so I remember the truth, as all of us grogs do. I agree with your Christian perspective (I myself am a Traditional Catholic convert and former Lutheran, former former pagan, former former former Baptist/NonDenom) regarding the decadence our society, the handlers of today's game creation, et al. However, I want to push you beyond simple "paganism" infiltration into the gaming culture. I posit this is not just the neopaganistic, rainbow gender-confused crowd trying to insert itself into our subculture so much as a direct demonic influence and movement that has been chipping away at not only gaming, but every aspect of western/Christian society. Our beloved hobby is but one facet of a much larger gem being pulverized by a darkness that has set upon this world, in full force, over the last two decades, with a strong insertion starting in the 1940s, and again in the 1960s. We are beset upon all sides, brother, and as Lord Elrond stated, "Our list of allies grows thin." (I am, of course, referring to mundane allies. Obviously Christ trumps all.) We either need to fight much, much harder than the wokist children wrecking the gaming industry, or we need to split away and fortify our own separate subculture with enough gatekeeping and metaphorical baileys as to keep it safe from corrosion by the alphabet mafia. It is the latter that is more likely and more tenable. A great schism in the RPG subculture is forming, I think. We need to teach the Gen Alpha kids the correct way to throw dice and roleplay. ❤❤❤ I like your series I appreciate the Christian RPG content. Some constructive criticism that would help is. Some of these things make it hard to consume. Loud throat clearing is hard to keep listening to, you have players eating dinner on the video. Stuff like this are probably hindering your content a lot make viewers turned off to the series. But I do enjoy these.

Every one was forced to follow the church and us it as a charity because it had more authority than kings in some places.

This gets a thumbs up for the theme song alone.

I’m curious what your thoughts are on the monsters in the Lord of the rings and the chronicles of Narnia, both are devote Christian/Catholic writers but they use creatures that are fantasy and not taken from myth of folklore for the most part. (With some exceptions from Minotaurs, centaurs, elves and dwarves, etc.)

also Christians were not kind to Luther religions we literally slaughters people. There is a lot of evil in Christianity. Neck no Biden is Catholic. And not to mention what catholic some priests do with their religious trust from others.

Ain't nothin' more Christian than killin' Dragons. Lookin' at you Saint George. I love this idea. I've been playing 5th Edition DnD for a decade now and even DM for my Sis and brother in law( all of us Christians). It is a bit of a struggle to make a campaign Christ focused. I will remind people that the origin of these games was attempting to make a table strategy game look and feel like Lord of the Rings. A story written by a devote Christian man who wanted to share Christian values by writing something that felt like history. It is possible to take these settings and make them Christian.

Its so hard to find trustworthy people on TH-cam. Most doctors/scientists are sold out to the devil. The earth is less than 7000 years old, evolution is FALSE, and climate change on a life-threatening level is also false. You are speaking foolishness in the eyes of this world. That's how i know you are spot on! I've been on carnivore for almost 3 weeks now. Definitely had some slip up days. I think we as Christians should be talking WAY more about diet and health, both physical and mental. I've never once been to a church that taught me how to eat right, exercise, practice good hygiene, work on my mental health, and so forth. In fact, most church's ive been to have been lead by sick, fat, disabiled old men. Which, I'm not condemning them. Its how the world teaches us to live. How many gluttonous "pot luck" dinners have you been to after a service? I'm not saying that eating cake and pasta is a sin. But come on. How are we suppose to be strong and courageous in the lord, when we are partaking in the same gluttonous ways of the world? Lets focus on physical and mental health just as much as spiritual health! Jesus called us to spread his kingdom. We were not commanded to give paganism or satanism their own kingdom. He stood at the foot of Mount Hermon and declared that the gates of Hell would not stand against his church. He stood at the “gates of hell” and said my church will prevail over you. So we don’t give anyone but Jesus glory by taking everything the pagans try to steel from God and give it back to him by loving all his children and spreading his message to everyone at all times in every event on every holiday. If the church stays dormant in anything then only the non-Jesus believing folk get to advance their kingdom for their purpose.

I think a term you might have been looking for could have been "heretic", "infidel", or "apostate". (As the pagans would describe the church)

I like the idea that TTRPG's are cooperative, first of all. To me it seems way more fun to go on a joint adventure than to play an uninteresting card or dice game. It also seems like a much better team building exercise than dice, card, or boardgames.

Do you ever watch Answers in Genesis? They have a youtube channel and their own app. They run the creation museum and arc encounter. Great resource for Biblical information.

Could you do a short video on why TTRPGs are the best games in general (as opposed to card games, dice games, or boardgames)? And why 'For The Lord' is the best TTRPG for Christian families/Christian groups specifically?

If you have long running characters fighting alongside new characters and everyone is still able to contribute and be challenged then you have an excellent system for a Westmarches style campaign.
