this was my first iphone. it served me really really well, i was in grade 8 when i got it and im in college now. my usage wasnt heavy so the battery was never an issue for me. and this phone was surprisingly turning a lot more heads than someone with the latest iphone. i remember once it was raining heavy i really need to get to someplace using maps the phone was on 5% , the phone was drenched and heating up but it still got me to my place on an hours drive, i dont understand why it stuck to 1% but i loved it for that.
I have an OG iPhone SE in the same rose gold colour, except mine's the 32GB model. It still is snappy to this day but given how Apple cut off support for this, it would be more of a museum piece in the long term.
Well, considering that iOS 12 devices are still unpleasantly but usable for some tasks like TH-cam and messengers, I think this little thing should last for a couple of years, which is unbelievable. Imagine using phone from 2010 in 2017 for modern at that time tasks, it would be nearly impossible.
i still have one, it is the only thing i can use my microphone with to get high quality audio, i can never get my microphone to work on my macbook and it never works with those jack to lightening adapters. This phone still works relatively well in 2023 but might need it's battery replaced which can impact performance
i will buy this phone this february as a "lite phone" its just super convenient to do everything i need on a phone this size, i don't need the power of the se3 and its wayyy too expensive for a student like me. so for minimal social media use, texting, and pictures this phone will be good for as i already have a powerful android to do the more demanding tasks on

I still use this iPhone ha ha for me, this is just the ideal size, is confortable is just perfect compared to the gigantic cellphones produced this days, I have changed the battery 2 times, one of them I did it myself because I just didn't want to ask for a battery replacement for a phone 7 years old, for me everything is normal, the speed, relative good camera, and battery

The 12 mini and 13 mini are amazing! You can probably find them refurbished or used for a decent price. They will last much longer than an OG SE, which is really on its last legs this upcoming year.
