If the tracer is still checking this video for comments. Here are two warmups to do every time before you play for 5-10 minutes and you will see your success skyrocket. Go into the practice range, find a moving bot, stand still, attempt to keep your aim on the bot as precisely as you can. after doing that for several minutes, at slightly different angles, pick a stationary target, strafe left and right while keeping your crosshairs on the target. I promise if you do this 3 times per week for 10 minutes each time your going to notice your accuracy improve drastically and quickly after 2 weeks. But it needs to be consistent and regular. he more time you put in the better it will be, with the note of you will get diminishing returns if you do it for to long each session! Practice both of these at close, medium, and medium-long ranges. Advanced versions include doing this from above or below the target (there are reasons why this is advanced but I dont have time to get into it now)

bap, kiri? lw should be able to finish sombra sometime - can still spam and double jump to chase when she tries to escape. And in my experience people start helping with tracer/sombra starting low silver.
This person (are they console? It looks like console) appears to have what I personally like to call "lazy aim" -which is basically when their crosshair movement is way too slow relative to the playstyle they're trying to apply. This is noticeable especially with a hero like Tracer, if you're applying a swift-movement playstyle with rapidly shifting direction of attack, you need to be able to move your crosshair accordingly -but in this case with this player, their crosshair always seems to be lagging behind very significantly, when they're in high pace situations with blinks being used mid fight. It feels like their aim is lazy, like they can't be bothered with moving their aim too much as if it puts a strain on them or something. If you're a PC player and experience this, you can either try to train yourself in using more arm movement instead of just wrist movement -or you can adopt a higher sensitivity. In that case I would advice you go up in increments of 20% at a time to get a feel for a balance point between what is manageable, and what actually has meaningful impact. If you're on console, the only way is to improve your sensitivity, which may be jarring at first as oyu have less control than a mouse player, but console has fewer levers to pull from and that's just a limitation you gotta work around. If you don't want to change your sensitivity or aim style, then you gotta shift your playstyle itself, to where you always try to angle your attacks from directions where the enemy is unlikely to move counter to you (aka side to side) -and in the cases where they do end up moving side to side, instead of tracking them with your aim, just track them with your movement by copying their side-to-side moves while you keep your aim steady. Typically such playstyles are effective if you set up positions of attack from straight behind the enemy and mostly blink back/forth during engages, and only blink to the side to dodge an ability/get into cover where you have half a second time to readjust your aim. Typically good to blink into rooms when you've been fighting someone out in the open (like on an objective point), so that the room itself gives you enough cover and time to readjust your aim and consider if you want to continue engaging in the fight or take a step back to re-evaluate the situation. You generally don't want to expose yourself to more than one person at a time, especially not if they're on opposing sides of your FOV. This is a hard NO-NO. ONLY do it if you're the sole person contesting an objective in overtime. Otherwise, never let two enemies be on opposing sides of you. Ever.
Adding on to controller, you can also change your aiming method in settings, it’s set to dual-zone by default but you can change it to the more erratic Linear or Exponential ramp, I remember one of them sucks and the other is the one all the good Genji and Tracers use, problem is that aiming method makes it a lot harder to play characters like Soldier Widow Ashe and so on because the aiming is a lot faster and more erratic I’ve been rocking dual zone since I just don’t like how the others feel and I’ve pretty much accepted that I’ll never be good with Tracer or Genji, on controller max sense with dualzone it’s not even possible to do a ghost dash on Genji, you physically cannot turn 180° during the dash on dual zone
Think part of it is that OW is so inconsistent that people can't get used to what it feels like to be challenged at their own rank, they either stomp or get stomped, and they're going back and forth so often that it embeds all their bad habits and keeps them from improving imo
Despite their gamesense and positioning their tracking is actually not that bad. They suffer a bit from lazy aim with how slow it is and I think that also hampers their reaction timing. I'd say double that sens and with practice they could get higher.
