For videos with minimal talking that are more designed for sleep, I'd like the black background. But for videos with more interaction, like the roleplays or show and tells, the cozy background is really comforting.

Both backgrounds have their advantages. The void is more relaxing, and would work best for "standard" ASMR videos, while the old background was more interesting and had a charm to it that would fit the role plays.
I still like the black more anyway

I love the black void background - it's visually relaxing. However, the usual background is... so yours. The warm yellow light you usually use gives me home vibes. Going back and forth using both backgrounds is a great idea
I like both backgrounds, with the regular background it’s very cozy and makes you feel like ur in a quaint cottage in the woods (not cabin ppl get murdered in those) and the black void is nice especially when it’s late late at night (after studying cuz you’re going to fail ur geometry final) and any background is too bright in the pitch darkness of my room. So I’m good with either! :)

Yeah this background is very nice! I do prefer the other one, but I think that this can be used for more themes. It depends only on your imagination, and you have a lot :) also, another masterpiece, Master Marno!
The other backround adds to the relaxing atmosphere, I'd say. And its unique.

i really like the idea of the background switching!! both give different relaxing vibes PLUS having variety never hurts

I definitely like the old (more busy, more natural) background better, but I watch you for you so as long as that doesn't change to much I'm here no matter the background.

@@Dawnlotus With earbuds it's relatively loud, much less of an issue with over ear headphones though.

Old background is a staple of ur channel, nice warm and cozy, fits with the yellow vibes. The black feels like a THROWBACK throwback
the black void reminds me of your older videos (so, very appropriate for this video!) but i find your usual background much more cozy. i think the usual background is also easier on the eyes late at night, because there isn’t such a stark contrast between bright marno and pitch back background. that’s just my opinion though :-)

I prefer the room/old background rather than the dark one. I prefer ASMR videos that look like they are in a room and not floating in nothing. Feels more grounded and calming.
Your old background is something I really grew to love about your videos. It's simultaneously very relaxing and cozy while being visually interesting. I hope you never stop making videos with it cause that's part of the experience for me!
I like the room background better. I think it looks so cozy and safe and it's interesting. but the black background feels very underestimating to my brain and not in a good way if that makes sense
I like the classic Marno soft lighting background. The black is fine but I prefer the cozy apartment look.

I love the old background, because it feels cozy and familiar. Watched so many of your videos it feels like coming over to a friend's house in a way - just familiar and relaxing. The void on the other hand is very visually cool and I love the floating head and hands look, honestly. I think it's wicked cool. I hope to see you switch between the two so both can get some love!!

for me it’s the old background all the way. its probably my favourite background in the asmr community. it feels so warm and cozy and for me it adds a lot to your videos :) but the black background can be nice too for certain videos!
Idk why but I feel more more sleepy listening to chaotic role plays then normal asmr, but u do both and that why I'm subscribed /positive connotation

I think your living room or whatever that was, had a warm, cozy feeling to it. I actually felt it gave you a one-up against the backdrops of other ASMRtists. Simple backdrops like this video are relaxing too, but I prefer the homey feel of your usual one.

The other background is familiar and brings comfort since I've seen it in so many videos, but I'm fine with this black one too! Also the styrofoam balls sounds soooo good
I enjoy both backgrounds! They work well for different themes in my opinion. The room is more fitting for roleplays while the void is good for assortments like this. Either way the videos are still full of your wonderful artistic talent and at the end of the day that's all that truly matters :)
Personally I find both backgrounds to be great! The void takes away the distractions, and makes it a little more entrancing. However, your original makes the videos feel more homey and personal. Thanks for another amazing video!

100% keep black void! I often look for ASMR videos primarily with dark backgrounds, and nothing is darker than the black void. :)