I just have to say, something I notice as a mercy main and being in the back of my team surveying everything… I have come to the conclusion in Gold they straight up ignore Tracer’s ALL OF THE TIME. Doesn’t matter how many times I ping her. They blatantly ignore her and don’t wanna deal with her which ends up costing my team when it happens. She’s a pain to get rid of so no one wants to they just pray she goes away😂

I finished my first season of the game plat on Wrecking Ball (my first placement was gold 1) and then struggled through plat until I reached 400 hours on the game and finally became a diamond player. I had a really bad loss streak on dps and went from first placement of plat 3 all the way down to gold 4 and then to plat 1 and what I've learned is the difference between a low gold and high plat player is a few mistakes. I got placed in a gold 1 lobby as a plat 2 dps and consistently hit headshots and soft carried the team on Ashe but I used my ults wrong and we lost. My team did some really stupid shit (Reaper and the two supps decided to walk in alone after me and the tank died and used blossom) and I could have carried them despite that but I fucked up my Bobs. They used beat so the three ults we used on them did not matter :). When I first started playing support I was gold because I had poor nano timing/held onto nano too long. That enemy team absolutely *refused* to shoot anyone but the tank most of the game - no matter who may kills Tracer got. Is this what Gold looks like now? The player's aim was probably at least at Gold, but the overall gamesense of the lobby seems off. I haven't played in a year, so maybe the reduced playerbase shifted overall SR?
I've watched the first 2 fights and I agree, they should be lower, and that's alright. You get players like this who are higher than they should be and then you get me who goes 5-0 with the last rank system and loses 3 tiers of rank 🤷♂️
@05:04 why do u think people are hard stuck at gold when 90% of the time u have teammates like this that dont have any clue what is going on. no matter what, in the end its a team game and a single player can not consistently tip the balance in every game and grow in rank.
Your enemies have just as much chance of being bad as your teammates though so it balances out. Actually you have 5 possible bad opponents and only 4 possible bad teammates so it works in your favour as long as you play good. But people don't want to think about that because they want to feel like them being stuck is someone elses fault and not their own

@Th3D4nny highly disagree. Maybe for brand brand new players. But different attacks require different sensitivities. The sens this player was on is near impossible to use in the way they are. Either they have to change the way they move their mouse, or their sensitivity. Coming from a sombra, ashe, widow, cass, tracer player. The middle 3 can all be very similar. But sombra and tracer ABSOLUTELY need a higher sensitivity than the others unless you are GODLY at dragging your mouse. It doesn't even need to be a big change, just minor adjustments. Then again I guess it's all preference. But seriously sit and consider whether your current arm/wrist movements match your sensitivity for the faster vs more precise aiming characters
@@GBA22 Some heroes don't need a higher sense, you just need to become 'godly at dragging your mouse'. Just get a lightweight mouse and good (and very large) mousepad and this won't be an issue at all. Muscle memory = king when it comes to aim.

Nope, not at all, I faced against gold players who are way better than this, something doesn't add up here. The only explanation would be everyone in this lobby deserved a lower rank, not just the tracer lol. Maybe they in a huge lose-streak, so the matchmaking is trying to force a win.
Maybe it's because it's console
Omg it's console. How can people still not tell?
I'm bronze and think i should be lower
This game fr gives me an existential crisis
Looks a bit messy for gold, but bothering the backline is value so you rank up. There's some more occasional game sense here than skills.
Ive had to experience Bronze and Silver because i never played FPS and im nearing my 40s. This game really look like a low gold game. Silver and bronze are really a different world. Emongg is giving good advice. Main Tracer now in Diamond. If my old oink ass can do it you youngster can too
I’m literally new and noob and got placed to platinum as support… I was aiming to get to bronce. My rank experience stopped right there. I don’t like making people mad and most likely they are right.
As a mei main I can say that sniper mei is super op and I always beat my sniper duels vs widow
Emong is so sassy in this vid I love it
Just started to play Overwatch 2 again, rusty ofc... I main Ramatra, any tips on how to use him better?
Im glad youre not watching my gameplay... You would roast my gameplay soooo hard
Most humble gold player
That tracer spot at the beginning doesn’t work if they play on low settings as the bush won’t be there.
An Emongg video with someone denying their rank? Thats new.
I played Lucio and my teammate played Mercy on a game of control in Open queue. I had 19k healing and Mercy 18k, while the other team's healer had like 12k and 11k.
Granted, we still lost the game somehow in a nail biter, but that comp can kind of heal okay.
gold by title, silver in spirit
Anyone else said we didnt get the C9 song when they got the point.
any idea when the next potg bingo is ?
honestly after watching this i feel like i should atleast be in like gold 1-2 atleast but ive been hardstuck silver 1
A player that wants to be in a lower rank?! That's new 😯😂
Get closer for pulse bombs. That’s it gg.
This is console, so any healing you don't have to aim is just stronger by default, so you'll see a lot of Mercy/Lucio at lower levels
Being stuck in gold is crazy.
Not your average player, that's why another of people are stuck in an average rank.
Your enemies have just as much chance of being bad as your teammates though so it balances out. Actually you have 5 possible bad opponents and only 4 possible bad teammates so it works in your favour as long as you play good. But people don't want to think about that because they want to feel like them being stuck is someone elses fault and not their own
if you want to climb you need to carry, you won’t get to grandmaster playing like everyone else’s level
@@CainRG1 i had a bastion on my team that managed to deal 8k damage but somehow only get 2 elims and a soldier with 6k dmg and also 2 elims in the first round. the tank had 11k damage with 12 elims as a Orisa. sadly our supports played Lucio/mercy (worst healing combo possible) so the healing wasnt sufficient to keep both bastion and orisa alive. what made it worse is that the soldier and bastion blamed the Orisa for losing. while the enemy team praised the Orisa by the end of the game as being the carry
@@Nillix1 I think its a fine balance. as DPS you can make waves, but if your skill is average you need the tank and supports to back you up. some games I do completely terrible, while others I blaze through the enemy team. its a tough balancing act
I was wondering why he ain’t sneak cap the point like three times the other team
Keep leaving the point
emongg is extra snarky here omg
Someone is calling to be at a *lower* rank. Gotta say, that's a first.
wow, so humble
i feel like their sensitivity is so low the have to aim with WASD
I absolutely confused and do not even know what to say about enemy's team in first game
They literally do not care about enemy's Tracer right in front of them, they do nothing
Maybe I'm missing something, did they agreed not to kill this Tracer or wth did I just witnessed lmao
I made it to Diamond and I’m honest I don’t belong there lol I just get lucky runs and I get carried
Bro how am I sliver…
I play qp and dont care what rank I am. It's just not important tuh meh
I hope he notices my submission one day so I can get feedback to improve, best to learn from the best tank player!
Alright, SO!
Emogg
holy mother of......what is this, wood league?
This is not hide and seek
Not to be mean but, my man’s sensitivity is at -1, bro turns like he is on controller fighting the hardest stickdrift of his life, bro looks like the bots from the Verses Ai lobbies, everytime bro finished turning it’s the next day, everytime bro turns a new update comes out, bro turned his sensitivity so low it inverted his controls, everytime bro turns around he misses a team fight.
Guys this is console gold. So yeah basically silver pc.
There fine in gold. There not to high.
Think this was gold and like if this is gold tracer my tracer should be like plat to diamond lol guess it will just take time
Rank is broken, really badly. I have plat-level players in my bronze lobby and this Tracer is in Gold? Sure, why not
Eggnog
Widoemeiker
oh, hi
The mouse sens is killing me, looks like 200dpi 8ingame lmao
Turning through custard
I have the same problem I’m in gold 4 and I should be in like silver 5 or something(healer)
I’m early!
I am early 33 seconds ago
👇early gang/👇Late gang
That aim is terrible, like wow.
Don’t overreacting lol its not that BAD it just needs a little work on it
this is gold? because that's bronze in Europe....ugh
CHANGE SENSITIVITY DEPENDING ON YOUR HERO!
Mei sens was fine
Tracer sens was AWFUL
No don't do this it will throw off your aim. Aim is all about building muscle memory. Gotta use the same sens even across different games.
@Th3D4nny highly disagree.
@Th3D4nny yeah again if you can just fix the arm/wrist movements, then fair enough. The free option is sensitivity though.
How do I turn in a match for you to review cuz I'm a Gold support that went from Unranked DMG to Plat 4 Dmg and I thought I'd being in silver at MOST! xD
Keep in mind that I'm a console player with a broken analog stick. lmao
I had to climb out of silver as a support and I started comp seriously at around season 7 and before that I only played casually with friends.
